Announcement No 1

Though my 40th Wedding Anniversary

is over the last weekend,

I still have a very major event this weekend (13-15 Sep).

My family of 5 is travelling to Malaysia for the event

from tomorrow morning onwards

and will be back only on late Sunday evening.

Despite this, thank God for helping me

to pull off another Article against Joseph Prince’s heresies.

Part 1: Joseph Prince leads people to hell and makes Jesus a liar when he says the law has been abolished – By Rev George Ong

In the sermon preached on 1 Sep 2024, 2 Sundays ago,

Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 40-second video:

“When Jesus looked at the Jewish people of His day,

do you think they know the Ten Commandments?

Come on.

These are people who grow up memorising the law

since they were only a few years old.

Their school, their only school is their rabbinical school.

They know the law.

And yet, Jesus look at them and says,

you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

Some people (say) wow the truth we need is the law.

We must bring back the law to the church.

The law was until Jesus came

and then grace and truth came, Hallelujah.

Joseph Prince is effectively saying

since grace and truth came with Jesus’ first coming,

the law was abolished;

and therefore, we must never bring back the law.

But Jesus has never abolished the law

and Christ further said that the law is here to stay

until heaven and earth passed away.

In a teaching session, George Ong said;

Please click here

to view the 2-minute-30-second video:

“He (Joseph Prince) always uses the cross

to back up many of his doctrines.

It is not true.

Because he says at the cross,

the law is no longer applicable.

It isn’t true.

Which text?

There is no text that proves it.

But you’re going to see the next text

that proves him (Joseph Prince) wrong.

The cross was never used as a reference point

to decide when the law would end.

According to this text,

what is used as a reference point

to see when the law will end?

Until when?

Heaven and earth disappear, right?

I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear,

not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen,

will by any means disappear from the Law

until everything is accomplished.

So, according to this text,

the cross is not even mentioned as the demarcation

that the law is no longer applicable.

That the law is still applicable

until heaven and earth disappear.

Has heaven and earth disappeared yet?

No.

Until everything is accomplished.

This everything must also include;

there are many fulfilled prophecies,

but there are also many unfulfilled prophecies.

So, again, he’s (Joseph Prince) teaching heresy.

There are no clear statements

that say the cross decides that the law ends.

Nowhere.

Finally, in summary,

what Jesus is simply saying in Matthew 5:17-20,

I fulfil the law. I did not abolish them, V17.

And since they will be around for a long time, V18,

you had better obey them.

Right, remember, Joseph Prince say at the cross,

the law is no longer applicable.

But what did Jesus say in V18?

My law will be; I am paraphrasing it;

my law will be applicable

until heaven and earth passed away.

My law will be applicable

until everything is accomplished.

So, everything has not been accomplished.

Heaven and earth are still with us.

Therefore, the law is still here to stay.

Then V19, as that will determine

not only your position in the kingdom.;

remember, your attitude towards the law,

whether you obey, disobey,

will determine our status,

whether you are least or great.

But most importantly,

whether we could get in to the kingdom.

If we do not obey the law better than the Pharisees do,

Jesus say, we cannot enter the kingdom of God.

So, Joseph Prince is leading people,

just based on one verse, to hell

because he tells people no laws to obey;

means they disobey.

How can they make it to heaven?”

Since, Jesus never abolished the law

and said that the law is here to stay

until heaven and earth passed away,

Joseph Prince in saying that the law has been abolished,

is making Jesus a liar.

If Joseph Prince makes Jesus a liar

and leads people to hell

when he said there are no more laws to obey,

because Jesus said if we do not obey the law

better than the Pharisees do,

we cannot enter the kingdom of God,

how can he not be a heretic and a wolf in sheepskin?

Part 2: Joseph Prince’s only-grace & no-law teaching is doctrinal garbage – By Rev George Ong

In the sermon preached on 1 Sep 2024, 2 Sundays ago,

Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 10-second video:

“The law was until Jesus came

and then grace and truth came, Hallelujah.

So, the Bible says that the law was given through Moses

but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (Jn 1:17).

