Article 1: Joseph Prince Vs Kong Hee, Zac Poonen & Michael Brown’s teaching on healing

Article 2: Joseph Prince has no right to teach healing because his doctrine forbids it

Article 3: Joseph Prince’s mother of all contradictions makes him a fool

– By Rev George Ong (Dated 22 Mar 2024)

Announcement No 1:

There is 1 video each on

Kong Hee, Michael Brown and Zac Poonen,

and a bumper of 9 videos on Joseph Prince.

Announcement No 2:

Don’t miss the excellent article

written by Michael Brown on healing.

Announcement No 3:

As announced, my availability is limited

starting from next week and especially in April.

But this doesn’t mean I will be out of action.

It just means you will hear from me

not as often as you did. Thanks.

Excerpt No 1 from the Article:

Don’t miss the mother of all contradictions in Article 3.

After going through the mother of all contradictions

caused by Joseph Prince,

and despite that,

millions have still chosen to follow him,

leaves you with a mixed feeling of not knowing

whether you should laugh or cry.

Excerpt No 2 from the Article:

Have you noticed that it was not Kong Hee

but the cell group who prayed

that resulted in the healing of the man

who had prostate cancer.

In the case of New Creation Church,

the only person to glorify is Joseph Prince

as testimonies after testimonies of healings

would be ascribed to him.

Seldom do I hear a cell group prayed

or a certain Pastor from the church prayed

that resulted in someone’s healing.

The name of the game

is that Joseph Prince’s name must be mentioned

in most of the healing testimonies.

Something is seriously wrong here.

Joseph Prince wants the glory.

That’s why he himself is promoting hero worship.

Have you ever wondered why only Joseph Prince

is allowed to conduct an extended healing time

during worship services,

but none of his Pastors are allowed to?

Excerpt No 3 from the Article:

Joseph Prince needs to quit talking and start acting

by going to the third world nations

to prove that his Health and Wealth doctrine really works.

The poor Third World nations need Joseph Prince

and his ministry of wealth and health

much more than Singapore do

– so please go there.

Go and start to deliver the people there

from their sicknesses

and from poverty and make them wealthy.

Do you wish to know the reason Joseph Prince

is focussing on the First World Singapore

instead of the Third World?

The open secret is that

Joseph Prince’s Health and Wealth Theology

can only ‘work’ in Singapore

and only at New Creation Church.

This is because those

who continue to stay at New Creation Church

are diehard fans of Joseph Prince

and they will stay utterly loyal to him, no matter what.

They will defend him all the way.

Many will play the game with Joseph Prince

and say they are healed at the worship services

even though they aren’t,

thinking that that is exercising faith

to eventually get healed.

Many are unlikely to confess that they are sick,

or that they are not healed,

because that would be agreeing with the devil,

and acknowledging these lying symptoms

that they aren’t healed

came from Satan!

So, you must not believe all these so-called healings

that Joseph Prince is trying to conjure up

at his weekly worship services at New Creation Church.

To prove that Joseph Prince is used by God in healing,

I dare him to start healing services

comprising a neutral crowd

with no one from New Creation Church.

I can guarantee that it will be a total flop

Why?

Because Prince will not have his ardent supporters there

to play the healing games with him.

This channel has definitely given me wake-up pills,

not sugar-coated rat poison

from false teachers and manipulative liars.

If you care about your salvation

(it matters because its life forever),

and if you want to safeguard your money

from money wolves,

this should be one of your go-to channels.”

“Joseph Prince is an unbeliever

using the Holy Bible as content

to make money from other unbelievers.

New Creation Church is merely a commercial enterprise.

Thank God for Rev George Ong, whose efforts

continue to help believers to see the truth

and stop them from following Joseph Prince.”

Thank you, Rev George Ong.

Without him, many would not have been delivered

and rescued from bondage.

Pastor Ong is God’s gracious gift to the Church.”

“Leaders have to be vulnerable and transparent.

Obviously, Joseph Prince is not.

