Let me back up my accusation
with figures that are proven
with recent on-site visits of my friends
to the 2 main locations of New Creation Church:

One of such many visits was only done

at 3 different worship services
by my friends.

In my last Article,
Joseph Prince lied big time that his New Creation Church attendance is more than 33,000 in his latest book “How To Read The Bible” published on 27 Oct 2024, when it is only 20,000 as he himself has admitted in his sermon on 3 Nov 2024, and probably even less

I reported that Joseph Prince had lied big time;
he had lied so blatantly and openly
about his church attendance.
This because in his latest book
(which I had purchased on 11 Nov 2024),
“How To Read The Bible”
that was published on 27 Oct 2024,
on the last page of the book,
Joseph Prince wrote:
“… He is the senior pastor of New Creation Church in Singapore,
a vibrant and dynamic church
with a congregation of more than 33,000 attendees…”
The truth is his church attendance
could not be more than 33,000
by any stretch,
as reported in his latest book
that was published recently on 27 Oct 2024.
Let me back up my accusation with figures that are proven
with recent on-site visits of my friends
to the 2 main locations of New Creation Church:
Star Vista Performing Arts Centre
and Marina Bay Sands.
One of such many visits was only done
yesterday, 17 Nov 2024
at 3 different worship services
by my friends.
Attendance at Star Vista Performing Arts Centre:
8.30 am service: 5,000 attendees (assuming full, even though it’s not)
11.30 am service: 3,300 attendees (two-thirds full)
2.30 pm service: 2,500 attendees (half full)
Total: 10,830 attendees
I am already rather generous
in my estimation of the above figures.
Attendance at Marina Bay Sands Ballrooms:
The combined attendance is about 4,200 people.
Two of the English services (8.30 am and 11.30 am)
were about 90 percent full,
while the Mandarin congregation (9 am)
was about 70 percent full,
and assuming the Hokkien congregation (11.30 am)
is full.
Going by the capacity of Marina Bay Sands Ballrooms,
the combined number of attendees
of the 2 English congregations,
the Mandarin and the Hokien congregations
is about 4,200
and can never be more than 5,000 attendees.
Attendance at the Cinemas:
This is a small fish
that we don’t even have to count them.
So, let’s give a ballpark figure of 500 attendees.
So, the actual current number of attendees
at New Creation Church is about 15,530:
10,830 at Star Vista Performing Arts Centre
4,200 at Marina Bay Sands
500 at the Cinemas
This is a far cry from the more than 33,000 attendees
that Joseph Prince has reported on 27 Oct 2024.
This proves that Joseph Prince is blatantly lying
about his attendance figures.
If the National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS)
or any Singapore Pastor
don’t believe me,
please to go to both Star Vista and Marina Bay Sands yourselves
to establish the truth of my figures.
What is horrifying it that Joseph Prince himself
had said on video that he hates lying.
“I hate lying…
I really cannot tolerate people that tell lies.”
There is nothing worse than for a boy who actually lied,
instead of admitting that he had lied,
goes around telling the world that he didn’t lie
because he hates lying
and that he cannot tolerate people who tell lies.
For Joseph Prince who was caught lying
more than once, and in fact, many times
which I have proven on this website,
and most recently, in his report of attendance figures,
and for him to dare to say that he hates lying,
and that he cannot tolerate people who tell lies,
is nothing but blatant and shameless hypocrisy.
He is effectively saying
that he hates that which he himself did – lying,
and that he cannot tolerate himself
for doing the same thing – lying.
Just imagine, how low can a man (Joseph Prince) get!
The National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS)
cannot remain silent anymore
especially when Joseph Prince and New Creation Church
who is affiliated with NCCS
is caught lying so blatantly and openly?
Recently, a court case was concluded
over Members of Parliament
who were accused of lying,
or not telling the truth.
In the Straits Times on 29 November 2021,
at the People’s Action Party (PAP) Convention,
the then Prime Minister, Lee Hsien Loong
was quoted to have said,
“Political leaders and MPs are expected
to have personal conduct
that is beyond reproach and to be scrupulously truthful
in what they say in and out of Parliament.”
The then Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong himself said,
“All our ministers, MPs, and activists know.
If someone misbehaves,
we will discipline him.
If someone misspeaks,
he will put it right
because he knows that is the right thing to do,
and the party will insist on it.”
The then Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong,
had put on record that PAP will not remain silent
if one of her ministers, Members of Parliament
or even activists were untruthful or misspeaks,
as the party will insist that the erring person
should put right what he
or she had said or done wrong.
The recently concluded court case
over Members of Parliament who were accused of lying
or didn’t tell the truth,
shows that the political leadership in Singapore
takes the issue of lying of their leaders very seriously.
If NCCS chooses to remain silent
at such blatant lying of Joseph Prince,
this means that the moral standard of the secular world
is indeed higher than that in the Christian Church.
It really appears to be so
that the Political Leadership in Singapore
has a higher standard of accountability
for their ministers and Members of Parliament
than what the Singapore Church Leadership
requires of her Pastors.
This is, indeed, a sad and shameful commentary
on the state of affairs for the Singapore Church Leadership
– if they would respond in silence
even though a Pastor, Joseph Prince,
who is affiliated with NCCS
had told a lie, not just once,
but plenty of times on the pulpit and in public,
and in the most recent episode.
If the Singapore Church Leadership,
were to remain silent to the lies of Joseph Prince, a “Pastor”,
they are showing a bad testimony to the unbelieving world,
when, ironically, the Church
is supposed to set a good moral example for her to follow.

