Announcement No 2

Just imagine,

after clearing quite a heavy load of rubbish

in Joseph Prince’s sermon

on 12 May 2024, 5 days ago,

in my 4 Articles on this website this week,

there’s still so much left over

in the same sermon to clear.

I think I should start charging Joseph Prince for a fee.

Come this Sunday, 2 days later,

at the New Creation Church worship service,

will be another load of rubbish

that Joseph Prince would spew out of his mouth.

Excerpt No 1 from the Article:

If you compare the outrageous Antinomian doctrine of sin

that Joseph Prince taught in the 3 videos

with the scriptures,

and co-relate it with what Martyn Lloyd-Jones said

in his teachings (see below)

– and if that cannot convince you

that Joseph Prince is an Antinomian and a Heretic,

nothing else would.

Excerpt No 2 from the Article:

George Ong’s comments:

By what Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:

“Antinomianism

– one of the greatest curses conceivable!”

Joseph Prince

has not only brought curses on himself

but has also brought curses on the millions

who have been bought into his Antinomian teachings.

Excerpt No 3 from the Article:

Finally, why do you think

Joseph Prince is able to hook

the multitudes of goats into his camp?

This is because goats

are looking for the ultimate feel-good theology

that when you sin,

it’s not you who have sinned, but your flesh

– whatever sin,

thoughts of anger, blasphemous thoughts,

adultery, covetousness – gambling in buying Toto, etc;

just ignore it and get on with life

because you are the righteousness of God in Christ.

In a sermon on 12 May 2024, 5 days ago,

Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 30-second video:

“Look at what you just did.

You watch something you shouldn’t have watch.

Call yourself a believer.

And Pastor Prince says you are born again.

Wow, set on high.

Look at what you just did.

It’s all senses.

You got to step out of it

and say that’s not me.”

In another sermon, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 40-second video:

“So, actually,

even that part of you that love to sin, is gone.

Doesn’t that help you?

When you take Communion,

you have bad thoughts, or whatever,

just say, it’s gone;

it’s not the real me.

But some of us, we are shocked by even the thoughts.

While we are praying,

we get a blasphemous thought, a profane thought

– it’s not you.

It’s not you.

The devil says, ‘No, it’s you.’

It’s not you.

You are not in the flesh

but in the Spirit.

Identify with the real you

that God identifies with.”

In yet another sermon, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 1-minute video:

“Has God made provision for us?

Indeed, he has. Hallelujah. Amen.

Like the apostle Paul,

he was struggling in this struggle

and he was saying (Rom 7:19 KJV):

‘You know, the good I want to do, I do it not,

but the evil I don’t want to do, I am doing.’ (Romans 7:20 KJV):

Now if I do that which I don’t want to do,

it shows that it is not me;

it’s not I that do it.

It sounds like a copout,

but Paul is saying the real me

is not the one involved

because the real me is not the flesh.

The real me is in the spirit, the new creation. Right.

Pastor, when the feeling come, temptation,

I feel anger and all that. You stop.

And I’m telling you this, rejoice.

Rejoice because you will not bow to the lie

that you are this sin.

You are this sin

and then God sees you in that sin.

No.

God separates you from that sin.

Woo, I say,

‘God separates you from that sin.’

Just ignore it.

Leave it alone. Amen.

And when it stirs up, don’t act on it, Amen.

It’s a lie.

That feeling is a lie.

That’s not me.

That’s not me.

No.

This is not me.

In a teaching session, George Ong said;

Please click here

to view the 1-minute video:

“‘As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it

but it is sin living in me.

Now if I do what I do not want to do,

it is no longer I who do it

but it is sin living in me that does it.’

Is it, when Paul said it is no longer I,

it is still I

because you cannot blame;

that’s what Joseph Prince, terrible,

you know how he twists this verse.

He says if you have thoughts of sinful thinking, whatever,

you want to do something, desires,

oh, it’s not you, it’s not you, not you.

Who is the real you?

You are the righteousness of God in Christ.

That’s the real you.

God sees us, He only see Christ in us.

He doesn’t see the sin in us.

So, when you think bad thoughts

or bad desires, you know,

it’s not you.

It’s your flesh.

It’s your old man.

That’s very terrible, you know.

You are trying to say.

Let’s say I murder somebody.

Oh, it’s not me.

I murder,

It’s not me.

It’s my old man.

You go and tell that to the judge.

He sends you to the gallows.

It’s not me.

That’s the teaching he teaches.

It’s not you.

You are saved already.

You are forever saved.

