Testimony of Barry Ng, Ex New Creation Church member
– exposes Joseph Prince & his heresies
Excerpt No 1 of Barry Ng’s Testimony:
“This choir girl had an affair with a church leader,
who was a deacon and a full-time minister
with New Creation Church.
The choir girl became pregnant.
I also knew that this deacon was a married man
with kids…”
Important Announcement No 1:
I appeal to those with the burden
to expose Joseph Prince’s heresies
to come for the meeting to be fixed.
Please write to me at revgeorgeong@gmail.com
The great news is that among the many
who have responded,
is one Reverend,
who sat in the National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS) before,
and one Elder,
both from the Presbyterian Church,
who have readily agreed to be part of this meeting,
and to be involved in this vision.
Excerpt No 2 of Barry Ng’s Testimony:
7. I bumped into Rev George Ong’s website 2 years ago
About 2 years ago,
I bumped into Rev George Ong’s website
and started to listen to his YouTube videos regularly,
I found his resources very useful in helping me
to expose Joseph Prince as a heretic
and a wolf in sheepskin.
They also gave me deeper understanding
and greater grasp
of Joseph Prince’s pseudo-grace teachings.
His resources have opened my eyes
to see in more detail and greater light
about how deceptive and destructive
Joseph Prince’s teachings are.
Rev George Ong is doing a great job
to battle against Joseph Prince and his heresies,
and delivering people from under his hold,
and saving their souls from going to hell.
But we must not leave him to fight alone.
As I understand,
Rev George Ong has been fighting this battle
relentlessly and without stop for the last 8 years.
It is time for us not just to encourage and pray for him
from afar, and at a distance.
But it’s time to come alongside with him
and work with him in close combat and in unison,
and offer whatever help we can
to fight this battle together.
Let’s put our money where our mouth is.
That is why when Rev George Ong
appealed for people to come forward,
especially, Ex New Creation Church members
to go beyond their comfort zone and play their part
in battling against Joseph Prince’s false teachings,
I readily responded.
As I was an Ex New Creation Church member,
I was moved by his appeal,
and I responded almost immediately.
I agree with Rev George Ong
that we must not only fight the battle individually,
but we must come together corporately
in prayer and action
because unity is strength.
That is why I have committed myself
to help Rev George Ong on 2 things:
to attend the coming meeting
that Rev George Ong was talking about (date not fixed yet),
and also to contribute this testimony that I have written.
Let’s all chip in to help not from afar,
but corporately as we come together to fight this battle.
I looked forward to this meeting
that Rev George Ong had announced.

Testimony of Barry Ng, an Ex New Creation Church member
Introduction
“I was born again early 1990
at Calvary Charismatic Church at New World.
As such, it was the de facto assumption on myself
– that I am a “Christian”
in the sense of being a true believer,
truly saved in Christ Jesus.
However, as the Lord would direct my life,
the falseness of my faith
– as well as the truth that there could even
be such a thing as false faith
– would be revealed to me.
In 1998, I attended New Creation Church’s Thursday Bible Study,
and was exposed
to Joseph Prince’s unique selling point in his doctrine, Grace.
By 1999, I started attending New Creation Church regularly,
and was a disciple ministry worker under Pastor Henry Yeo.
My role during the salvation altar call
is to assist new converts
to give them the assurance of salvation,
and to gather their particulars for the church to follow up.
1. Joseph Prince’s teaching that one can be cursed if one doesn’t give cheerfully and if one doesn’t give
Sometime around 2002, I also began to notice
that Joseph Prince was subtlely speaking
about tithes, offerings and the area of giving to God.
I remember clearly when the church was meeting
at the Orchard Hotel, around 1998-1999,
Joseph Prince told the congregation:
“If you cannot give with a cheerful heart.
I’d rather you don’t give,
or you will be cursed”.
Fast forward to 2002, at the Rock Auditorium at Suntec,
Joseph Prince changed his tune to
“I’d rather you give than don’t,
or you will be cursed”.
I remembered Joseph Prince spoke on this
on at least 2 occasions.