As encapsulated in the above,

the basic doctrinal argument of Joseph Prince

is that law was given by Moses under the Old Covenant.

In other words,

there is no grace but only law under the Old Covenant.

But when grace came through Jesus Christ,

the law was no more,

and we must not try to bring back the law

because Christ Himself only teaches truth not law,

as grace not law, now characterises the New Covenant.

From the start, let me assert

that Joseph Prince’s dispensational doctrine

of a strict demarcation

between Old Covenant Law and New Covenant Grace

is doctrinally erroneous.

There is no such strict demarcation

between the Old Covenant of law

and the New Covenant of grace,

as both law and grace

permeate both the Old Covenant and the New.

The God of the Old Testament

does not act differently from the God of the New

as Joseph Prince clearly suggests.

But the God of the Old Testament

behaves the same way

and is the same God of the New.

Such an erroneous teaching of Joseph Prince

is demolished by AW Tozer,

a well-regarded teacher of the word.

In ‘And He Dwelt Among Us,’

AW Tozer wrote:

“The suggestion that

the Old Testament is a book of law

and the New Testament a book of grace

is a false premise.

There is as much grace and mercy and love

in the Old Testament

as there is in the New.

There is more about hell in the New Testament

than there is in the Old.

When it comes to judgment

and the fury of God burning with fire (law)

upon simple men and simple creatures,

it is found in the New Testament,

not in the Old.

If you want excoriation, blisters and burns (law),

do not go to Jeremiah,

go to Jesus Christ.

The God of the Old Testament

is the God of the New,

and the Father of the Old Testament

is the Father of the New Testament.

The Christ who was made flesh to dwell among us

is the Christ who walked through all the pages of the Old Testament.

Was it the law that forgave David

when he committed his immoral sin (Old Testament)?

No, it was grace.

Was it grace that said,

“Babylon has fallen, the great harlot is fallen,

Babylon, is fallen” (New Testament)?

No, it was law.

… Grace precedes everything

– from the first day of creation

until the Virgin Mary gave birth in a Bethlehem manger.

For it was the grace of God in Christ

that saved the human race from extinction

when they sinned in the Garden.

It was the grace of God

in Jesus Christ yet to be born

that saved the eighth person

when the Flood covered the earth.

And it was the grace of God

in Jesus Christ yet to be born,

but existing in preincarnation glory,

that forgave David when he committed his sin;

that forgave Abraham when he lied;

that enabled Abraham

to pray God down to 10 righteous persons

when He was threatening to destroy Sodom;

that forgave Israel repeatedly.

It was the grace of God in Christ

yet before the Incarnation

that made God say (in the Old Testament),

“I have risen early in the morning

and stretched out My hands unto you.”

It made him say,

“Like as a father pitieth his children,

so the LORD pitieth them that fear him” (Psa 103:13).

Jesus is the channel through which grace comes.”

(End of AW Tozer’s quote)

So, the idea that law belongs to the Old Testament

and grace belongs to the New Testament,

which is the pet doctrine of Joseph Prince,

is plainly false.

Grace existed in both covenants.

Grace was manifested by God

through the law in the Old Testament,

and a greater grace was manifested

through Jesus in the New Testament, John 1:16-17.

Did we have grace in the Old Testament before the Lord Jesus?

Yes, most certainly.

There was an abundant display of grace

under the law of Moses.

It is significant to note that Moses,

the mediator of the Old Covenant

through whom the law was given,

found grace in the sight of God in Exodus 33:12:

Exodus 33:12 NKJV

12 Then Moses said to the Lord, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’

There was grace even in the giving of the law.

And you would begin to see that there was grace

even though the people had committed the sin of idolatry

by building the golden calf when the Law was given

– in that God displayed His grace even in His judgement:

Exodus 34:5-7 NIV

5 Then the Lord came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the Lord. 6 And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, 7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”

God had at first wanted to destroy the whole nation of Israel

and start anew with Moses.

If not for the pleading and intercession of Moses

on behalf of the Israelites

and if not for His grace,

God might have destroyed them.

