Joseph Prince, who said he loves his critics, is proven to be insincere, hypocritical & even a fake – By Rev George Ong
As I have mentioned in a recent update,
currently, at the second 11.30 am service
(at the auditorium of Star Vista, the physical location of New Creation Church),
it is only about two-thirds full.
At their third service at 2.30 pm,
only about half the auditorium is full.
What about the 8.30 am service?
The latest is that even this service is not full.
About more than half at the third and highest level of the auditorium is empty
when Joseph Prince started preaching 2 days ago, last Sunday on 26 Mar 2023.
This is despite the fact that Joseph Prince himself was preaching last Sunday, and that he did it after an absence of 3 straight Sundays.
This is why Joseph Prince is pretty desperate about getting his people back to worship services.
Joseph Prince is also worried to be asked about the current worship attendance figures.
Because of his pride, which I have always said is his number one problem,
he is unlikely to reveal the exact number of the thousands of his members who have left the church since COVID-19.
He comforts himself by painting the picture that those who are missing from the worship services
didn’t leave him permanently for other churches,
but they are watching the worship services at New Creation Church from the comfort of their homes.

“The character of a man is not to be judged by what he says on a few occasions over several months, even though they may be the most current, but by what he says on many occasions over a longer period of years.” (George Ong)
In a weekly Sunday sermon aired on YouTube 2 days ago, on 26 Mar 2023, Joseph Prince said;
Please click here to view the 15-second video:
“Walking in grace makes you in love with everyone. Even those who speak against you; those who write against you, whatever, you know, I tell you, it fills your heart with love for them. You feel compassion for them.”
Wow, so touching!
Joseph Prince said he loved his critics who speak and write against him.
Is there any sincerity to what he said?
Let’s see.
In the same sermon 2 days ago, on 26 Mar 2023, Joseph Prince also said;
Please click here to view the 35-second video:
“How many of you heard this?
There are people who come to church on Sunday, only on Sunday, and sit down there, and then they hear and hear and hear. New Creation Church, especially. All you do is hear, hear, hear, hear, hear. They never go out and do.
Now, in the first place, do they interview you? They don’t know. They judge you based on their own prejudice. Let’s say, alright.
Who are you speaking of, Pastor Prince? I don’t know. I’m just speaking. I’m just speaking. I’m just speaking.
They will say, ‘They sit down here’, and sometimes they will say things like, ‘They warm the pews and keep on hearing and hearing and hearing and hearing and hearing, and they never go out and do anything.’”
Do you sense the obvious impatience and unkind spirit in what Joseph Prince said about his critics?
The fact that Joseph Prince uttered the word ‘hear’ or ‘hearing’;
hear and hear and hear
‘hear, hear, hear, hear, hear
hearing and hearing and hearing and hearing and hearing,
13 times in his short conversation, and the contentious and bickering spirit in which he said them against his critics,
only leaves one with serious doubts about whether he genuinely loves them.
But Joseph Prince claimed he loves his critics.
How can that be because the great chapter of love in 1 Corinthians 13:4 says;
“Love is patient, love is kind…”
1 Corinthians 13:5 also says;
“… it (love) keeps no record of wrongs.”
Joseph Prince by being rather impatient and unkind in his remarks against his critics,
and by raking up his past criticisms of what his critics have said
indicates that his love for his critics is somewhat insincere.
By the way, I have heard Prince say this a number of times in other videos presented in slightly different forms.
If you don’t believe me,
Please click here to view this 45-second video;
“I just want to tell you this. People always like to quote this. Okay, and try to bring us into bondage other than what the author of these verses meant, which is God, the heavenly author.
They like to say, ‘Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only.’ Have you heard that before? ‘Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only.’
And that one quote has robbed us from hearing more because we will say, ‘Hearing is no point. It’s not just hearing; you must do it.’
Almost every sermon you hear, ‘Hearing is not important, it’s doing it. Come on.’ You want to have the Pharisaical look, you know.
Have you heard that before? It discourages people from hearing.”
Can you sense the sarcasm, anger and arrogance in Joseph Prince, as he retaliated and fought back against his critics?
Prince seems to be getting all upset and uptight just because his critics disagree with him.
Hitting critics who disagree with him with the Pharisees’ tag publicly, as Joseph Prince has done,
is a rather rude and uncouth way to respond
– definitely not befitting one with a gentle and forbearing spirit that he loves his critics,
as Joseph Prince tries to depict himself during last Sunday’s sermon on 26 Mar 2023,
in the first video that you have viewed.