His messages are unrealistic, illogical and misinterpreted.

It’s not practical especially for people

who are struggling in their walk with God

or struggling with sin.

A few rare cases are being announced and testified,

but how many cases are really helped.

Just like when Costi Hinn shared

that he has not seen a single real miracle in the crusades

that his uncle, Benny Hinn, has preached.

“Rev Ong, continue the good works

for exposing false teachers.

Keep pressing forward.

I think false teachers are exposing themselves

as you keep pressing forward.

These false teachers are eating their bad fruits

and stumbling by their own words.

We shall pray for you, supporting your ministry.”

“Dear Rev George Ong, we thank you for your video today

and the transcript as well.

Very informative. Very thorough and professionally done.

Easy to read and follow.”

@WordsofGodThe

“Let’s be honest, what happens

if we keep listening to this kind of preaching day and night,

that “the devil is here, and there, and everywhere”?

https://youtu.be/g4R-iLMKoBU?si=P-lyDejW-YqyciCV&t=88

Don’t say if it is preached with occultic spell

on the superstitious believers,

even if it is preached without occultic spell,

after one month,

even a non-religious person will be so brainwashed

that he starts to see the ‘devil’

everywhere in everyone too,

including his boss, peers, former pastor,

and everyone who disagrees with him

or who cannot work with him.

I believe that that is the most probable explanation

why Joseph Prince wants to talk so much about the ‘devil’.

He knows that that is the most ‘effective’, ‘creative’

and ‘addictive’ way of getting all the believers,

as well as non-believers, to keep listening to him,

“so that they will not be robbed by the devil

who comes to kill, steal, and destroy”

(of course, this is quoted from the Bible by Joseph Prince too).

In fact, all his preaching sounds very ‘scriptural’,

but when it is preached under the influence of occultic spell,

it becomes very satanic and very subtle.”

In a Sunday sermon aired on YouTube,

17 Mar 2024, 5 days ago, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 30-second video:

“Or, they’ll say things like,

you can pray for healing,

but ultimately,

whether you are healed or not,

it is God’s will.

That means, if you are not healed, it is God’s will.

When you believe that, for example,

God doesn’t heal everyone today.

Then the moment you become sick,

the doctor says I got bad news for you

and all that, you might think that

you are one of those that God will not heal.

Now, once you believe a lie,

that’s how you become depressed.”

Joseph Prince said 3 things here:

First, he said that it is God’s will to heal everyone.

By that, he is also saying God must heal everyone.

Second, Joseph Prince said that

to believe that God does not heal everyone

is to believe a lie.

Third, Joseph Prince said that

if you believe the lie

that God does not heal everyone

is the reason you become depressed.

I don’t even have to elaborate on each of these 3 points,

for you to detect

that something is seriously wrong

with Joseph Prince’s Health and Wealth teachings.

In a sermon, Zac Poonen said;

Please click here to view the 15-second video:

“There’s no promise in the Bible

that God will heal us from every sickness.

And there’s no human being

who has ever experienced healing from every sickness.

We should not fool people about that.”

It behooves us to listen

to the wise words of Zac Poonen on healing,

in relation to the dangerous teachings of Joseph Prince

on the same subject.

Joseph Prince frequently uses the Straw man argument

– that just because

we speak against his Health and Wealth doctrine,

we are against healing

– a deceptive way of misrepresenting us to his people.

Who is against healing?

What we are against

is Joseph Prince’s false and dangerous way of teaching healing.

But we rejoice with every report of healing

regardless of which church they come from;

provided they are teaching true grace

and not the Pseudo grace of Joseph Prince;

provided they are teaching the right doctrine on healing

and not the twisted way that Joseph Prince teaches it.

A good example is Kong Hee.

In a sermon, Kong Hee said;

Please click here to view the 1-minute video:

“How, last year, we prayed for a brother

with stage 4 prostate cancer.

The cancer already spread to the bones, to the lungs.

The oncologist says there’s just no cure for him.

But the cell group prayed.

