Article 2: Joseph Prince’s endless double-talks only prove that he cannot be trusted for his teachings – By Rev George Ong
Joseph Prince, who uses social media extensively to preach his heresies, is a serial double-talker – Double-Talk No 5

Last week, someone, who attended the 2.30 pm Worship service at New Creation Church
sent me this picture (Please see above):
It showed that the 2.30 pm worship service at MBS (Marina Bay Sands)
is almost empty.
This photo was taken not at the beginning or the end,
but about midway through the service.
It is rather obvious that Joseph Prince has lost his ‘magic’ on the people.
Perhaps, many have woken up to the heretical teachings of Joseph Prince that they have chosen to ‘desert’ him.
And perhaps, this is also a possible reason why Joseph Prince has cleverly chosen to take his sabbatical this year,
as he doesn’t want to be seen as being responsible for the continuing slide of attendance at New Creation Church.
Joseph Prince should come clean and tell us what is the latest attendance figure at New Creation Church.
Has it gone down to a figure that is too embarrassing for Joseph Prince to report?
Is it still 34,000 that he constantly boasted when he used this very fact to hit his critics
– when he had 32,000 people,
he challenged his critics with this statement
– “how could 32,000 people be wrong?”
In other words, his argument is that if there are 32,000 people who attend his worship services,
how could 32,000 people not be aware that he is teaching heresies.
Well, many of the 32,000 or 34,000 people may have finally woken up to the fact
that he is indeed preaching the false grace doctrine
and have chosen to walk out on him.
Please note that in
Article 1, there is one video on Joseph Prince and a 4-minute video on Derek Prince.
Article 2, there are 2 videos on Joseph Prince.
Article 1: Joseph Prince’s ‘God can never send sickness to us’ is refuted by Derek Prince, Martyn Lloyd-Jones & Arthur Pink – By Rev George Ong
IMPORTANT EXCERPTS FROM THIS ARTICLE:
Martyn Lloyd Jones said:
“Antinomianism is nonsense.”
(George Ong’s interjection:
By the way, if you aren’t aware,
Joseph Prince is a true-blooded Antinomian.
I have already given many proofs on my website
that Joseph Prince is an Antinomian.
I have done more research on this area,
on Antinomianism during Martin Luther’s time,
and here is one more piece of evidence.
During Martin Luther’s day,
Henry Burton, an English Puritan (1578-1648),
in his book ‘The Law And The Gospel Reconciled’
who was battling against the Antinomians of his day,
wrote the following:
‘These Antinomians teach that
God sees no sin in his justified children,
and though He knows sin to be in them,
yet He (God) does not see it.
So, it makes God likened to a blind man,
who does not see those things which he knows.’
‘But do you see sin in you, and doesn’t God see it?
No, (Antinomians reply) God does not see it (sin),
for He looks upon us
only in the righteousness of Christ…’
Be warned that this Antinomian teaching during Martin Luther’s day
is exactly what Joseph Prince teaches today.
In ‘Destined To Reign,’ Joseph Prince wrote:
“When He looks down,
He (God) cannot see man’s sins and rebellion
because they are all covered by the blood on the mercy seat!
Let me say it one more time to make sure that you did not miss it:
God cannot see your sins
when they are covered by the blood.”
Not only has Joseph Prince written,
but he has also said many times in his sermons
that God cannot see the sin in us,
even though we may commit them
because He sees only the righteousness of Christ in us.
Here is another concrete proof
that Joseph Prince is an Antinomian
as he is only parroting
what the Antinomians during Martin Luther’s day had said or taught.
Hence, Joseph Prince’s theological forefathers
are not the Reformation Fathers, such as Martin Luther.
In fact, Luther was the one who fought against the Antinomians of his day
– the theological forefathers of Joseph Prince.