Can you see the marvellous grace of God,

a God who is compassionate, slow to anger

and abounding in love,

that was displayed,

even in the midst of judging and punishing His people

at the giving of the law in Exodus 34:5-7?

The grace of God was shown in abundance

to the people under the Old Covenant.

Does Joseph Prince know that the word ‘grace’

was mentioned five times

in a short passage in Exodus 33:12-17?

Exodus 33:12-17 NKJV

12 Then Moses said to the Lord, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ 13 Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people.” 14 And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” 15 Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. 16 For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.” 17 So the Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.”

Is Joseph Prince aware that Exodus

is not in the New Testament but Old Testament?

Can you now see that Joseph Prince’s teaching

that the Old Covenant people

are under the law and not under grace,

while the New Covenant people

are under grace and not under the law,

is mere hogwash?

In Exodus 33:12-17,

Moses pleaded for God’s mercy to be shown to His people

based on His grace to him and the people.

Because God was gracious

to Moses in verses 12,13,16 and 17, and His people in verse 16,

God changed His mind about destroying His people

and promised that His presence would go with them.

God relented because of His grace

that was shown to Moses the law-giver.

God said to Moses,

“I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight…” verse 17.

So instead of wiping the whole nation off the face of the earth,

only 3,000 out of the roughly two million people

were destroyed by God.

Is that not due to the abounding and merciful grace of God?

Was there not grace under the Old Covenant?

Of course, there was!

Who says there is no grace in the Old Testament?

Joseph Prince has falsely taught

that the Old Covenant people in the Old Testament

were under the Covenant of law,

giving the impression

that they have hardly experienced God’s grace.

But as we shall see,

God’s grace was substantially portrayed

in the Old Testament, not just the New.

If one cares to look, it would not be long for him to discover

that God’s grace fills the pages of the Old Testament:

It was the grace of God

that preserved his people in Egypt

even though they were severely ill-treated.

It was the grace of God

that delivered His people from bondage in Egypt.

It was the grace of God

that opened the Red Sea and saved the Israelites

from the Egyptians who were pursuing to slaughter them.

It was the grace of God

that provided manna as food

for the entire nation for 40 years in the wilderness,

and their clothes didn’t wear out,

and their feet were well taken care of,

despite their disobedience.

It was the grace of God

that His people were given the law

to mark them as the privileged and chosen people of God.

It was the grace of God

to Moses (Ex 33:12,13,16,17) and His people (Ex 33:16)

that changed God’s mind about destroying His people

and promised that His presence would go with them.

It was the grace of God

that gave the Israelites victory over their enemies

to occupy Canaan, the Promised Land.

It was the grace of God

that judges were raised to deliver them

from the attacks of their enemies, time and time again

when the people cried out to Him for help,

even though these attacks were a result of their own sins.

It was the grace of God

that provided a way for the Old Covenant people

to commune with God through the tabernacle.

It was the grace of God

that provided the children of Israel a way to be cleansed

from their sins through the animal sacrifices.

“Grace is seen even in the Mosaic Law

– instead of condemning the one who sinned,

the offering of animal sacrifices

are the means of grace

to restore the transgressor

to a right relationship with God.”

We could go on and on…

All that could not have happened except for the grace of God.

Can you see how much of the grace of God

was present in the Old Testament?

The Apostle John himself said

that this display of grace in the Old Testament

was pointing to the greater grace

that was incarnate in the person of Christ

in the New Testament in John 1:16:

John 1:16 NIV

16 “Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.”

So, it is crystal clear

that grace existed in the Old Testament before Jesus.

Here is the difference, though.

Grace existed before Jesus under the Old Covenant,

but the means of grace was Jesus in the New Covenant.

The cross was the pinnacle

in the manifestation of the grace of Christ for man

in the New Covenant.

Grace had already existed in the mind of God

before the foundation of the world

and was demonstrated through the law of Moses,

but the plan was manifested fully and completely through Jesus.

Thus, grace and law are complementary allies,

working together in unveiling the grand, gracious and glorious salvation

that God had planned out before the beginning of time.