Appendix
Now that Joseph Prince is caught lying by me,
there is every likelihood
that Joseph Prince may pull a fast one
and try to cover up for his lies
by saying that the more than 33,000 attendees he reported,
include also those who are watching online.
If Joseph Prince does that,
this would outrageous.
This is because the meaning of “attendees” in any dictionary
could only mean the following:
Cambridge Dictionary on Attendees:
someone who goes to a place, event, or,
someone who attends a performance,
meeting, speech, etc.
Merriam-Webster Dictionary on Attendees:
a person who is present on a given occasion
or at a given place.
For example, “There were 300 attendees
at the conference.”
Collins Dictionary on Attendees:
The attendees at something
such as a meeting or a conference
are the people who are attending it.
For example, “Only one-half of the attendees
could fit into the large hall at any one time.”
It is clear that “attendees” means those
who are attending New Creation Church physically, in person.
It cannot refer to one
who is watching the worship services online.
So, when Joseph Prince wrote in his book
“How To Read The Bible and published on 27 Oct 2024”:
“… He is the senior pastor of New Creation Church in Singapore,
a vibrant and dynamic church
with a congregation of more than 33,000 attendees,”
it must mean there are more than 33,000 people
attending New Creation Church, physically.
Even if Joseph Prince
wants to arbitrarily change the meaning of the word ‘Attendee’
by his own authority
to also include those who are watching online,
he must at least explain it clearly in his book
– that the more than 33,000 attendees,
comprise 15,530 who are attending the church, physically
and the more than 17,470 who are watching online.
This is also because
when he reported on his website previously
especially before Covid
that there were 34,000 people attending New Creation Church,
what he meant was these 34,000 people
were attending the church, physically.
So, if he has made the change and doesn’t explain this change,
he would be openly deceiving the people
that there are more than 33,000 people
attending his church, physically
which isn’t the truth.
Anyway, it is impossible to determine
how many who are watching online
are from his church
or, they are people from overseas.
And even then,
many who are watching New Creation Church online
may be irregular ‘watchers’
and who are already attending another church, physically.
So, trying to define attendees
as also including people who are watching online
is a non-starter in the first place.
This is especially so when Joseph Prince
had plenty of times through his sermons urged his people
to attend New Creation Church physically
and not to watch online.
So, for Joseph Prince now to include those
who watch online as part of his physical attendance
would be a total contradiction to all his efforts
to get them back.
Finally, in a recent sermon on 3 Nov 2024,
Joseph Prince said;
“In fact, if we cut down on our online,
do you know how many people are watching online now?
All the Pastors are here, verify.
On the average, 25,000, am I right?
Every Sunday, online.
Alright, down here, 20,000 in attendance.”
Joseph Prince himself had said in public
in his sermon on 3 Nov 2024, 2 Sundays ago,
that his church attendance is 20,000.
This can only mean 2 things:
First, Joseph Prince
means that his total physical church attendance is 20,000.
Second, Joseph Prince
means that his physical church attendance
at Star Vista Performing Arts Centre is 20,000.
(Note that the second alternative
is even more illogical than the first.)
This is because
Cambridge Dictionary
on the meaning of “in Attendance”:
present with someone
and helping or taking care of the
For example,
Last week, over 40,000 fans in attendance
watched their team become series champions.
Her second child was born at home,
with a nurse in attendance.
Merriam-Webster Dictionary
on the meaning of “in Attendance”:
present at an event, meeting, etc.
Everyone in attendance voted in favor of the measure.
A number of celebrities were in attendance.
caring for or helping someone