If Joseph Prince is an Antinomian
and Antinomianism is considered to be a heresy
not only in Martin Luther’s day, but also in our day,
which is also the view of Dr Roland Chia,
an accomplished Singapore Methodist theologian,
and also, the view of Methodist Bishop Ho Chee Sin (Singapore)
and Anglican Bishop Kuan Kim Seng (Singapore),
why then did a Singapore Methodist Bishop
and a Singapore Presbyterian Pastor
protect Joseph Prince
by saying that he is not a heretic?
Friends, heretics are not to be protected
but exposed and denounced
as they are wolves
who are bent on destroying the sheep.)
In ‘Destined To Reign,’ Joseph Prince wrote:
“One of the most evil teachings that I have heard is that
God will chastise His own
with sicknesses, diseases, accidents and tragedies.”
“So how can anyone have the audacity to say
that God will still chastise us
with sicknesses, diseases and accidents today?”
(George Ong’s interjection:
By making the above statement,
Joseph Prince is not only accusing Derek Prince, Martyn Lloyd-Jones and Arthur Pink
for teaching one of the evillest views
that God could send sickness and even death to chastise His people,
but, on the gravest note,
he is also accusing the Almighty God
for committing one of the evillest acts.
This is because it can be so easily proven from the scriptures
that God has indeed carried out such (not evil but sovereign) acts.
If Joseph Prince has the audacity to even accuse God
of carrying out one of the evillest acts,
how can this man not be a false prophet?)
Joseph Prince has categorically said in his books
that those who teach that
God could send sickness and even death to believers
have lied, and he mentioned that 7 times.
What this means is that
Prince is accusing Derek Prince, Martyn Lloyd-Jones and Arthur Pink
of multiple lying
as they have taught that
God has could send sickness and even death to believers to chastise them.
The most despicable and contemptible liar
is one who falsely accuses others,
especially the godly people
like Derek Prince, Martyn Lloyd-Jones and Arthur Pink of lying,
when he is himself is a serial liar – Joseph Prince.
(This article was also sent to Rev Dr Ngoei Foong Nghian, General Secretary, National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS) office, and for the attention of the Executive Committee Members.)
In a weekly Sunday sermon aired on YouTube on 11 June 2023, 5 days ago, Joseph Prince said;
Please click here to view the 30-second video:
“And notice where does this sickness come from?
– ‘whom Satan has bound’ (Luke 13:15-16).
We got to see that, people.
If we see our infirmity as something that O,
we think that maybe God gave us this infirmity
to teach us some lesson and all that,
we’ll not be healed, will not be loosed from it.
You got to see it as from the devil.
Alright, it doesn’t belong to you.
I repeat, you are a seed of Abraham;
you are a son of Abraham.
This does not belong to you. Amen.”
It is one thing for Joseph Prince to say that the devil is the one who is responsible for our sickness.
It is quite another for him to say that God can never send sickness to us.
Furthermore, Joseph Prince is vehemently against the teaching that the Holy Communion
could be a time for God to afflict us with sickness and even death to chastise us.
(The details of what Prince teaches
are found after the teachings of Derek Prince, Martyn Lloyd-Jones and Arthur Pink.)
Joseph Prince’s teaching on sickness and the Holy Communion
is resoundingly refuted by three of the world’s most respected Bible teachers:
Derek Prince, Martyn Lloyd-Jones and Arthur Pink.
In a video, Derek Prince said;
Please click here to view the 4-minute video:
“Anyhow, Paul says in 1 Corinthians 11:27.
“Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty [or answerable for] of the body and blood of the Lord.”
So he goes on:
“But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread and drink of that cup.”
So, the taking of communion
should be always a time for self-examination.
(George Ong’s Interjection:
It is a well-known fact that Joseph Prince teaches against
the need and practice of self-examination in any form.
This is because he proclaims that every sin has been forgiven
without the need for confession or repentance.
So, according to him, to examine yourself
is to get yourself into self-condemnation.)