It made me a little uncomfortable, to say the least,
because it was much like an aggressive sales speech.
For Joseph Prince to teach that
if one doesn’t give with a cheerful heart,
and if one doesn’t give,
one would be cursed
is downright evil,
and totally out of place with the scriptures.
How can Joseph Prince, a teacher of grace,
teach that believers can be cursed
just because they don’t give cheerfully or they don’t give?
This is no different from the teaching of cults
that compels one to give,
and to threaten that something bad,
such as curses, would happen to one
if one doesn’t give.
By doing this,
Joseph Prince has indeed revealed himself as a cult leader.
2. New Creation Church’s culture to hush up things
The next episode I want to share
is that I have many close friends in New Creation Church.
and I was also a care group member.
Among my close friends were also choir members,
and a choir girl whom we knew.
This choir girl had an affair with a church leader,
who was a deacon and a full-time minister
with New Creation Church.
The choir girl became pregnant.
I also knew that this deacon was a married man with kids.
My group of close friends
were all instructed by the Church Leadership
to keep quiet on the matter.
The deacon was removed from his full-time ministry.
But one thing is certain that New Creation Church
upkeep the choir girl,
and she gets some kind of hush money
from New Creation Church
in order to keep her silent from mentioning about this affair.
It is important that I highlight this
because Joseph Prince and New Creation Church
would always highlight the positive testimonies of people
who are so-called helped by Joseph Prince’s teachings.
But when negative things, such as what had happened
in the affair between the deacon, a married man,
who was also a full-time minister with New Creation Church,
and the choir girl,
Joseph Prince and the New Creation Church leadership
will make sure they are totally kept under wraps.
So, we must never be deceived
by those positive testimonies that New Creation Church
read out week after week in the worship services of the church
by Gabriel Tan.
This only gives a one-sided and false picture
that everything is rosy and glorious in New Creation Church.
But what is also true is that lives are falling apart
because of Joseph Prince’s heretical teachings.
The teaching that accounts for this affair
between a full-time minister of New Creation Church
and the choir girl,
must have been the teaching by Joseph Prince
that all our sins are already forgiven,
and that when we sin,
we must never confess our sins,
but we must confess that
we are the righteousness of God in Christ.
So, just imagine when the deacon and the choir girl
were committing the sin and the act of adultery,
if they were to obey Joseph Prince’s teaching,
that would mean that in their act and sin of adultery,
they were supposed to declare
that they are the righteousness of Christ.
This is utterly ridiculous!
Joseph Prince has kept on defending that his grace teaching
does not give people the license to sin.
But from the episode of this affair
between the deacon,
who was a full-time minister with New Creation Church
and the choir girl,
this fact points to the contrary.
I mean, if Joseph Prince’s teaching does not even work
for his own full-time staff, the deacon,
Joseph Prince’s constant repetition in his sermons
that his grace teaching does not give people the license to sin,
and does not lead people to sin,
sounds very hollow and is clearly a lie.
Moreover, I am sure there are also many other cases
of such nature of adultery
or marital unfaithfulness in the church.
So, be warned that Joseph Prince’s teaching about sin
that there is no need to confess your sins
because all future sins are forgiven at the cross
without confession,
does give people the license to sin,
and does lead people into sin.
Furthermore, Joseph Prince’s
once saved, always saved doctrine
also contributed to leading people into sin.
(In fact, for a while, I was even influenced
by Joseph Prince’s once saved, always saved doctrine
and I felt somewhat liberated.
But I was glad that I came to my senses
and realised that this teaching is false.)
People would reason that if their sins,
including their future adulterous sins are already forgiven,
and there is no need to confess them to God,
as God had already forgiven all their future adulterous sins,
and worse, they are once saved, always saved,
why would they need to worry about their salvation
as their adulterous sins that they will commit in the future
have all been forgiven at the cross?
So, can you see that Joseph Prince’s teaching on sin
is so evil and toxic
that it can actually lead people into sin
and to commit adultery.