You cannot lose your salvation.

That’s the real you.

That’s your new identity.

Then when you sin, no, no,

that’s not (you),

that’s your old man.

That’s your flesh.

It’s very dangerous.”

Are you shocked at what Joseph Prince said

in the videos?

In the 3 videos, Joseph Prince teaches

that when a believer sins,

it is not the real him who sins but his ‘flesh’.

If a believer who embraced Joseph Prince’s doctrine of sin,

sinned by committing murder

(who says true believers cannot commit murder?

– David, the person after God’s own heart did,

and Moses, the revered leader of the Israelites,

and one through whom the holy law of God was given, did too),

can he get off the hook by defending himself

and say that it was not the real him

who murdered somebody,

but it was his flesh who sinned

because his flesh, did it?

If another believer who is convinced

by Joseph Prince’s doctrine of sin,

sinned by committing adultery

(who says true believers cannot commit adultery?

– David, the person after God’s own heart did),

can he get off the hook by defending himself

and say that it was not the real him

who committed adultery,

but it was his flesh who sinned

because his flesh, did it?

Do you realise what the grossly warped doctrine on sin

that Joseph Prince teaches can lead to?

This is outrageous!

Joseph Prince’s doctrine of sin

is bordering on madness!

Joseph Prince may argue that the many examples he quoted

in the 3 videos are sins of the mind;

about what you shouldn’t be watching,

feelings of anger,

blasphemous and profane thoughts, etc.

And Joseph Prince said that these sins

do not come from the real you

but your flesh.

Then Joseph Prince said

because they don’t come from the real you

but your flesh,

you are to ignore them and leave them alone.

But doesn’t Joseph Prince know

(or he pretends not to know)

that these sins of the mind

and the actual carrying out of such sins, are the same

as far as the scriptures

and the Lord Jesus is concerned

(Matt 5:21, 27-30; 15:18-20; 23:25-28, etc)?

That if a believer’s mind is filled with such evil thoughts,

and if they are not dealt with,

he may one day carry them out in practice!

Hence, what you have heard from Joseph Prince

in these 3 videos,

is not only doctrinally horrifying,

but also demonically influenced and incited.

In an interview session, Michael Brown said;

Please click here

to view the 40-second video:

“There are some who even teach this

because my spirit is perfect in God’s sight

and my spirit doesn’t sin,

that I don’t really sin when I sin.

That it’s just my flesh and I’m not my flesh.

One teacher said this,

we are not our sins,

so that’s not what God’s looking at.

He’s looking at the whole person.

If sin is not an issue,

why does almost every letter

in the New Testament deal with it.”

The false teachings that Michael Brown brought out;

“There are some who even teach this

because my spirit is perfect in God’s sight

and my spirit doesn’t sin,

that I don’t really sin when I sin.

That it’s just my flesh and I’m not my flesh,”

is exactly what Joseph Prince teaches.

In the light of such abhorrent teachings of Joseph Prince,

don’t miss the insightful teachings of Martyn Lloyd-Jones

as he described with a pinhole accuracy

the Antinomian heresies of Joseph Prince

as contained in the 3 videos.

If you compare the outrageous Antinomian doctrine of sin

that Joseph Prince taught in the 3 videos

with the scriptures,

and co-relate it with what Martyn Lloyd-Jones said

in his teachings (see below)

– and if that cannot convince you

that Joseph Prince is an Antinomian and a Heretic,

nothing else would.

In ‘An exposition of Romans Chapters 7:1-8:4,

The Law: Its Functions and Limits’,

Martyn Lloyd-Jones,

commenting on Romans 7:16-20, said:

Romans 7:19-20 NIV

19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do – this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

“What, then, is the Apostle concerned to say in all this?

Let me put it in the form of three conclusions.

First, he is not disclaiming responsibility

for his actions or even excusing himself.

That is something that we must never do.

But there have been people who have done so,

and it has involved them

in the most terrible and ‘damnable heresies’.

To what has it led?

It has led to Antinomianism

which has made them say,

‘Ah, it is not I who am sinning,

it is my flesh that is sinning;

I am not responsible,

I do not want to sin,

therefore, it is not I who am doing these things’.

George Ong’s Interjection:

Martyn Lloyd-Jones has accurately described

the Antinomian heresy that Joseph Prince teaches

in the 3 videos, particularly the one

when Joseph Prince states from the same passage

in Romans 7:19-20,

that it isn’t the believer who sins,

but his flesh that does.