(Now back to Derek Prince)
Now this can be overdone
as it is in some Presbyterian churches
where it becomes very legalistic.
(George Ong’s interjection:
We must never go to the other extreme and get into legalism,
as legalism which is the opposite of Antinomianism that Joseph Prince teaches,
is as heretical and deadly.)
(Now back to Derek Prince)
But nevertheless, it’s a reality.
“For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. (He isn’t realising that he is dealing with the holiest thing on earth.) For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.”
For what reason?
For partaking of the communion service
in an unworthy manner.
(George Ong’s interjection:
Joseph Princes teaches the false doctrine
that to take the communion service in an unworthy manner
is not to recognise that Christ’s body was broken
for the healing of their bodies.
In other words, if believers don’t accept his teaching
that the Holy Communion is carried out
primarily for the healing of believers
– that’s the very reason why they fall sick.
Such twisted teaching on the Holy Communion is indeed appalling!)
Please see below for the details of Joseph Prince’s views.
(Now back to Derek Prince)
Now talking to Charismatics.
Are many among us weak and sick?
The answer is yes.
And Paul goes on to say the some have died prematurely.
Have some of us died prematurely?
The answer is yes.
Now there are various reasons,
but one reason is
we haven’t applied the lesson of 1 Corinthians chapter 11.
If we would judge ourselves,
we would not be judged by the Lord.
But when we are chastened by the Lord, or judged…
when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord
that we may not be condemned with the world.
Now I find many Charismatics, and some of them are friends of mine,
have a real problem in accepting the fact that they could be chastened.
That sickness could be a chastening.
But this is very clear.
Paul is speaking about people who get sick
and he says they are being chastened by the Lord.
And I find many times when we are asked to pray for the sick,
we just launch into prayer.
We say, “Bless him Lord, heal him.”
We quote the Scriptures.
It doesn’t occur to us to ask
is he being chastened by the Lord.
If so, he won’t be healed until he repents.
Until God has been diverted to deal with it.
And you know to whom that applies?
Me, just as much as you.
You see, there are three possibilities.
You may examine yourself and change.
You may be chastened by the Lord and repent.
But if you don’t repent,
you’ll be condemned with the world.
Because you cannot live like the world
without being condemned with the world.
So those are the three possibilities, and they are brought before us continually when we partake of the Lord’s Supper.
Now that’s the message of the communion service.
Are we willing to judge ourselves?
If we don’t judge ourselves,
are we willing to accept the Lord’s chastenings
and call it what it is.
Oh, you can get all sorts of fancy psychiatric names for most problems today.
But really the basic problem is a very short simple word of three letters.
You guess what it is?
Sin.
And one thing I’ve seen is God will never compromise with sin.
And you can talk as much as you like about revival,
but revival and sin are inconsistent.”
(George Ong’s interjection:
Joseph Prince has been preaching in his sermons
that churches are experiencing
and will experience the revival (of Grace).
Yet, Prince does not even bother
to deal with the problem of sin,
as he has gotten rid of it
by his teaching that all future sins of believers
are already forgiven,
and that any believer who confesses his sins
is insulting Father God.
This is the first time I have ever heard a guy, called Joseph Prince
wanting revival without wanting to deal with sin.
If such kind of ‘revival’ ever breaks out,
we can be absolutely certain that it is Pseudo-Revival.)
Martyn Lloyd-Jones is also of the same opinion
that God can chasten us
by sending sickness and even death into our lives.
In ‘An Exposition of Ephesians 4:17-5:17, Darkness and Light,’ Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:
“Read the Old Testament;
see how God punished individuals;
see how He punished nations,
even the nation of Israel, His own people.
He sent them into captivity!
He punished kings,
He brought them down!
It is written in the histories of the nations and of the world in general.
And it is a truth that is taught explicitly in the New Testament.
For instance, hear the words read at the Communion Service:
‘For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.’