All the white spots on the lungs disappeared.

The cancer marker went down to zero.

There’s no more cancer in the prostate in the liver,

in the stomach, in the colon.

We are not surprised because our Pentecostal theology

allows for divine healing.

Come on, let’s give the Lord a big hand.

Come on, church, let’s give the Lord a big clap.

Hallelujah!

Turn to your neighbours on your left and right say,

“You can believe for healing.”

Now can we guarantee healing every time we pray?

Of course not!

Healing is God’ prerogative.

He’s the healer, not you and I.”

Next, we can certainly rejoice

at the healing that took place at City Harvest Church

because Kong Hee teaches the correct doctrine on healing.

But we cannot rejoice, and in fact, we must oppose

what is happening at New Creation Church

because of Joseph Prince’s false and dangerous teaching

on healing.

Kong Hee is right to say that while we can pray for healing,

no one can guarantee that healing will always take place,

as whether a person is healed or not,

is finally God’s prerogative, not ours.

What Kong Hee teaches on healing

is rather different from the way Joseph Prince does it.

Watching the next 2 videos will enable you to understand why.

In 2 sermons, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here to view the 1-minute video:

“You see, it’s not I’m trying to be healed, Pastor Prince,

for many, many, many years now,

I’m trying to be healed.

Friend, you got it wrong,

you’re not trying to be healed.

You are the healed.

You are the healed.

Then why am I having the sickness?

The devil is trying to steal your healing.

And the devil wants your mentality

to be that you are not healed.

Are you with me so far?”

“The devil wants you to think

there’s a place called ‘healed’

and you are not healed.

There’s a place called ‘healed’.

You see, you must do your best to go there.

And he will try to bring in;

but you must be obedient enough to reach there.

You must be holy enough to reach there.

You must be good enough to reach there.

And you are never there.

Actually, that’s not the truth.

The truth is you’re already there.

You are the healed

and the devil is trying to take your healing.

And you’re saying

‘No, this is a lying symptom.’

‘No Lord, this is your battle.’

‘I’m already healed.’

‘This is your battle, Lord.’

‘I’m already healed.’

This is your battle, Lord.’

‘I’m already healed.’

It’s not like you are trying to take your healing.

No, the devil is trying to take your healing.”

What Joseph Prince is saying

is to accept that you are already healed,

no matter what

because he teaches that

God will heal and must heal every believer.

Such a teaching will put pressure on those who are not healed

to say they are healed even though they aren’t,

as Joseph Prince said

if they still have the mentality that they aren’t healed,

it is the devil who wants them to have this mentality.

It’s the devil who puts this lying symptom

that they aren’t healed into them.

And so to free themselves from the devil’s influence,

they are likely to declare that they are healed

even though they aren’t.

I have heard Joseph Prince taught that

they are to declare by faith that they are healed

and even to treat it as if they are healed,

even though they aren’t.

That is why in many testimonies

given during the worship services at New Creation Church,

when people declared that they are healed,

they may not be healed at that point of time

when they say they are healed

as they have been conditioned by Joseph Prince

to do and act in this way.

When you view the next video,

you would understand what I mean

This happened in a worship service in March this year;

Please click here to view the 30-second video:

“Lawrence: We have a sister here

who has experienced hip pain

and she’s healed.

Joseph Prince: How long you had the pain, sister?

Sister: For half a year.

Joseph Prince: Another chronic problem. Quite some time.

And when you move certain way, you feel the pain?

Sister: Yes, correct.

Joseph Prince: And now, when you move?

Sister: Ya. much better. Much better, so much better.

Joseph Prince: But there is still a bit of, is not complete yet?

Sister: Yes, correct. But there’s a bit of pain. Still have.”

As you have witnessed,

the reason why Lawrence announced that the lady was healed

was because she had told him.

Or Lawrence wouldn’t be so daring to say

what the lady didn’t tell him to.

But after some interactions with Joseph Prince,

the truth is finally out,

that there was still pain.