Martyn Lloyd-Jones aptly labelled Antinomianism

that Joseph Prince teaches

as the most terrible and ‘damnable heresy’.

Back to Martyn Lloyd-Jones:

They use the language of the Apostle

but in a very different way from the Apostle.

They do it to excuse sin;

they go on sinning

and say that it does not matter what a man does.

There was a teaching called ‘Dualism’ in the early Church,

which said that sin belonged only to the body.

It claimed that that was apostolic teaching;

that the man himself was saved,

it was only his body that was sinning,

and as the body was going to die in any case,

it did not really matter whether he sinned or not.

‘I do not sin’, they said,

‘it is my body that is sinning’.”

… The Apostle Paul is not excusing the man

he describes here (Rom 7:16-20),

he is not disclaiming responsibility for himself;

what he is doing is to make a confession.

He is virtually saying:

‘That is the truth about me,

that is the weakness in which I find myself,

that is the paralysis that I am aware of;

that is my useless struggle.’

He does not say,

‘All is well, and it does not matter what I do’.

No, he wants to get out of this condition,

as he will tell us later when he says,

‘O wretched man that I am who shall deliver me?’

It is the exact opposite of the foul teaching of Dualism,

and the dangerous trap of Antinomianism.

… Such antinomianism is always the greatest enemy

of the doctrines of grace.

“Antinomianism is one of the most blinding curses

that has ever afflicted the life of the Church.

It troubled the early Church,

and it has continued to do so ever since.”

George Ong’s comments:

Notice the difference in response.

While Martyn Lloyd-Jones said

we should not make excuses for our own sins

but confess them in Romans 7:19-20,

Joseph Prince justifies himself

by saying it is not the real him that sinned

but the flesh that is in him.

What Martyn Lloyd-Jones said

accurately depicts the Antinomian doctrine

that Joseph Prince teaches in the videos.

Let me repeat the damning words

of Martyn Lloyd-Jones

against the Antinomian teaching of Joseph Prince:

… Such antinomianism is always the greatest enemy

of the doctrines of grace.

“Antinomianism is one of the most blinding curses

that has ever afflicted the life of the Church.

It troubled the early Church,

and it has continued to do so ever since.”

In ‘Life in Christ, Volume 5, Life in God, Studies in 1 John’,

Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:

“Likewise with the people

who are guilty of antinomianism,

who say that such things do not matter to the Christian,

and who say that because they are Christians,

their actions, as it were, are irrelevant

– that it is the flesh that sinned,

not themselves.”

George Ong’s Interjection:

Martyn Lloyd-Jones is spot on again.

What Lloyd-Jones said

is what the Antinomian Joseph Prince

had stated in the videos

– that it isn’t believers who sinned

but it is the flesh in them that did it.

Back to Martyn Lloyd-Jones:

‘Oh no!’ says John; ‘all unrighteousness is sin;

anything which we ourselves recognise

as unworthy or imperfect is sin and nothing else.

You must not call it weakness or indiscretion

– it is sin; it is a violation of God’s law,

and anything that is a violation of God’s law is sin.’”

In ‘Life in Christ, Volume 3, Children of God, Studies in 1 John’,

Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:

“Or let me put it like this:

we know that we are children of God

when we are deeply aware of sin within.

I emphasise that deliberately.

It is only the children of God

who realise that they have a sinful nature.

The unregenerate, the natural men and women,

are not aware of a sinful nature.

They may admit that they do certain things

which they should not do,

but begin to tell them that they have a sinful nature,

that they are dead in trespasses and sins,

and they will hate you and begin to defend themselves;

they hate preaching that condemns them.”

… No, it is only the children of God

who realise that they have an utterly sinful nature.

It is only a saint like Charles Wesley who says,

‘Vile and full of sin I am.’

It was Saint Paul who said,

‘For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh),

dwelleth no good thing’ (Romans 7:18).

It is the Christian who cries out and says,

‘O wretched man that I am!

who shall deliver me from the body of this death?’ (Romans 7:24).

George Ong’s Interjection:

Did you notice the way Martyn Lloyd-Jones

described how true believers ought to be ‘sin-conscious’

in that they are aware of their sins,

is the opposite of what Joseph Prince said

in the 3 videos

– that when we sin, it’s not us

but our flesh who sinned

– a total denial of personal responsibility when we sin.

Back to Martyn Lloyd-Jones:

An unregenerate “believer”

has never uttered such words

and never can – it is impossible.

It is the indwelling Holy Spirit

that exposes our sinful nature

and the depths of sin and iniquity

that reside in our hearts.