3. I was removed from serving because I said tithing belongs to the Old Covenant, not the New
After the affair between the deacon and the choir girl,
life went back to normal, and our Makan Christian group
grew with some young adults joining us regularly.
And it was during an informal gathering
that I shared my view on some sensitive topics.
Among them was Joseph Prince’s teaching
that as New Covenant believers we must tithe,
based on Hebrews 8 and 2 Corinthians 9:6.
I disagreed with Joseph Prince’s teaching,
and I said that
“No Earthly Christian father
will require their own children
to do compulsory tithing,
especially according to Hebrews 8,
the priesthood changed to Jesus Christ.
Also, according to Paul’s teaching,
he never mentioned tithing but freewill offering,
2 Corinthians 9:6
“Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”
One of the young adults reported what I said
to Pastor Henry Yeo.
Pastor Henry Yeo called me up and chastised me on the issue,
and he made me apologise for my statements.
I was then removed as a Disciple Ministry Worker immediately.
Well, the reason why New Creation Church
was so particular about this issue
was that it would affect the amount of offerings and tithes
that come into the church.
After all is said and done,
to Joseph Prince and New Creation Church,
it’s all about money.
But for New Creation Church and Joseph Prince
to teach that tithing is compulsory is not right
as tithing is under the Old Covenant.
Joseph Prince interprets the scriptures
not according to the Bible,
but according to what fits with his grace doctrine.
He teaches that since we are under the New Covenant,
God can never get angry with us and will never punish us
because God is only angry
and can only punish Old Covenant believers.
Yet, when it comes to tithing,
which is supposed to be under the Old Covenant,
Joseph Prince switched gear and he said that
tithing is for New Covenant believers.
You see how Joseph Prince picks and chooses doctrines
only if they flow with his Grace doctrine.
Joseph Prince has no respect for the word of God
because his grace doctrine is more important than God’s word
that he would even dare to twist God’s word
to fit his grace doctrine.
This twisting of scriptures
is definitely not the work of a true teacher of God,
but the work of a false teacher and a wolf in sheepskin.
4. Joseph Prince’s teaching that every believer is entitled to live a long life is not even true for members of New Creation Church
I made many friends in New Creation Church.
Sadly, my beloved friend, Nathaniel in New Creation Church
(Popular with New Creation Church members)
went home at the prime of his life.
He suffered from sleep apnea
and died in his sleep from asphyxiation.
I really missed this happy and jovial brother in Christ,
and may he rest in peace
with Lord God Almighty in Jesus Christ.
Another friend, Collin, sadly departed,
after a hard day at his workplace
and died from pneumonia caused by respiratory failure.
He is a heartwarming individual
who was missed by both his loved ones and friends alike.
Another friend, Yan Tuck, sadly lost his fight to cancer,
and I lost a Christian brother with whom I fellowship with
and learn Bible knowledge from.
Why do I bring up the passing on of these friends
in New Creation Church?
It is to expose Joseph Prince’s teachings
that believers will live long lives up to their satisfaction.
These brothers whom I have mentioned
didn’t live long lives
as their lives were cut short before their time.
So, given these examples
and many more in New Creation Church
who died early in their lives,
Joseph Prince’s teaching that a long life is for every believer
is pure fantasy
and a scam that is devised by Joseph Prince
to deceive people.
5. Joseph Prince is more of an evangelist and preacher but not a Pastor at all
Joseph Prince may be an evangelist or preacher
but he has no right to call himself a Pastor
because he does very little Pastoring.
His own church members hardly see him face to face at all,
except in the pulpit.
Joseph Prince may give the excuse
that he can only Pastor his Pastoral staff,
but that is a copout,
as most Senior Pastors, besides pastoring their Pastoral staff,
also made time for their church members from time to time.
The truth is New Creation Church members
can’t even get close to him.
How can New Creation Church members
even get near to Joseph Prince
when he keeps surrounding himself with bodyguards?
I thought he said God would always protect him.
But why is he trusting more on his bodyguards
to protect him than God?
It is very common for most New Creation Church members
to made the remark that in their many years in the church,
they have hardly talked to him,
or even bumped into him at the church at all.