This is not the first time Joseph Prince
has been exposed for his insincerity and even hypocrisy
about his declared love for his critics.
Let me give you more evidence.
In a Sunday sermon, Joseph Prince said;
Please click here to view the 45-second video:
“There will be people who will be jealous of you.”
“That’s the mentality, or a church must be small and poor. As the saying says, ‘as poor as a (church mouse).’
How can you say that? Why is the church mouse different from other mouse?
Oh, there is a difference.
Compare church mouse with Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse is prosperous.
No one says that Mickey Mouse believes in the health and wealth doctrine.
Nobody says that. But I tell you, I tell you, you need to cancel someone, you must cancel Mickey Mouse.
No, of course not. Don’t blame Mickey, don’t blame Minnie. Don’t blame Donald (Duck).”
In the sermon last Sunday, on 26 Mar 2023,
Joseph Prince said he loves his critics,
and in this sermon, he makes fun of them
with Church Mouse, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.
How can Joseph Prince,
who claims to love his critics
and also makes fun of them?
Isn’t he hypocritical?
Joseph Prince is so vindictive that he sure knows how to rub salt into his critics’ wounds
by getting his whole congregation to participate in the mocking and fun-making exercise
– through their scornful and gleeful laughter and cheering their chief fun-maker, Joseph Prince on,
with their enthusiastic hand-clapping.
Friends, this is the real Joseph Prince that I’m unveiling for you.
This is the kind of guy you are dealing with.
Joseph Prince said;
“There will be people who will be jealous of you.”
How can Joseph Prince say he loves his critics,
and then speak ill of them
by accusing them of being jealous of him?
But what did 1 Corinthians 13:4 tell us?
1 Corinthians 13:4 NASB
4 Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous; love does not brag, it is not arrogant.
How can one who genuinely loves and not be jealous of others,
be accusing others that he loves for being jealous of him?
It just doesn’t square, does it?
In a Sunday sermon, Joseph Prince said;
Please click here to view the 30-second video:
“People who are religious will hate you.”
“The only one He didn’t have favour with are the holier than thou, self-righteous people. Okay, so you’re not above your master.
These people will still write about you. Blog about you. YouTube you. YouTube you.
Yes, you know. Oh, they will do things like that. Amen.”
How can Joseph Prince who said he loves his critics,
be scorning and slandering them publicly,
as religious and self-righteous individuals
just because they criticised his false grace teachings?
Can a person who teaches true grace and has become world-famous because of his grace doctrine
be behaving in that ungracious and vindictive manner?
If Joseph Prince can’t even practice what he teaches
– showing true love and true grace to his critics
– the love that he expresses to his critics is all a farce.
Friends, this is the real Joseph Prince that I’m unveiling for you.
Let me show you another true colour of Joseph Prince in his response to his critics.
In a Sunday sermon, Joseph Prince said;
Please click here to view the 30-second video:
“Every Pastor listening to me must understand, we are what we are, whatever influence because God wants us to give us the influence.
If God doesn’t, no matter what you say, doesn’t amount to a hill of beans.
Pastor Prince believe this, but I believe this. Let God give you the influence.
But if God doesn’t, I want to know why.
If God doesn’t, then don’t just be like a little puppy, yaking a lot, whereas a bull dog, big one, quiet.”
Joseph Prince seems rather mad at his critics that he even resorted to calling Pastors (that we ought to respect) who criticise him
as puppies who yak a lot.
Degrading Pastors to the level of animals
is certainly a very ungracious act,
and it ought not to have come
from a so-called world-renowned grace preacher,
who has made it big because of his grace doctrine.
Have you noticed that the retaliatory response from Joseph Prince in this video,
is so different from his most recent video on 26 Mar 2023, which he portrayed himself as one who loves his critics.
So, is Joseph Prince who dares to call Pastors who contend against his teachings
as puppies who yak a lot,
loving to his critics?
Of course not!
Obviously, Prince is just putting on a show to gain the moral high ground against his critics.
In a Sunday sermon, Joseph Prince said;
Please click here to view the 30-second video:
“And stop looking at YouTubes of pastors or ministers that condemn another minister.”
“Stop giving them hits. You see the kind of thing, don’t tune in. Don’t be part of that.”