‘The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?’ says Jeremiah (Jeremiah 17:9). ‘I dare not trust my sweetest frame,’ says the hymn-writer.

All these things are indications of the new nature

– an awareness of sin and above all a desire to be rid of it.

If you are hating the sin within you

and longing to be delivered and emancipated from it,

I assure you, you are a child of God

– it is one of the best signs.”

George Ong’s comments:

By what Martyn Lloyd-Jones has described,

Joseph Prince fits the bill of an unbeliever

rather than a believer.

In ‘Fellowship with God, Life in Christ: Volume One, Studies in 1 John’,

Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:

“So, if we do something that is wrong,

it is not we who have sinned,

the sin is merely in the flesh.

Hence the heresy known as antinomianism,

which means that as long as you are a Christian

and claim you know God in Christ,

it is immaterial what you do,

because you do not sin,

it is the flesh or body that sins.”

In ‘Exposition of Romans Chapter 9, God’s Sovereign Purpose,’

Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:

“Antinomianism!

It was rampant in the early church.

Antinomianism

– one of the greatest curses conceivable!”

George Ong’s comments:

Martyn Lloyd-Jones has described with a pinhole accuracy

the Antinomian teachings that Joseph Prince

has unfolded in the videos.

By what Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:

“Antinomianism

– one of the greatest curses conceivable!”

Joseph Prince

has not only brought curses on himself

but has also brought curses on the millions

who have been bought into his Antinomian teachings.

Finally, why do you think

“Joseph Prince’s mentor, Paul the apostle, was bald

according to traditions.

Maybe, I didn’t study the Bible well,

I could not find Paul speaking to his hair to grow.”

@cutecuteoldold

“Joseph Prince, the best you can do

is to stop preaching and repent!

You do not know the Word of God,

Yet, you and your ‘ya ya’ way

preach whatever the spirit of deception tells you.

You think George Ong is your enemy?

No, he is just exposing your deception.

It takes for a courageous man of God to call you out.

May New Creation Church be people of the Word

and not a cultic church.”

@tanky815

“One thing I noticed about con artiste,

like Joseph Prince;

they are shamelessly bold;

can lie openly without blinking an eyelid;

with lots of conviction.”

@WordsofGodThe

“I am not against magic or magicians.

I talk about the magicians

because Joseph Prince gives me the impression

that he preaches the gospel

as though he is performing magic

or performing as a magician,

as though he believes in everything that he performs,

as though it is true,

as though he can lie or deceive with no lying conscience,

as though he is justified to do all the lying tricks,

as though he can collect your money

because of his ‘sacred’ performance,

as though you are under his control,

as though .. you know what I mean.

It means that, when he preaches the gospel with lies,

he has rationalized himself

to do it WITHOUT FEAR and GUILT

even if he knows that he is deceiving you.

That’s why his gaze at you is so confident,

so calm, so serious,

and yet so convincing with his lies, heresies, and double-talks.

However, deep down inside,

he knows that he is definitely lying.

I believe that many world-renowned magicians or illusionists

might dream to have that kind of confidence,

gaze, poses, and conviction

that can fool everyone.

However, I believe that many of them

cannot reach that level

which is enjoyed by Joseph Prince

as he mesmerized millions to see his ‘show’

and willingly give away most of their money

(if not all their money).

It is something spiritual;

not only mental and psychosomatic.

It involves all the spirit of magic

together with the spirit of darkness,

principalities, and power

including the spirit of lawlessness

to capture the hearts and minds of the people.

That’s why a world-renowned illusionist

like David Copperfield

would lose to Joseph Prince.

David Copperfield could only perform and sell his tickets

limited by the number of seats

in the auditoriums and stadiums;

but Joseph Prince

can ‘sell’ unlimited number of partnership ‘tickets’

to the whole world

and the price of those ‘tickets’

might range from the minimum of $1,000 onwards.

Nobody knows how many ‘tickets’ he has sold,

but judging from how successful

he can play with the ‘magics’ and ‘spirits’,

I suspect he has already become a millionaire (or multi-millionaire).

If you ask him, “Why would you do that?”

He will tell you,

“What’s wrong?

If King David and David Copperfield

can prosper without Jesus,

why can’t I prosper too?

I should prosper even more with Jesus!!!”

Obviously, this came from the same spirit

which might have controlled Simon too

when he thought of prospering

and using the MONEY

to manipulate the preaching (or ‘selling’) of the gospel

with signs and wonders: Act 8:18-22 KJV.”