Because some of you people in Corinth,
says Paul, have not examined yourselves
before coming to the communion table,
some of you are weak, some of you are sick,
some of you have died!
It was a part of God’s punishment of sin.
Yes, says the twelfth chapter of the Epistle to the Hebrews,
‘Whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receive.’
The wrath of God manifested in the present against sin and evil!”
In ‘An Exposition of Ephesians 1, God’s Ultimate Purpose,’ Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:
“The man who is chosen, is chosen to holiness;
and if there is no evidence of holiness in his life
it is proof that he has never been chosen.
These are solemn thoughts,
and yet they are inevitable
in the light of this statement of Scripture.
My final comment is, that the teaching that God’s choice of us
is only ‘in Christ’ or because of Christ,
far from leading to what is called Antinomianism,
that is to say, to slackness in life and living,
is the greatest incentive of all to holiness.
Many have tried to argue that the doctrine of ‘being chosen’
will lead men to say,
‘If I am chosen all is well; it matters not what I do or fail to do.’
But it does not work out in that way.
Indeed, the exact opposite is the case and for the following reason.
Because it is God’s purpose that we be holy,
it will be carried out.
I mean that if God has chosen you to salvation,
God will make you holy.
If, foolishly, you are not willing to be led by God,
and to be drawn by His love, because He has chosen you,
He will employ another way of making you holy.
This is indicated in what we read
in the twelfth chapter of the Epistle to the Hebrews:
‘Whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth’ (v. 6).
The man who is not being chastened is a bastard; he is not a child of God.
What a momentous statement!
God, who has chosen you to holiness, will make you holy;
and if the preaching of the gospel does not do so,
God has other means and methods.
He may strike you down with illness,
He may ruin your business.
God will make you holy
because He has chosen you unto holiness.
Antinomianism is nonsense.
(George Ong’s interjection:

Be warned that this Antinomian teaching during Martin Luther’s day
is exactly what Joseph Prince teaches today.

(Now back to Martyn Lloyd-Jones)
If you are chosen of God unto holiness and to be without blemish,
He will bring you to that condition;
and if you defy Him,
well then, terrible things may happen to you.
Paul explains this also in the eleventh chapter of the First Epistle to the Corinthians,
where, dealing with the Communion Service,
he says that, because certain Christians do not examine themselves,
‘many are weak and sickly, and some even sleep’,
that is to say, some are even dead.
Because they would not judge themselves
God had corrected them.
We are in the hands of God,
and we are called to holiness.”
In ‘An Exposition of Ephesians 5:18-6:9, Life in the Spirit,’ Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:
“And if we do not respond to Him,
and yield to His endearments
and to the manifestations of His tender love and wooing,
I assert in His name,
that He loves you so much that He will cleanse you,
He will bring you there.
He may have to apply to you the acid of ‘weakness’,
or the acid of ‘sickness’
but it will be for your good.
Do not misunderstand me.
This does not mean that every time we are ill
it is of necessity a chastisement.
The Scripture does not say that;
but it does say that it may be.
That has often happened.
You can read many instances of it in Scripture.
Paul realized that the thorn in the flesh was given him
in order to keep him humble
lest he be exalted over-much. (2 Corinthians 12:7-10).
There are foolish and glib (shallow) people who say that
it is never the Lord’s will that a man should be ill.
The Scripture teaches that
‘the Lord chasteneth whom He loveth’,
and this is one of His ways
– ‘many are weak and many are sickly among you, and many sleep’.
(George Ong’s interjection:
According to Martyn Lloyd-Jones,
Joseph Prince is indeed a foolish and shallow man,
as he teaches that it is never God’s will
that believers could be chastened and afflicted
with sickness and even death.)
(Now back to Martyn Lloyd-Jones)
If you really are a child of God,
be careful, be wary.
Because you belong to the body of which He is the Head,
He will cleanse, He will perfect you,
He will have you to become
that which He has destined for you.”