If Joseph Prince has made himself
so unavailable and aloof to his own members,
how can he effectively Pastor his church?
More so, one can tell from the way Joseph Prince operates,
he really doesn’t like or enjoy the work of a Pastor.
Joseph Prince always says in his sermons,
“I Preach myself happy.”
But he never says,
“I Pastor myself happy.”
Since Joseph Prince only enjoys preaching
and hardly does any Pastoring,
he can call himself, Evangelist Prince or Preacher Prince,
but he has no right to call himself Pastor Prince.
Lastly, one with a Pastor’s heart
would love to be with and meet people.
But most people can see through the heart of Joseph Prince
that he shuns people
because he hardly enjoys being with them.
6. Joseph Prince twisting the scriptures to justify his Prosperity Gospel and for personal advantage
I remembered in the late 1990s,
Joseph Prince abused the scriptures
to justify his purchase of a BMW 7 series sedan back,
when Joseph Prince quoted Genesis 45:27
and he said the verse had the words,
“Behold my wagons” (BMW)
Genesis 45:27 KJV
27 And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived:
But as you can see, “Behold my wagons”
is not even in the text.
What is stated in the text is “saw the wagons”.
Such blatant abuse of the scriptures to justify one’s lifestyle
cannot come from a true preacher of the gospel
but a wolf in sheepskin.
Such horrible teachings
even influenced New Creation Church members.
I remembered I sat in a car
driven by a New Creation Church member,
Yan Tuck, a friend of mine,
who is the National Park director,
working as a scientist director in Botanical Park,
and he drove me along the West Coast Park.
Guess what was the brand of his car?
A BMW!
He must have been influenced by Joseph Prince
that there is a scriptural basis for believers to own a BMW.
7. I bumped into Rev George Ong’s website 2 years ago

Conclusion
Today, I am happy to say I am with Grace Methodist Church,
where the word of God is preached with substance,
and not the pseudo-grace doctrine,
and without repentance and without sanctification
false gospel that Joseph Prince preaches.
My message to all
who are still attending New Creation Church is,
you should come out of Joseph Prince’s pseudo-grace doctrine.
Please leave when there is still time.
But the time comes when you will be so kept
under Joseph Prince’s demonic hold
that you can no longer come out of this bondage.
When that happens, that would be the end of you.
So, by the true grace of God
(not the false grace of Joseph Prince),
may I plead with you,
to flee from Joseph Prince and his heresies
that will only bring you destruction
and finally, to the lake of fire.”
In shalom, be with all.

George Ong’s comments:
One Ex New Creation Church member
who knows Gabriel Tan,
as he was in the same cell group as Gabriel Tan,
many years ago,
(Gabriel Tan is the one who reads testimonies
during worship services at New Creation Church
just before Joseph Prince comes on to preach),
told me that Gabriel Tan’s mother,
passed away early, before her time.
This Ex New Creation Church member said in his estimate
Gabriel Tan’s mother is probably in her 50s or younger,
but she is unlikely to be in her 60s,
and definitely not in her 70s.
What’s more,
Joseph Prince’s own mother, who passed away recently,
is definitely not even in her late 80s or early 90s.
When we talk about long life,
it must certainly be in the range of above 100,
or, at least, the late 90s.
So, not only most New Creation Church members,
did not live long lives
even the Pastors’ own close relations themselves
passed way before their time.
Hey Joe, I “admire” your recklessness
that you dare to sell a doctrine
when your own people and even your own mother
didn’t even live up to it.
Yet, there are thousands of your own congregation
who are so silly and gullible
as to believe in this scam you had concocted
that believers can live long lives to their satisfaction.
Barry Ng wrote:

George Ong’s comments:
Have you noticed that
when Joseph Prince isn’t preaching,
he is nowhere to be found in the congregation.
Why?
I mean it is the practice of all churches
in Singapore and beyond,
that when every Senior Pastor of every church
is not preaching,
he would be seated in the congregation,
mostly in the front seats.