Joseph Prince, in trying to pit grace against law,

is undermining the scriptures

and working against the grand purpose of God.

This only goes to show that

Joseph Prince’s strict demarcation

between the God in the Old Covenant of law,

and the God in the New Covenant of grace,

is false.

In the Old Testament,

God unleashed His judgement and wrath

against His Old Covenant people

during their Sinai wanderings for disobeying Him.

Yet, on another occasion,

God displayed His mercy and grace

when He sent Jonah to preach

to the wicked people of Nineveh.

In the New Testament,

God showed His mercy and grace

by sending His Son to die for the sins of the world.

Yet, in the same New Testament,

He warned about

His coming judgement and wrath

which was further spelled out

in chilling and gory details

in the Book of Revelation.

God has chosen to display His law and wrath

not just in the Old Testament but also the New.

In the New Testament,

Romans 1:18 tells us that the wrath of God

is being displayed (present tense) against the world,

and the world is now under the wrath of God:

Romans 1:18 NIV

“The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness.”

The Apostle Paul warns in Romans 1:18

that God’s law and wrath has already been poured out

and is still being poured out on this present world.

Joseph Prince has deceived the multitudes

that Paul is only a preacher of grace and not wrath.

He is plainly going against the scriptures.

By perusing the numerous texts in Paul’s epistles,

it is utterly clear that

Paul is not only a preacher of grace

but he is also a preacher of wrath:

Romans 2:5,8 NIV

5 “But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.” 8 “But for those… who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.”

Romans 5:9 NIV

9 “Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!”

Romans 9:22 NIV

22 “What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath – prepared for destruction?”

Ephesians 2:3 NIV

3 “… gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.”

Ephesians 5:6 NIV

6 “Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.”

Colossians 3:5-6 NIV

5 “Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.”

1 Thessalonians 1:10 NIV

10 “and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead – Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.”

1 Thessalonians 2:16 NIV

16 “… In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last.”

God Himself will unleash His greatest wrath

against the ungodly at the coming of His Son, Christ Jesus,

in the New Covenant

as the Book of Revelation reveals:

Revelation 6:16-17 NIV

16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!” 17 “For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”

Revelation 11:18 NIV

18 “The nations were angry, and your wrath has come…”

Revelation 14:10 NIV

10 “they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.

Revelation 15:1 NIV

1 “I saw in heaven another great and marvelous sign: seven angels with the seven last plagues – last, because with them God’s wrath is completed.”

Revelation 15:7 NIV

7 “Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.”

Revelation 16:1 NIV

1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go, pour out the seven bowls of God’s wrath on the earth.”

Revelation 16:19 NIV

19 “The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath.”

Revelation 14:19 NIV

19 “The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath.”

Revelation 19:15 NIV

15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.

Is Revelation an Old or New Testament book?

Revelation is a New Testament book.

And His law and wrath

would be most fiercely and dreadfully poured out

at the second coming of Christ in the Book of Revelation.

Just as God’s love is lavishly displayed in the Old Testament,

God’s wrath will climax in the New in Revelation.

There is nothing as horrifying in the Old Testament

than the New Testament in Revelation,

that portrays this terrifying image

of the great winepress of God’s wrath,

crushing sinners mercilessly like grapes

in Revelation 14:19 and 19:15.

George Ong wrote:

“The God of love and wrath

is the same God

in the Old Testament and the New

– the only difference is as compared to the Old,

God’s grace is expressed in greater immensity

at the start of the New,

but God’s wrath is expressed in harsher proportions

at the close of it.”

So, Joseph Prince’s teaching

that while law is demonstrated in the Old Testament,

and grace is displayed in the New Testament

cannot stand the test of scriptures.

The truth is, both law and grace

are displayed both in the Old Testament and the New.

In conclusion,

Joseph Prince’s strict demarcation

between Old Covenant law & New Covenant grace

is false.

His grace doctrine that

God is only a God of law in the Old Covenant,

and therefore, He judged the Old Covenant people,

and God is only a God of grace in the New Covenant,

and hence, He cannot judge New Covenant people,

is decisively debunked.