In ‘An Exposition of Ephesians 6:10-13, The Christian Warfare,’ Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:
“Looking back over my experience as a pastor for some thirty-four years,
I can testify without the slightest hesitation
that the people I have found most frequently in trouble in their spiritual experience
have been those who have lacked understanding.
You cannot divorce these things.
You will go wrong in the realms of practical living and experience
if you have not a true understanding.
If you drop off into some heresy,
if you go wrong at some point,
if you believe, for instance
– I give one example in passing
– ‘that healing is in the atonement’,
that it is never God’s will
that any of His children should be ill,
that it is always God’s will
that all His children should be healthy,
and that no Christian should ever die from a disease…
(George Ong’s interjection:
There are true Evangelical and godly Pastors and believers
who hold the view that healing is in the atonement.
Yet, hardly anyone of them would agree
with Joseph Prince’s bizarre and repulsive doctrines
that we are to take the Holy Communion 3 times a day
as one is taking medicine as his secret to healing;
and that every New Covenant believer
on this side of heaven
can enjoy the perfect health of the Lord Jesus.
In ‘Eat Your Way to Life and Health,’ Joseph Prince wrote:
“For instance, if you have been diagnosed with eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, or ocular hypertension,
see Jesus’ eyes stricken with those conditions while He hung on the cross,
and receive His perfect and healthy eyes.”
“Whatever condition you might have, whether it is irritable bowel syndrome, an ulcerated stomach, cirrhosis, chronic lower respiratory disease, or pneumonia,
see Jesus on the cross smitten with your disease
and receive His perfect health in these areas.”
“Whether your medication is taken once or three times a day,
partake of the Communion elements as well in faith, and each time thank Him.
Each time, declare that by His stripes, you are healed (Isa. 53:5).”
(Now back to Martyn Lloyd-Jones)
If you believe that, and then find yourself,
or someone who is dear to you,
dying of some incurable disease,
you will be miserable and unhappy.
Probably you will be told by certain people,
‘There is something wrong with your faith, you are failing somewhere, you are not really trusting as you should be’,
and you will be cast into the depth of despair and misery and unhappiness.
You will be depressed in your spiritual life,
and you will be looking here and there for comfort.
Such a person’s condition is due to error or heresy
concerning a primary central doctrine.
He or she has insinuated something into the Christian faith
that does not truly belong to it.”
(George Ong’s interjection:
Martyn Lloyd-Jones considers one who teaches that
it is never God’s will that any believer should be ill,
and it is always God’s will that all believers should be healthy,
to be preaching heresy.
This is exactly what Joseph Prince teaches.
So, according to Martyn Lloyd-Jones,
Joseph Prince is a heretic.)
(Now back to Martyn Lloyd-Jones)
In ‘An Exposition of Ephesians 1, God’s Ultimate Purpose,’ Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:
“Then there is the fight against physical conditions
such as ill health.
If you read the lives of the saints,
you will find that the men who have accomplished most in this world
have often been men who have had a great fight
with some physical weakness or illness.
Count up the number of volumes under the name of John Calvin, for instance.
All these Commentaries on the Scriptures, and the other works,
were produced by a man who was a martyr through-out his life
to asthma and to chronic indigestion,
and who died at the age of 55.
But we tend to make an excuse of physical weakness.
All this shows that, were it not for the power of God,
we would never accomplish anything,
we would not stand for a moment,
we would be undone.”
Like Derek Prince and Martyn Lloyd-Jones,
Arthur Pink, a well-respected Bible commentator and teacher
is also of the same opinion
that God can chasten us
by sending sickness and death into our lives.
In a book by Arthur W Pink, he wrote:
“Again, if the healing of the body were a redemptive right
which faith may humbly but boldly claim,
then it necessarily follows
that the believer should never die,
for every time he fell ill,
he could plead before God the sacrifice of His Son
and claim healing.