Whether it is a bit or a lot of pain;

the fact remains she wasn’t healed.

So, I’m sure you can now see the pressure

that his people are faced with

when they are asked by Joseph Prince

whether they are healed.

Poor lady.

And even if they are not healed,

they would declare that they are.

This is because they are merely following Joseph Prince’s teaching

that they are to declare by faith

that they are healed even though they aren’t;

of course, hoping that they will be eventually healed

because of their faith.

In an interview, Michael Brown said;

Please click here to view the 30-second video:

“But I understand in this world,

we do not see everything.

And if I pray for the sick

and they are not healed,

I worship God just the same way

I honour Him and praise Him,

just the same way I encourage that person

to serve the Lord

just the same way,

even though I know that it’s not the ultimate best for us

to have sickness and pain in this world.

I also know that in this world,

we will suffer in different ways

and through it,

we can still grow and become more like Jesus.”

Did Michael Brown say that

just because a person is not healed,

it is because of the devil?

On the contrary,

Michael Brown said that even though one isn’t healed,

we can through such difficulties

grow to become more like Jesus.

In ‘Has God Failed You,’

Michael Brown wrote:

“The wrong theology I am referring to

is the theology that tells you that

true believers never get sick.

That if you have enough faith,

you can just rebuke sickness and pain

and, 100 times out of 100,

the sickness and the pain will disappear.

That people with the gift of healing will see perfect results.

That a good God

would never allow His children to suffer pain,

let alone die of a debilitating sickness.

That, in Jesus,

you are even protected from car accidents

and natural disasters.

All if you have enough faith!

As we will see in chapter 9,

the book of Job addresses this wrong theology head on.

Sometimes tragic things happen

to the godliest people in the world,

the result of which is acute suffering.

That’s in the Bible, too.

… Unfortunately, many Christians today

have been taught a false message

that leads to unrealistic expectations.

And when those expectations are shattered,

they lose faith entirely.

They conclude that the Bible is not true

and that the God of the Bible is not real.

In reality, the problem was never the Bible or the God of the Bible.

It was a false picture of the Bible and the God of the Bible.

… It’s the same with the Bible and healing.

The promises are real,

and there are countless testimonies of miraculous healing.

They cannot be denied,

and they point to the reality of God

and the truthfulness of His Word.

But the Bible also speaks of people who were not healed.

It even speaks of people close to the apostle Paul

who were not healed.

One was Timothy who was a spiritual son to Paul.

Paul wrote to him urging,

“Stop drinking only water,

and use a little wine because of your stomach

and your frequent illnesses” (1 Timothy 5:23).

Wine was sometimes used medicinally in the ancient world,

and Paul told Timothy to drink some because of his health issues.

Why didn’t the mighty apostle

drive the sickness out of Timothy,

tell him to exercise his own faith for healing,

or have others in the community pray for him?

We simply do not know.

But we do know:

1. Paul was not afraid to speak openly about Timothy’s frequent illnesses.

2. This did not mean that Timothy did not have faith.

3. He gave Timothy practical, medical advice rather than counsel him only to pray until a miracle happened.

In another letter, Paul says this in passing,

“I left Trophimus sick in Miletus” (2 Timothy 4:20).

We do not know why Trophimus was sick,

but Paul was not afraid to say that he was sick.

His sickness did not reflect badly on either of them.

Some scholars believe that Paul, himself,

battled with sickness,

perhaps even chronically (see Galatians 4:13-14; 2 Corinthians 12:6-8; 1 Corinthians 2:3).

Yet without question,

God performed many miracles through him.

That means you can have the gift of healing

without being healed yourself.

In this world, people get sick,

including followers of Jesus.

There are men and women of God who are invalids.

There are paraplegics and quadriplegics

who are champions in the faith.

That is a fact of life.

One of the most joy-filled,

confident men of God I have ever met

was a brother from Africa who was living in Boston.

When he was a boy,

a serious disease ravaged his village and killed many.

He went blind, but lived,

and he considered himself blessed to be alive.