@joyceliew4352

“Hmmm….since you mentioned,

do you all realise both Joseph Prince’s wrists

are always full of bracelets or some sort of straps.

It can be seen whenever he stretches his hands

as the long sleeves pull back.

The previous video just before this which Rev Ong shared

can see clearly the black straps

on both Joseph Prince’s wrists.

Joseph Prince likes to put on many bracelets/straps

on his wrists

but yet covers them like not willing to be seen by all.

The thickness of the straps

looks more like a chain that binds.

If I am not mistaken,

I remember I read somewhere in The Bible

about women who loves sewing magic charms

or put on their wrists in order to charm others.”

@user-vo3iy4ur6d

“He is full of self-praise and self-promotion

and quite eager to take credit.

It should have red flag us

when we were in New Creation Church,

but we have an overdose of false teachings and hypnotism.

However, once a person

is delivered out of the spirit of false teachers,

we begin to see clearer and clearer

until it becomes clear that Joseph Prince

is lying, double talker, full of self-praise, self-promotion,

promotes buying and listening to his sermons

more than the reading from the Maker’s manual;

it is a money thing, etc.”

@edmundsim6251

“3 nights ago, I actually read the entire book of John again

to refresh my Spirit.

I don’t think John 16:8-11 should be taken out of context.

By the way, I am using the NIV version.

End of John 15 (John 15:26 to John 16:15),

it is actually about Jesus sending the Advocate of the Holy Spirit

which is also the Holy Spirit of Truth

after he had departed to guide everyone to the truth.

(of course, there is a mention about the Holy Spirit will prove the world who is wrong about sin, righteous and Judgement (NIV version).

Presumably, it may be the NKJ/ ESV version

as it uses convict instead of prove.

The main problem with Joseph Prince

is that he likes to take very short verses

out of the chapter’s parable

and twist the main meaning to his own,

without touching on the header of the chapter.

This one, I can testify

as I had been in New Creation Church for a few years.

He seldom goes through the proper meaning

of that particular verse in its entirety.

New Christians will be confused

and the verses that are used

won’t be properly justified in its use.

I am kind of confused by Joseph Prince

as he is being quite vague about his beliefs/preaching.

If Joseph Prince has stuck to the chapter header

and tells people that the Holy Spirit

is the Spirit of truth and will guide them

by pointing it out,

then it won’t be as complex as it looked.

But his problem is that he wants to use the verses

to justify something else or his own agenda;

so, it becomes more distorted.

I think even Joseph Prince himself got confused by himself.”

@joyceliew4352

“Hebrews 12:5, we see that the word “rebuke”

is actually the same Greek word

translated as “convict” in John 16:8.

Thank you, Rev Ong,

I also didn’t realise to look up the word “rebuke”

for clearer understanding through Greek translation.

I went and looked up for it

and yes, it is explained “convict”, “to expose”

or “to reprove”.

Indeed, Holy Spirit does “rebuke, convict, expose” us

when we sin against God in our conduct

so that we will repent

and confess our sins for His forgiveness.

1651. elegchó (el-eng’-kho) Definition: to expose, convict, reproveUsage: (a) I reprove, rebuke, discipline, (b) I expose, show to be guilty

I don’t know why Joseph Prince felt so offended

hearing Holy Spirit does convicts us of sin!

Imagine our children tell us not to correct them

when they sin?

But instead to compliment them

as the righteousness of God in Christ!

As a believer of Christ,

we should feel grateful and loved by our Father

because He corrects our paths

whenever we go the wrong way,

calling our attention to turn back unto Him.

Only the devil would want us to keep going the wrong way

until we finally fall off the cliff

and down to our destruction!

Please ask ourselves why Joseph Prince

didn’t want to further explain the word “rebuke”

to be the same as “convict” to his congregations?

I also realised Joseph Prince

will only teach certain words of The Bible in Hebrews/ Greek

if it will support his intentions

but if not,

he will just bypass it and quickly jump into another verse

or starts his own explanation

to make us believe that’s the truth!

No wonder I am always so confused

and can’t seem to understand

or share much to others what Joseph Prince has taught.

I will ask them to buy Joseph Prince’s books or CDs

to listen for themselves.

Now, to think back, it is so silly of me.

I myself also cannot understand after hearing so many times,

yet I expect others to understand.

Joseph Prince said we should be appreciative of his teachings.

Even the Bible School wouldn’t teach like he does!

Joseph Prince said his teachings

are like fresh bread comes directly from Heaven to us!”