In such a case,
why did not Paul exhort Timothy
to exercise faith in the atonement
rather than bid him
“use a little wine for his stomach’s sake” (1 Tim 5:23),
and why did he (Paul) leave Trophimus
in “Miletum sick,” (2 Tim 4:20)?
A glorified body, as well as soul,
is the fruit of Christ’s atonement,
but for that,
the believer has to wait God’s appointed time.”
One error leads to another:
most of those who teach that Divine healing is in the atonement
argue that therefore it must constitute an essential element in and part of the Gospel, and thus their favourite slogan is:
“Christ our Saviour, Christ our Sanctifier, Christ our Healer, Christ our Coming King,”
and hence “the Fourfold Gospel” is the leading caption of most of them.
But such a contention will not bear the light of Holy Writ.
In the book of Acts, we find the apostles preaching the Gospel of God both to Jews and Gentiles,
yet, though in the course of their ministry miracles of healing were performed by them,
yet nowhere did the removal of physical maladies
form part of their message.
In 1 Corinthians 15:1-3 a brief summary of the Gospel is given, namely, that
“Christ died for our sins according to the Scripture, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day”
– mark the omission of His dying for our sicknesses!
In Romans we are furnished with a systematic and full unfolding of “the gospel of God”,
yet healing of bodily ills is never referred to.
If it were true that Christ made atonement
for our sicknesses as well as our sins,
then it would follow that all bodily disorders
are the immediate consequence of some iniquity.”
“Our Lord’s reply to His disciples in John 9:2-3
expressly forbids any such sweeping conclusion.”
“Moreover, if this contention of “divine healing” were valid,
we should be obliged to conclude that every sickness
severed the soul from communion with God,
which is falsified by the experiences of many of the saintliest persons who ever trod this earth.”
“Let it be carefully noted that the teaching of the New Testament
is precisely the same on this subject as in the Old Testament.
“For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily eateth and drinketh damnation (judgment) to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep” (1Cor 11:29-30).
The Corinthians had been guilty of profaning the Lord’s table, turning the holy supper into a carnal feast.
God would not tolerate such irreverence and impiety
in this (New Testament) dispensation
any more than He would under the Mosaic (Old Testament dispensation),
and evidenced His sore displeasure
by visiting them with a temporal judgment,
smiting them in their bodies.”
“For if we would judge ourselves we should not be judged” (v.31).
If the Corinthians would unsparingly condemn themselves for their unseemly conduct and mourn over it before God,
His judgment would be removed
and the many weak and sickly ones recovered and not be made to “sleep” (die).”
Now, let’s examine the doctrines of Joseph Prince
and you will come to a clear conclusion
that his doctrines on healing, sickness and the Holy Communion
are totally at odds
with that of Derek Prince, Martyn Lloyd-Jones and Arthur Pink.
In ‘Eat Your Way to Life and Health,’ Joseph Prince wrote:
“And yet people have somehow
believed the lie
that sometimes it is God’s will for us to be sick.
There are even those who claim that
God uses sickness to “chastise” us or teach us a lesson.
These lies
have robbed His people of partaking of their blood-bought right to divine health.
These lies
have caused too many believers to simply accept sickness in their bodies.”
“The same Jesus who purchased the forgiveness of all our sins
also removed all our diseases.
The failure to make a distinction
and see that the Lord’s body was broken for our diseases to be healed
causes many to be sick and weak.
(George Ong’s interjection:
Joseph Prince is such evil man that he has grossly distorted God’s truth,
when he claimed that people are sick during the Holy Communion
because they have not accepted that Christ’s body
was broken for their diseases to be healed.
In other words, if believers don’t accept his teaching
that the Holy Communion is carried out primarily for the healing of believers
– that’s the very reason why they fall sick.
Such a false teaching is indeed appalling!)
(Now back to Joseph Prince)
If many are sick and weak
because they have failed to discern the Lord’s body,
then it stands to reason the opposite is true:
those who discern that His body was broken for our health
will be healthy and strong,
and will live long, good lives!