After moving to the states and graduating from college,

he attained a law degree and went into pastoral ministry.

Unfortunately, some Christians have been misled terribly

by their teachers to the point

that they will not even admit to being sick.

“If I confess that I’m sick,

then I’m agreeing with the devil.

I will not acknowledge these lying symptoms!”

… What, then, is a right theology of healing?

One extreme says that God no longer heals

and that the promises of healing and miracles

were for Bible days alone.

The Bible clearly refutes that view, as does Church history.

The other extreme says that God always heals

and that if you have enough faith,

you will never get sick.

Other verses in the Bible refute this,

along with the experience of several billion believers

over the last two thousand years.

The right theology leaves us with a holy tension.

It promises healing

and encourages us to ask God for healing,

assuring us that miracles do happen.

But it also reminds us

that we are in a fallen, broken world,

that we have not yet arrived

in the perfect world to come,

and that in this world

there will be pain, sickness and premature death.

Yet we also recognize that miracles are not the norm.

Our bodies wear out…

Calamities and tragedies befall us,

and we sometimes get sick.

That is in the Bible, too.

It is not only for the wicked

but for the righteous as well.

So, God did not fail you after all.

A wrong theology may have let you down,

and I am truly sorry you were taught poorly.

That only poured salt into your wounds.

But the solution is not to abandon the Lord.

The solution is to abandon the wrong theology

and to embrace the right theology of the Word.

It may not always be simple, but it is true.

We live in the age of “already but not yet,”

meaning the age in which many of God’s eternal promises

have broken through in this world,

but we have not yet seen the fullness of those promises.

That means you can take every miraculous intervention

as a token of the goodness of the world to come,

a world in which there is no sickness, pain or suffering,

while still living in this broken, imperfect world.

And whether we are healthy or sick,

or whether we live or die,

we learn that Jesus is more than enough.

Once you grab hold of that,

you will never be shaken.”

If you have been observant, Michael Brown addressed

many of the false and dangerous teachings of Joseph Prince.

Let me just repeat some of what Michael Brown wrote

that exposed Joseph Prince’s erroneous teachings on healing:

Quote No 1:

“That a good God

would never allow His children to suffer pain,

let alone die of a debilitating sickness.

That, in Jesus,

you are even protected from car accidents

and natural disasters.

All if you have enough faith!”

Quote No 2:

“Sometimes tragic things happen

to the godliest people in the world,

the result of which is acute uffering.

That’s in the Bible, too.

… Unfortunately, many Christians today

have been taught a false message

that leads to unrealistic expectations.

And when those expectations are shattered,

they lose faith entirely.

Quote No 3:

“But the Bible also speaks of people who were not healed.

It even speaks of people close to the apostle Paul

who were not healed.”

Quote No 4:

“and that in this world

there will be pain, sickness and premature death.

Yet we also recognize that miracles are not the norm.

Our bodies wear out…

Calamities and tragedies befall us,

and we sometimes get sick.

That is in the Bible, too.

It is not only for the wicked

but for the righteous as well.”

Quote No 5:

“And whether we are healthy or sick,

or whether we live or die,

we learn that Jesus is more than enough.

Once you grab hold of that,

you will never be shaken.”

Quote No 6:

“Unfortunately, some Christians have been misled terribly

by their teachers to the point

that they will not even admit to being sick.

“If I confess that I’m sick,

then I’m agreeing with the devil.

I will not acknowledge these lying symptoms!”

George Ong’s comments:

If you compare what Michael Brown wrote in the above

and what Joseph Prince said below:

“You are the healed

and the devil is trying to take your healing.

And you’re saying

‘No, this is a lying symptom,’”

you would see that the teaching on healing

between Michael Brown and that of Joseph Prince

is diametrically opposed.

Joseph Prince needs to quit talking and start acting

by going to the third world nations

to prove that his Health and Wealth doctrine really works.

If Prince really believes in his Health and Wealth doctrine,

why isn’t he focussing his ministry efforts

on the Third World nations

such as Myanmar, Laos, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, etc.