“If you are jealous, say you are jealous. Don’t bring your jealousy into the social media and poison everybody.
Oh, we are just asking for accountability of doctrine. People must be accountable – accountable to who? Maybe God revealed to that brother a revelation.”
How can Joseph Prince claim that someone is jealous unless he knows them well
as this is an inner motive that is rather difficult to judge and tricky to discern?
Is Joseph Prince God
who knows the real and inner motives of people, apart from their outward actions,
as outward actions can betray one’s inner motives?
One who preaches God’s grace and love in a gentle way
may be doing it out of an ulterior motive.
Another who preaches God’s anger and wrath in a stern manner
may be doing it out of a pure motive.
What concrete proof has Joseph Prince given
before he accuses his critics, publicly, on the Holy pulpit of jealousy?
Zero proof to show for!
If Joseph Prince has provided zero proof that his critics are jealous,
he is doing nothing but slandering them.
Prince ought to be aware that the Bible
treats the sin of slander rather seriously:
Proverbs 10:18 NIV
18 Whoever conceals hatred with lying lips and spreads slander is a fool.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NIV
9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
Mark 7:20-22 NIV
20 He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. 21 For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come – sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”
Joseph Prince accuses his critics of being jealous of him.
The following ministers:
David Pawson, Derek Prince, John Piper, John MacArthur, Martyn Lloyd-Jones, Michael Brown, Justin Peters, Bishop Ho Chee Sin, Bishop Kuan Kim Seng, Bishop Andrew Phang, Dr Roland Chia, Dr Simon Chong, Rev David Liew, Rev Tan Cheng Huat, Rev Lawrence Yam, Rev Arnold Rajan, and many others,
have all been critics of Prince’s False Grace Teaching and his False Prosperity Gospel Doctrine.
Do you honestly believe that these preachers, who are well-respected,
are people who act out of jealousy
when they criticise Joseph Prince’s teachings?
There is at least one other critic who has written volumes of articles and produced many YouTube videos against Joseph Prince’s character and teachings.
Are these based on the Bible and hard facts about what Joseph Prince specifically said and taught in his videos and books
that can be challenged and disputed?
Or are they merely broad, general, false and slanderous accusations and character assassinations
that Joseph Prince has levelled against his critics
that cannot be challenged or disputed
– and that’s why he is adopting this safe approach?
Prince has deceptively framed the whole issue as jealousy as a distraction,
so he can get out of answering all those specific accusations against him,
that are based on the Bible and the hard facts of what he specifically said and taught in his videos and books.
In one broad stroke, Prince can destroy his critics (for those who are convinced by Prince)
and also avoid answering all the specific accusations against him that he is a liar, a hypocrite and a heretic
– and all these have been based on hard facts,
and not slanderous accusations and character assassinations
that Prince has committed against his critics.
Let’s just assume (only assume) that ministers such as,
David Pawson, Derek Prince, John Piper, John MacArthur, Martyn Lloyd-Jones, Michael Brown, Justin Peters, Bishop Ho Chee Sin, Bishop Kuan Kim Seng, Bishop Andrew Phang, Dr Roland Chia, Dr Simon Chong, Rev David Liew, Rev Tan Cheng Huat, Rev Lawrence Yam, Rev Arnold Rajan, myself, and many others,
who criticised Joseph Prince’s teachings
are really jealous of Joseph Prince’s success:
Does it change the fact that Joseph Prince has falsely accused the Lord Jesus, who is God Himself, as a false prophet, when he (Prince) said those who prophesy judgement under the New Covenant are false prophets?
Does it change the fact that “No virus can come near you” is a scam and a lie that Joseph Prince has concocted and taught as part of his Prosperity Gospel doctrine because millions of Christians have been infected and thousands of them have died from it (assuming just 1 percent of believers of the world’s total)?
Does it change the fact that Joseph Prince is teaching a different Jesus that is not from the Bible, especially when he teaches against the Great Commission, self-denial and taking up the cross, topics that are the nearest and dearest to the heart of Jesus?
Does it change the fact that Joseph Prince is a liar for the umpteen number of times when he said he has interpreted a passage in context when he hasn’t?
Etc.
In a Sunday sermon, Joseph Prince said;
Please click here to listen to the 25-second audio:
“I saw a lady shaking her head. Alright, don’t take offense, okay. But if you take offense, I have five words for you. Five words of grace: ‘I don’t give a rip.’