What ought to be upheld in the scriptures is the doctrine that

God is a God of grace and law,

both under the Old Covenant as well as the New.

Part 3: Joseph Prince’s unrepentant and persistent double-talking is intolerable – By Rev George Ong

In the sermon on 1 Sep 2024, 2 Sundays ago,

Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 10-second video:

“The law was until Jesus came

and then grace and truth came, Hallelujah.

What Joseph Prince is saying

is that before Jesus Christ, the people were under law,

but grace came with and through Jesus Christ

in the gospels.

Yet, in another sermon, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 15-second video:

“… Matthew, Mark, Luke and John

is Jesus still under the law.

All his disciples

were under Law.”

What’s going on?

One moment,

Joseph Prince said that grace

came through Jesus Christ in the gospels.

The next moment,

Joseph Prince said Jesus and His disciples

were still under law

in the gospels.

How can Joseph Prince,

who keeps using John 1:17,

to teach that New Covenant grace came through Jesus Christ

to promote his own grace doctrine

for New Covenant believers,

and say at the same time

that the same Jesus who came to give New Covenant grace in John 1:17

was actually under the Old Covenant law in the gospels?

Can you beat that?

Blatant and shameless self-contradiction!

This is double-talking and self-contradiction

of the highest order!

When there is an internal contradiction in a preacher’s doctrine,

you can literally throw out that doctrine through the window.

Joseph Prince has to come forward and admit, publicly,

that one of either of his teachings is false,

as both cannot be true at one and the same time.

If Joseph Prince is unwilling, due to his sin of pride,

then you and I have every right to call him a serial double-talker

as he has committed this same error ‘countless’ of times.

So how can anyone in his right mind

considers and esteems a serial double-talker, Joseph Prince,

to be a true teacher of God’s word?

Part 4: Joseph Prince’s grace is supply and law is demand is mere hogwash – By Rev George Ong

In the sermon preached on 1 Sep 2024, 2 Sundays ago,

Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 10-second video:

Joseph Prince said:

“The law was until Jesus came

and then grace and truth came, Hallelujah.

Supply came.

Grace is supply.

Think of grace as supply.

And law is demand, demand.”

In other words,

Joseph Prince is saying

that the Old Covenant demand of the law existed

until Jesus came.

And when Jesus came,

He brought with him the New Covenant supply of grace.

Joseph Prince, can you give just one text

that supports your

‘New Covenant grace is supply

and Old Covenant law is demand’

teaching?

You can bet that he can’t produce even one.

Friends, let it be known that there isn’t any text

that underpins such doctrinal rubbish.

But there are texts that contradict such a principle.

The strict demands and requirements

on the covenantal people of God apply

regardless of whether they are in the Old or the New Covenant.

The truth is, the strict demands and requirements of obedience

on the Old Covenant people

are somewhat similar to the uncompromising demands

that the Lord Jesus, who is God Himself

requires of New Covenant believers in Luke 14:25-27 and 33

and Revelation 2:10:

Luke 14:25-27,33 NIV

25 Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said: 26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters – yes, even their own life – such a person cannot be my disciple. 27 And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.” 33 “In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples.”

Revelation 2:10 NIV

10 “Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.”

Jesus demands a 100 percent loyalty

from New Covenant believers

that transcends even our closest family and friends.

He calls for our total commitment and ultimate allegiance,

which requires our willingness

to lay down our lives on the altar of sacrifice.

So, who says the Old Covenant God is stricter in His demands

than what the New Testament God requires?

In fact, from a certain perspective,

the demands and requirements of the New Covenant

are even more exacting than the Old.

While there are many promises of wealth and prosperity

to Old Covenant people,

the New Covenant believers

are warned not to be covetous of wealth

and to expect suffering, persecution and even martyrdom

as a typical norm of their Christian Faith.

Furthermore, while the Old Testament

has a massive 613 dos and don’ts,

including the Ten Commandments,

many believers aren’t even aware

that the New Testament has even more.

In the New Testament,

there are about 1,100 dos and don’ts,

nearly twice as many as the Old Testament.