But why is Joseph Prince not seated at all
in the congregation when he isn’t preaching?
I have hardly come across any Senior Pastor of any church
that does that
– when he is not preaching,
he isn’t found in the congregation.
I mean, no Senior Pastor will do that,
except Joseph Prince.
I’d tell you why.
First, this is because Joseph Prince wants to place himself
as someone who stands above the rest.
He can minister to others by preaching,
but when someone else is preaching,
he does not need to be ministered by him or her.
Second, Joseph Prince doesn’t like being around with people.
When he is preaching,
he would use the excuse that he can’t mix around
because he has to focus on the delivery of his sermons.
But when he is not preaching, he has no excuse at all
not to be seated with the congregation,
and then to mix around with his members
after the service.
Why?
Because Joseph Prince is not a people-centred person,
who does not enjoy talking to people one-on-one.
Joseph Prince is only interested in speaking to thousands,
and he only thrives on crowds,
but he has no time to meet people personally,
and ministering to people one-on-one
doesn’t fire him up at all.
Third, Joseph Prince does not want to mix around
with the congregation
because he is afraid
that his members would ask him questions
about his doctrine.
And he is well aware
that he would not be able to answer them adequately,
because when truth and error meet, truth will prevail.
This is why Joseph Prince is only secure and confident
in a one-way communication,
like the weekly preaching of his sermons.
But once there is a 2-way exchange,
he will flop terribly.
This is why in his sermon, or seminar, or teaching,
he will never allow any question-and-answer session,
because he knew he wouldn’t be able
to handle people’s questions,
and he will be exposed as a fraud for the world to see.

“Hi all Christian brothers and sisters,
Just wondering.
In Singapore, have you ever seen
a so-called “Christian Leader pastor”
tell so many BLATANT, “in your face”
LIES to twist the Bible?
The Best of ALL is that MERE, MERE little man,
Joseph Prince, saying 15 is 14!
… when he said his birthday 15 July
is the same as Israel’s birthday, 14 July!
This NOTORIOUS, SHAMELESS, INCREDIBLE, SHOCKER
of a Lie really drove the Nail in!
Anyone doesn’t need to scrutinize the Bible,
but only to GOOGLE to fact-check this horrible LIE!
Again, has anyone seen
a self-claimed Singapore “leader pastor”
telling so many outright, blatant, SHAMEFUL lies
on the pulpit, before his church and the World?
I haven’t, have you?
Really, near the end times, many incredible,
Shocking things are happening.
This is NOT a pastor making an accidental rare mistake.
George Ong has graciously laid out
all the verses to CLEARLY explain
that that MERE man called Joseph Prince
is twisting the word in the Bible.
God says not to take or add even a word to the Bible, yes?
Why isn’t anyone of the 33,000 pointing out
even ONE of the many SHOCKING lies
that that MERE man, Joseph Prince, is expounding?
Why, why, why?
Maybe, the “veil” or spell is so great over them all, maybe?
What do you think?”
@estherjoy7042
“I want to thank Rev George Ong and team,
and all the brethren who step forward
to bring to light the heresies preached and propagated
by Joseph Prince and team to the whole world!
Joseph Prince has done too much damage
to the Kingdom of God for the last 3 decades.
Daddy God has sent many brethren to talk to him
but Joseph Prince simply refuses to listen, let alone repent.
He has said many times at the pulpit
that he would NOT read the emails sent to him
regarding his pseudo-grace doctrine.
Since he has been as stubborn as a mule for so long,
Daddy God now sends Rev George Ong to ‘whip’ him
in order to save him and his foolish followers
from the pit of Hell!
THIS IS TRULY THE GRACE OF OUR FATHER GOD
for Joseph Prince and followers. Amen.”
@WordsofGodThe
“Gabriel Tan has forgotten, no matter how many
or how lengthy are the scriptures quoted here
(by Rev George or the critics here
even if they are all combined together),
they are never more or long enough compared
with the scriptures QUOTED by his ‘Master Prince’.