Okay anyway, moving right along. (Joseph Prince is laughing). You have to, you know, to have a big church like this. If you give a rip for what everybody thinks and all that, you will never be able to survive. Amen. I am under grace. New management system.”
For the life of me, how can a super-grace teacher like Joseph Prince behave in such an ungracious manner
to someone who was attending his church that Sunday just because she disagreed with his teaching?
Unimaginable!
Joseph Prince said,
“I saw a lady shaking her head. Alright, don’t take offense, okay.
But if you take offense, I have five words for you. Five words of grace: ‘I don’t give a rip.’”
How can these five words, ‘I don’t give a rip’
be words of grace, as Joseph Prince has made them out to be?
This is adding insult to injury!
These words are more akin to words of ‘law’.
So, is Joseph Prince a grace teacher or a law preacher?
We are now getting all confused!
These five words, ‘I don’t give a rip’
are obviously words of sarcasm
in Joseph Prince’s blunt retort against the lady.
One who loves his critics will never do that!
I have made another discovery that this part of the audio
isn’t found in the audio that New Creation Church has put for sale (the video form is not available for sale).
The one that I am in possession of
is the original audio when it was first produced.
Obviously, Joseph Prince and New Creation Church
had censored it.
Why did they censor it?
Simple!
To hide and remove the evidence of Joseph Prince’s real character
– that he is intolerant of criticisms and critics,
and wouldn’t hesitate to tick off and embarrass anyone who disagrees with him
in front of the whole congregation
– which I am now exposing for the world to see.
This is one piece of evidence that New Creation Church and Joseph Prince
have covered up Prince’s real character by censoring evidence.
Even ‘law preachers’ (not that we are but that’s what Joseph Prince characterised us) such as us,
won’t even dare to do what Prince did on the pulpit
– castigating and embarrassing a member of the congregation for disagreeing with him, publicly.
But what is ironic and unbelievable is that it was the super-grace teacher, Joseph Prince, who did it.
If a grace teacher like Joseph Prince doesn’t even practice what he preaches,
letting the grace of God to be displayed in and through his life,
the game is as good as over.
I want you to know that it is a massive and arduous job trying to uncover the real character of Joseph Prince
by pouring over many of Joseph Prince’s previously recorded messages one by one like a busy detective.
But it is worth it all to expose the real Joseph Prince, the wolf in sheepskin, for the world to see,
so that those sheep who are warned could be protected from harm.
Finally, in a Sunday sermon, Joseph Prince said;
Please click here to listen to the 45-second audio:
“I never knew persecution until I preach the gospel of grace. And then I became famous.
I want to go on record saying I want to thank everyone who spoke bad about me because many people didn’t even hear about me, but because of you now, they know.
And honestly, many people never heard about New Creation Church. But thanks to you, speaking things against our church.
People come and try to check us out, many of them never check out. They became permanent residents.
So, I have to say thank you very much. Appreciate the free advertisement.”
If you want to learn how to be a biting sarcastic preacher, and acquire the skill of using sarcasm with finesse against your critics, look no further
– Prince, who is unequalled, is the one you ought to learn from.
Those who wish to learn about the creative art of making fun of people in style without appearing overly offensive and yet still achieving the same biting effect,
Joseph Prince is also the Guru that you should look up to.
Come to think of it
– how can Joseph Prince, who is the world’s best-known Grace Teacher,
and who is supposed to be gracious and loving even to his critics,
act in that sarcastic way to them?
Try to reconcile that!
It looks like his own grace teaching has not even affected his own life – the Super Grace Teacher
– so how then can it affect others?
Try to reconcile between a master-teacher of grace who claims he loves his critics
and someone who is sarcastic and likes to poke fun at them
– tough, isn’t it?
This is also another recording that is in my possession,
which reveals how Joseph Prince had sarcastically made fun of his critics
– and this recording has also been censored from the original audio.
Why did Joseph Prince and New Creation Church censor it?
It is to remove the evidence that the world’s best-known Grace teacher, Joseph Prince,
is also a sarcastic preacher,
who likes to make fun of his critics
– and by the way, that’s his real character.
So, with all the evidence I have marshalled before your eyes,
I hope you are convinced that Joseph Prince’s claim
that he loves his critics is just playacting,
calculated to gain the moral high ground
against his critics in order to put them to shame.