The New Testament contains 1,100 things for us to do and not do,

and that’s part of the demands placed on New Testament believers.

On the other hand,

some of the greatest displays

of the supply of God’s grace and mercy

was not in the New Testament

but the Old Testament,

when God saved the entire city of Nineveh,

a city of more than 120,000 wicked people,

from destruction:

Jonah 4:11 NIV

11 “And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left – and also many animals?”

Even Peter’s preaching on the Day of Pentecost

pales in comparison.

Peter’s preaching at Pentecost, as great as it may be,

brought only 3,000 people (by comparison) into the Kingdom.

But Jonah’s preaching

brought the entire city of more than 120,000 people,

including the king to be converted.

Who says the supply of the grace of God

is only experienced in the New Testament?

Who says the supply of the grace of God

isn’t evident in the Old Testament?

God is a God of grace

both in the Old and the New Testament.

In fact, His supply of grace that was displayed

in the case of Nineveh in the Old Testament

was much more abundant and far more bountiful

than many instances in the New Testament.

So, Joseph Prince’s teaching

that grace in the New Covenant is supply

and law in the Old Covenant is demand

is exposed to be pure garbage

to be tossed out of the window.

“Now I know why Joseph Prince forbids his book stall

to sell Derek Prince’s books.

I am a Singaporean church pastor

and it’s really sad that Joseph

has propagated his grace teachings

from Singapore to the world!

When a preacher preaches,

he has a message to his listeners.

So, Joseph designed his messages

with an ungodly motivation to bring in the crowds!

So sad!”

@alfredchoo2470

“Joseph Prince’s teachings

seem to have a certain witchcraft power behind them.

I had attended New Creation Church service many years ago.

After a while, I can sense

that I am beginning to develop a spiritual pride in me

as I feel that I am a better Christian

than others from other churches

because I am the righteousness of God in Christ.

There are many New Creation Churchgoers

who simply refused to listen to sermons from other preachers

and think that Joseph Prince’s teachings are the best!

I felt that something was seriously wrong

and I prayed to the Lord for discernment.

I then had a vision of a snake demon

and the word “WITCHCRAFT”

flashed across my mind.

I repented and stopped attending their services immediately.

Over the years, I slowly began to see what exactly is wrong

with his hyper-Grace doctrine and effortless Christianity.

As Pastor George Ong has rightly pointed out,

Joseph Prince only harps on Justification

or Salvation grace,

but ignore completely Sanctification

or covenant relationship grace.”

@TeoMengHinMengHin

@Mel-jp7fh-i6u, thank you.

Let’s continue to give our full support to this channel.

I can see that Rev George Ong

has put in so much time and effort into this channel.

And also, not forgetting all the persecution

that has come his way.

It’s not easy to expose and dislodge a false preacher

who has already gained worldwide fame.”

@christopherloh936

“Actually, can Joseph Prince provide proof of healings

that the blind see again,

the paralysed in wheelchair walk again,

terminal cancer patients healed in his church?”

@TheGreenPastures

“Lies can be formed in a day

but it takes years of effort

to eradicate lies that are rooted in many victims’ mind.

Even the one, such as Joseph Prince

who created those lies at certain point in time

also believed his own lies as true.”

@lindakoo5221

“Thank you, Rev George Ong,

for being Joseph Prince’s chief critic.

You will not labour in vain in the Lord.

Joseph Prince is not committed to Scripture.

Week in, week out,

though he may speak of Jesus and the Father,

the heart of his ministry is not in the Word of God.

He will either add to it, take away from it,

interpreting it in some heretical fashion,

add other “revelations” to it, or deny it altogether;

Joseph Prince introduced destructive heresies,

blatantly preached a watered-down gospel and half-truths

which is not God-centred so much so

that many undiscerning believers in his congregation

have been brainwashed, deceived and manipulated.

Joseph Prince is certainly a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Joseph Prince is definitely under a double curse

because he is still recalcitrantly unrepentant.”