That, my friend, is why I am writing this book.
(George Ong’s interjection:
This is atrocious.
Joseph Prince is not only teaching that the Holy Communion
is primarily for the healing of our bodies,
he is also claiming it would also enable us
to be healthy and strong and live long lives.
To use a baseless assumption
as the ground for his doctrine
that the Holy Communion is primarily
for the healing of believers is already deplorable,
but to extrapolate this baseless assumption
to further ‘prove’ his other doctrine
that the Holy Communion
is also to make believers strong, heathy and live long lives
is doing violence to logic, not just to scriptures.)
(Now back to Joseph Prince)
There is such healing power in the holy Communion, but too many people have been robbed of this gift either
because they do not know about it
or because they have been taught wrongly about what the Lord meant it to be.”
“But maybe you are wondering if the disease you are fighting
is somehow from God.
Maybe you think He is punishing you
for something you did and that there is a lesson He wants you to learn.
If you have believed any of the lies above,
then you have fallen prey to Satan,
who is the great deceiver and father of lies (Rev. 12:9; John 8:44 NLT).
His modus operandi is to deceive you, and his master strategy is to convince you
sickness is actually from God.
I want you to know in no uncertain terms that your heavenly Father loves you, and He wants you well.
He does not want your life to be cut short by sickness,
and it is never His plan for you or your loved ones
to suffer any sickness or disease.”
“Don’t ever believe the enemy’s lie
that God wants you sick
or that He is not willing to heal you.”
“God is a good God, and He loves us so much.
That is why I cannot understand why there are those who teach that
God sometimes uses sickness to teach us a lesson
or that we need to “pray hard” for His healing.”
(George Ong’s interjection:
By comparing the ‘healing and sickness’ doctrines
of Derek Prince, Martyn Lloyd-Jones and Arthur Pink
with that of Joseph Prince,
what is obvious is that all three of them
stood for tough but true Christianity
which is also espoused by the Lord Jesus,
while Joseph Prince’s main calling card
is his Easy Christianity and Cheap Grace.
Now you know why Joseph Prince is able to attract the millions
who are looking for such no-hassle faith,
and they found it in Joseph Prince’s teachings.
These millions would have no excuse
as they stand before God on judgement day,
as they have been bought over to the Easy but false gospel of Joseph Prince
that would only lead to their damnation.)
(Now back to Joseph Prince)
“There are even some people who claim that it is sometimes God’s will for us to be sick.”
“… God does not give sicknesses and diseases.”
“You can be sure God’s will is for you to be healthy because His Word declares it.
Since His will is for you to be “in health,”
don’t go with human tradition or man’s opinion
that says it is sometimes His will for you to be sick.
Don’t let man’s conjectures and theories
cause you to believe the lie
that maybe God wants you to endure the sickness in your body
so you can learn to trust Him more or grow in patience.”
If Joseph Prince has the audacity to even accuse God
of carrying out one of the evillest acts,
how can this man not be a false prophet?
(Now back to Joseph Prince)
“Let me say this again to make it very clear:
Sicknesses, diseases and accidents
are not lessons from God!”
“God would never use sicknesses and accidents
to teach you and me – His children – lessons!”
“I always tell my congregation not to leave their brains at home
when they come to church.
Stop believing the LIE
that God gives you sicknesses, diseases and accidents
to punish you or teach you a lesson.”
“Down through the years,
the body of Christ has mistakenly believed
that to partake of the Holy Communion
in an “unworthy manner”
is to partake with sin in your life.
So, we are told not to partake of the Communion
when we deem ourselves “not right with God”,
lest we become weak, sickly and die before our time.”
“Having a sickness or disease
does not mean that you have sinned
or that God is teaching you a lesson.
It just means that your healing is on its way!”