Gabriel Tan says “.. don’t take the word, don’t quote scripture to embarrass others.. don’t quote to show off your Bible knowledge .. don’t quote to find faults with others .. don’t quote to knock other people on the head .. don’t quote to condemn others .. don’t ..” https://youtu.be/ScOKD4Txwbo?si=Lf_tXmCp6tzPC6QE&t=627
I will ask him,
are you setting up the new dos and don’ts
(or the Ten Commandments) for New Creation Church?
I think these are still good ‘commandments’
(although I know that these can never replace
the Ten Commandments);
however, please REMIND your Master Prince
of your ‘commandments’
before he comes out to preach next week.
I wonder how many of your ‘commandments’ he will fulfil.
Let’s wait and see ..”

“… How deviously evil it is that
Joseph’s false promise of health through Holy Communion
is precisely what has caused loss of health,
and in some life-threatening cases, even loss of life?
How do you sleep at night
knowing that people have passed away directly
because of your evil and blatantly false teaching, Joseph?
Probably you enclose yourself in your own bubble
and anyone bringing you negative reports,
you will bombard them with word salad
like ah bah bah bah bah,
don’t tell me negative things, right, Joseph?
How can anyone support such an evil, cruel,
and lawless creature like Joseph Prince?
To Gabriel Tan, Lim Lian Neo, Mark Ng, and Lawrence Lim,
do you know that you are guilty too.
I recommend that you repent and quickly leave;
it is never too late!
All the Christian broadcast people
should cut ties with Joseph Prince.
They should know better.
They must have encountered all kinds of charlatans
trying to sell false teachings down through the years.
Thus, Joseph Prince’s false teaching
that the Holy Communion heals
is debunked once and for all.”
@thng9170
“There is a sharp difference
between correcting a brother in love
and confronting a false teacher like Joseph Prince.
If a false teacher remains unrepentant,
does not heed God’s correction,
and persists in his false teachings,
there is no more room for grace towards him.
If you shield Joseph Prince and call him a ‘brother in Christ’,
it is telling a big lie in the sight of God.
There is no need to argue on this point
because the Bible is our yardstick.
Read it carefully, and you will know whether Joseph Prince
is or is not a false teacher.”
@Kat-lm2qu
“Joseph Prince is actually
more of an entertainer than a pastor.
You mean people can’t differentiate between these 2?”
@jeremychew6582
“For those who cannot find any verses
to support the “right” teachings of Joseph Prince
except to say,
look at the size of his followers vs. Rev George Ong…
The Bible said narrow is the gate of Heaven
and few will find it.
Even if this channel leads 100 souls to salvation,
that is already 100 times better than Joseph Prince,
who will lead no one to Heaven.
So, it isn’t about numbers,
and may the grace of God
sustain Rev George Ong in his calling.”
@marietmc
“Hi Rev George Ong, God not only shows you a sign,
but God shows another sign
that maybe nobody really takes notice.
It was announced last Sunday
that the Shaw Theatres Lot One will no longer be available
as a service venue for New Creation Church goers
for the coming 3rd Aug 2025 onward.
And the pastor encouraged those who used to attend there
to join them at the Star Performance Arts Centre,
or any other service venue.
I believe that New Creation Church is downsizing
as more New Creation Church goers’ spiritual eyes
are opened to know the false preaching and teachings
of Joseph Prince are leaving this false church.
I pray that New Creation Church’s attendance will continue
to become smaller as more New Creation worshipers
are responding to the voice of The Holy Spirit
that call them (in Revelation 18:4) saying,
Come out of her (NCC), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
May our Wonderful Saviour continue to bless your ministry
and all the ex-New Creation Church critics
and keep you all from evil. Amen.”
George Ong’s response to @marietmc’s comments:
“Thanks, @marietmc, for your encouragement.
Yes, I am aware of this.
In fact, this closure of Lot One
was announced 2 Sundays ago and again last Sunday.
I had wanted to feature this Lot One issue,
but there were too many other issues
that had to be featured first.
I intend to feature just a short clip of this,
hopefully, in the next or following release.”