@ronpinngapinnga

“As a commenter rightly pointed out,

Joseph Prince is putting words in our mouths

when he said we despise grace.

He preaches as if he is the only one in the world

who knows what grace is.

We know what grace is.

That’s why we know Joseph Prince is preaching

a heretical sugar-coated grace

that opens doors to moral laxity.

Paul preaches grace but significantly,

Paul does not preach grace

the way Joseph Prince is preaching.

Paul’s object was noble.

He was not eyeing the fame and financial bonanza

that come from pulling in huge crowds.

Otherwise, he would have preached grace

the way Joseph Prince is preaching.

Joseph Prince made a selfish, self-promotional statement

when he said in a recent sermon

that Paul’s teaching is all about grace.

That’s a half-truth.

Paul teaches more than that.

In fact, Paul expresses deep concern and sorrow

over savage wolves, who will come to distort the truth.

For three years, he never stopped warning the church

at Ephesus night and day with tears.

So, did Joseph Prince warn the church with tears

or is he savouring financial fruits from his grace teaching?”

@Mel-jp7fh-i6u

“@jamesow5163

It’s one of Joseph Prince’s most subtle and deadly lies.

That’s why God has to raise Rev George Ong

to expose and rebuke such leviathian deception

at such a time as this.”

@unbiasyoutuber7117

“I am so embarrassed.

I was with New Creation Church

due to laziness in reading the Bible,

and I was led astray by Joseph Prince for 2 years.

Fortunately, my Bible foundation

could still withstand falsehood.

The Holy Spirit keeps alerting me that something is off.

That’s why I left New Creation Church,

and now is with a scripture-based church.

Bible warnings of false teachers are so real!”

@estherbhagat7082

“I used to listen to Joseph Prince,

day in and day out for nearly a decade.

Thanks be to GOD for opening my eyes.

I have stopped listening to him.”

@alfredchoo2470

“If Grace is all about the finished work of Christ

and there’s no more effort on our part,

then the Holy Spirit is redundant.

There’s no need for sanctification

and dying in the flesh anymore

as we are all justified by faith.

That’s indirectly a blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.”

@vijayrem-mn6id

“He is craftily selfish,

using Martin Luther’s name to promote and exalt himself

as Rev George Ong has shown here.

So, what’s Joseph Prince’s commandments

from his prosperity god

since he has shown scant respect and reverence

for the holiness of God

as reflected in the Ten Commandments?

Based on his preaching, these must be

1. Thou shall lie until die

2. Thou shall bring thy half-truths to thy grave.

3. Thou shall give me money

4. Thou shall hear my sermons and buy my cds only

5. Thou must not seek medical advice. Only eat biscuits and drink.

What else?”

@joyceliew4352

Joseph Prince said that he is against sin,

and he didn’t give anyone a licence to sin.

Yet, he did not realise he was all the while sinning

by not telling The True Word of God Sunday after Sunday.

Not only he has sinned against God

but he has also caused the multitudes to follow his path.

Joseph Prince is teaching many to accept The Word of God

according to his own interpretation

and not according to what the Bible teaches.”

@jamesteo9165

“Joseph Prince craves for attention and applause from men.

That’s why he likes to preach beyond his time on Sundays,

recycling his teachings and doesn’t want to stop

even when he has nothing left to say.”

@flowercolourful4718

“Hi Nicole (our critic), I did attend New Creation Church

for a period years back.

I did enjoy Pastor Joseph Prince’s preaching very much

because he is very lively and humorous.

But as I read the Bible on my own,

I found discrepancy after discrepancy.

So, I stopped attending New Creation Church.

It will be good if you carefully go through those verses

that Rev George Ong spoke on.

Let those verses speak to you.

But if your mind and heart are closed,

then you will not see through Joseph Prince

– that his teaching is very shallow

and it’s all about feeling good, easy life,

blessed to be rich and cheap salvation.

Please note

“a half-truth gospel is a false gospel

and does not save.”

It is all up to you now.”

@LuiSieh

“Another great insightful teaching by Rev George.

Believers and Christ’s followers

should also familiarize themselves with Chuck Swindoll

who also preaches and teaches

with similar directness and clarity.”