who is giving birth or getting medical treatment
Who was in attendance at the birth?
midwives/doctors in attendance
Collins Dictionary
on the meaning of “in Attendance”:
If someone is in attendance at a place or an event,
they are there.
There were murmurs from those in attendance,
some approving, some not.
Police with riot gear and several fire engines
are in attendance.
So, when Joseph Prince says
“Alright, down here, 20,000 in attendance,”
he must mean that
there are 20,000 people attending his church.
But the truth is, as I have proven
that the total physical church attendance
is not even 20,000
as claimed by Joseph Prince
but only about 15,530.
If Joseph Prince could lie on his church attendance,
he could lie on anything.
Article 2: Joseph Prince can never be trusted as he is a recalcitrant and unrepentant double-talker who contradicts himself endlessly
Part 1:
In a sermon yesterday, 17 Nov 2024, Joseph Prince said;
“If you are sick,
I recommend you spend time in the gospels,
seeing how Jesus heals people
and before you know it,
you are healed.”
But in another Sunday sermon, Joseph Prince said;
“That means all the rest of His (Jesus) ministry,
3 and a half years is not,
it’s just milk, milk,
and it’s not the meat.”
One moment,
Joseph Prince asked those who wanted to get healed
to spend time in the gospels.
But the next moment,
Joseph Prince said that the gospels is just milk, not meat.
How could anything that is just milk and not meat
be of any use to us,
much less to bring about our healing?
Part 2
In a Sunday sermon, yesterday, 17 Nov 2024,
Joseph Prince said;
“And He’s (Jesus) a man’s man
because when he looked at fishermen.
They are not exactly the people in the palaces of Herod
that are educated and you know.
They are just rough men.
And Jesus passed by them
and they never know who this person is.
He looked at them and only spoke 2 words, follow me.
And those rough fishermen left everything
and they followed Him.
Just 2 words.
He looked at them and He says, follow me,
and they left everything and followed Him.
What Charisma! What attractiveness!
What drew them to Him?
I want to see this Jesus.”
But in another sermon, Joseph Prince said;
“I’ll tell you what traditional Christianity teaches,
start from here.
Begin by following Christ, you people.
You are too lazy to follow Christ.
Alright, lazy to wake up early in the morning.
Lazy to do this. Lazy to do that.
You must begin to follow Christ.
Only those who follow Christ will be raptured.
Depending on your doctrine, your background.
Only those who follow Christ will make it.
Don’t think Easy Christianity is sloppy Agape,
greasy grace can get you into heaven, okay.
It sounds so amazing.
It sounds like Wah, man,
this guy is preaching with the fire.
Ya, what fire is it?
It’s strange fire.
It’s starting on the wrong foundation.
Begin, they teach you, begin to follow Christ.”
One moment,
Joseph Prince said that following Christ was so amazing
that He was able to make the rough fishermen follow Him,
of course, with the unsaid assumption
that for Joseph Prince,
it is a good thing to follow Christ;
if not, he will never say he admires this Jesus
who could get people to follow Him.
But the next moment,
Joseph Prince lambasted that following Christ
which is taught by traditional Christianity
is strange fire
and asking people to follow Christ
is to begin on a wrong foundation.
Part 3:
In a Sunday sermon, 3 Nov 2024, 3 Sundays ago,
Joseph Prince said;
“But the law is until Christ came,
the Book of Galatians tells us.”
But in another sermon, Joseph Prince said;
“… Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
is Jesus still under the law.
All his disciples were under Law.”
One moment,
Joseph Prince said that the law was until Christ came
– meaning when Christ came there is no more law
because He had come to institute grace.
The next moment,
Joseph Prince said that Jesus and His disciples in the gospels
were still under law.
How can anyone in his right mind
chooses to their trust a man like Joseph Prince
who not only blatantly lies,
but who endlessly double talks
and self-contradicts himself?