“Many believers are sick today not because of sin,
for sin has already been punished on the body of Jesus,
but because of condemnation.”
“I have shown you that under the dispensation of grace,
God is not judging you
and does not punish His own children
with sicknesses, diseases or accidents.”
(George Ong’s interjection:
Joseph Prince’s dispensational doctrine
that God only judges believers in the Old Covenant
and that He doesn’t judge believers under the New Covenant
is patently false.)
In closing, Joseph Prince has categorically said in his books
that those who teach that God could send sickness and even death to believers
have lied, and he mentioned that 7 times.
What this means is that
Prince is accusing Derek Prince, Martyn Lloyd-Jones and Arthur Pink
of multiple lying
as all three of them have taught that
God could send sickness and even death to believers to chastise them.
The most despicable and contemptible liar
is one who falsely accuses others,
especially the godly people
like Derek Prince, Martyn Lloyd-Jones and Arthur Pink
of lying,
when he is himself is a serial liar – Joseph Prince.
Article 2: Joseph Prince’s endless double-talks only prove that he cannot be trusted for his teachings – By Rev George Ong
Joseph Prince, who uses social media extensively to preach his heresies, is a serial double-talker – Double-Talk No 5
In one sermon, Joseph Prince said that
no one could be saved before Jesus went to the cross;
Please click here to view the 30-second video:
“In fact, let me tell you this.
None of the disciples (Christ’s disciples) were saved or born again.
How can they be saved?
Nobody was saved.
They were followers. Yes. They were disciples. Yes.
But they were not saved.
Why? How do I know that?
Because Jesus has not yet died. He has not risen again.
So they were followers of Jesus.
Were they Christians?
No.
They were disciples. Put that right.
He has not yet died. He has not yet risen.
How can they be saved?”
Yet, in his latest sermon that Joseph Prince preached 5 days ago on 11 June 2023,
he said that Zacchaeus was saved even before Jesus went to the cross:
Please click here to view the 1-minute video:
“And here, we see a story of Zacchaeus.
This man had a hunger to see Jesus
And Jesus said Zacchaeus, ‘Make haste and come down.’
But this is one time He (Jesus) says, ‘Make haste’.
Why?
Because when it comes to salvation, don’t waste time.
Make sure, make haste to make sure that you are saved,
that you become the seed of Abraham,
you become a child of God,
that you belong to Jesus Christ. Luke 19:5,
So, Zacchaeus make haste and come down.”
“Then Jesus said to him,
‘Today salvation has come to this (Zacchaeus) house,
because he also is a son of Abraham.’ (Luke 19:9)
And Jesus says,
‘Today salvation has come to this (Zacchaeus) house,’
and what’s the reason given, because he also is a son of Abraham.’
Jesus is saying I am also a son of Abraham.
He (Zacchaeus) also is a son of Abraham.
We are of the same family of faith. Hallelujah!
And so are you, child of God.
You are of the family of faith
because you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
Today, salvation has come to his (Zacchaeus) house.”
One moment, in an earlier sermon, Joseph Prince said
no one was saved
until the cross and Jesus’ resurrection.
And the next moment, in Joseph Prince’s latest sermon,
he said something that which is totally the reverse
– that Zacchaeus was saved
even before Jesus went to the cross
and the occurrence of His subsequent resurrection.
Are you dumbfounded by Joseph Prince’s disgusting double-talk?
Are you sick and tired of Joseph Prince’s constant and endless flip-flops and self-contradictions?
Can you honestly trust this so-called world-renowned teacher of grace,
who says one thing at one time and another at another time?
If we cannot accept such blatant flip-flops and self-contradictory statements
from an ‘ordinary’ person,
how can we ever tolerate the same misdemeanours
that come from a so-called preacher of the gospel?
And why do millions around the world
continue to adore and even idolise him
even though he has been proven
as a serial double-talker and serial liar many times over?
This must be one of the greatest church scams in modern times!