@user-qi8rv4ez7u

“Because New Creation Church’s followers

don’t have the breadth and depth of Bible knowledge

of Rev George Ong’s,

they easily believe everything Joseph Prince says.

They think they will gain sufficient Bible knowledge

by just hearing and trusting Joseph Prince’s words.

In reality, the knowledge so acquired is not God-breathed

but solely Joseph Prince-breathed.

It’s sad that they don’t have the thirst and hunger

for the true Word,

resting complacently in Joseph Prince’s words.”

@user-hd7qv8dx7x

“Actually, it’s pure hypocrisy.

In New Creation Church, the kid’s church teachers

and volunteers have to do, do, do.

Not only that, but also must tithe. Pure legalism!

The ushers and other ministries workers must also tithe!”

@TeoMengHinMengHin

“John Bevere was in fact invited to New Creation Church

by Joseph Prince

to preach one Sunday in the late 90s.

I was there and after preaching his message,

we queued up to let him autograph his latest book called

‘The Bait Of Satan.’

During his preaching that morning,

he mentioned some relatives of his who died

and was in hell due to the sin of unforgiveness.

He told us we must forgive others as well

because God has also forgiven us

and we must confess our sins, if any.

Here comes the drama.

The next Sunday, Pastor Joshua came to the pulpit

and told us not to believe what John Bevere had said

because God is a gracious God

and will not send His children to hell.

New Creation Church believes ‘once saved always saved’

and they regretted inviting John Bevere to speak in the church.

Pastor Joshua is no longer with New Creation Church.

Back then, New Creation Church was a relatively small church

of about 1000-strong, if I can recall correctly.

Joseph Prince was not well known then

and he was driving a BMW 7 Series.

I agreed with John Bevere as he was teaching

about the fear of the Lord.

Yes, we must deny SELF and live a sanctified life

that is pleasing to the Lord.

Joseph Prince used to say

right believing leads to right living.

But to have right believing one needs right teaching first,

then right believing will follow

and eventually right living will take place.”

@WordsofGodThe

“Joseph Prince says,

“Some people despise grace. The moment they hear you preach grace, they say you are telling people Oh, it’s ok license to sin..”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZ5SJelYMc8&t=157s

What is license to sin?

Is there such thing called license to sin?

In the Bible, you will notice that the devil, Pharisees,

hypocrites, and false prophets

all want to give you the license to sin;

but, they never say it’s ok to sin or license to sin.

In fact, they tell you not to sin.

However, secretly they would promote a philosophy,

belief, confession, grace, or lawlessness (no more law)

as a subtle form of license to sin.

Today, no one will preach license to sin openly too,

but you can certainly find the same type of philosophy,

confession, grace, or hypocrisy

that promotes subtle form of license to sin.

Why?

It’s because normally this type of philosophy or confession

will help the sinning hypocrites or liars

to hide their conscience, and hide behind the naive

or foolish believers in the churches too.

Joseph Prince is providing such an environment

for these people so that they can team up

to fight against those

who oppose their hypocrisy, lawlessness, and sin.

That’s why Joseph Prince and New Creation Church

will slowly become a ‘center’ of such philosophy,

grace, or hypocrisy that will welcome mostly such people

and become more and more vocal against law, repentance,

sanctification, and holiness teaching too.

So, it is actually true when he said that

“the moment he preaches grace, ‘some people’ know that he is preaching license to sin”.

Yes, we are certain that he is preaching grace

as a license to sin;

however, it is not true that we despise grace.

In fact, all those who are against his philosophy or grace

do not despise grace because they know the Bible warning:

Jude 1:3-4 KJV

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common SALVATION, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. (4) For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the GRACE of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Do you know why we need to be diligent?

It’s because the wrong philosophy, belief, or grace

cannot save.

Do you know what we need to be diligent about?

Conmen or liars who have no conscience of sin

will preach grace as though they are the God’s preachers of grace,

but actually, they are preachers of ‘another grace’

– which is a subtle form of license to sin!”