These are the countries that need his secret

on how to be healthy and wealthy,

and not places like Singapore, America, Australia and Europe

that he is constantly focussing his preaching efforts on.

Joseph Prince is wasting his time

preaching in First World Singapore

– as she is already wealthy

and has a much more advanced level of health care

as compared to those in the Third World

– so they don’t need his Health and Wealth Gospel.

The poor Third World nations need Joseph Prince

and his ministry of wealth and health

much more than Singapore do

– so please go there.

Go and start to deliver the people there

from their sicknesses

and from poverty and make them wealthy.

Could Joseph Prince tell us

when was the last time

he went to a third world nation to preach

so they don’t have to remain poor

but they would become rich

and so that they could be healed of their diseases?

I am not asking his pastors but Joseph Prince,

since he is making the claim

that the gospel would make the poor rich

and the sick well.

And would Joseph Prince

dare to tell these village and bare-footed folks;

“Just enjoy the grace of God,

and you will be wealthy like the First World.

Just receive grace into your life

and your diseases will be healed.”

Do you wish to know the reason Joseph Prince

is focussing on the First World Singapore

instead of the Third World?

The open secret is that

Joseph Prince’s Health and Wealth Theology

can only ‘work’ in Singapore

and only at New Creation Church.

This is because those

who continue to stay at New Creation Church

are diehard fans of Joseph Prince

and they will stay utterly loyal to him, no matter what.

They will defend him all the way.

Many will play the game with Joseph Prince

and say they are healed at the worship services

even though they aren’t,

thinking that that is exercising faith

to eventually get healed.

Many are unlikely to confess that they are sick,

or that they are not healed,

because that would be agreeing with the devil,

and acknowledging these lying symptoms

that they aren’t healed

came from Satan!

So you must not believe all these so-called healings

that Joseph Prince is trying to conjure up

at his weekly worship services at New Creation Church.

To prove that Joseph Prince is used by God in healing,

I dare him to start healing services

comprising a neutral crowd

with no one from New Creation Church.

I can guarantee that it will be a total flop

Why?

Because Prince will not have his ardent supporters there

to play the healing games with him.

Are you aware that Joseph Prince never or hardly goes

to the Third World to preach.

(Please Lah, sending your staff there, not counted.)

After viewing his weekly worship services and his sermons

for a continual 7 years

and after viewing the plenty of Joseph Prince’s videos

there isn’t a single time I heard about him

going to the Third World to minister.

(Yes, First World a lot

– boast of meeting this Vice-President of a country

and the Prime Minister of a nation

– very boastful

– that he displayed the pictures he took with them to the world.)

Come on, Joseph Prince,

it’s time for you to go to the Third World

and prove to the whole world

that your healing really works there too,

as much as it did in Singapore

and only at your New Creation Church.

Joseph Prince is sorely afraid to go to the Third World

as he knows his healing wouldn’t work there.

No wonder Joseph Prince never goes personally

to do his healing ministry in the Third World.

Article 2: Joseph Prince has no right to teach healing because his doctrine forbids it – By Rev George Ong

In a Sunday sermon aired on YouTube,

17 Mar 2024, 5 days ago, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 45-second video:

“Why is it that we see Him,

God in human flesh going around

healing the sick.

Never making well people sick.

Always making sick people well.

Jesus presents God.

He that has seen me has seen the Father

and He went around healing.

Never making people who are well sick.

Never.

You find me one verse that says that,

then I believe God might heal,

sometimes, God might not heal.

Why is it the Bible never tells us things like,

expect to become old and decrepit (decaying),

expect to become sicker and sicker

because that’s the norm and the portion of the world.”

Joseph Prince said:

“Why it is that we see Him,

God in human flesh going around

healing the sick.

… Jesus presents God.

He that has seen me has seen the Father

and He went around healing.”

Joseph Prince has always been using

the healing ministry of Jesus in the gospels

as the doctrinal foundation

of his Health and Wealth Gospel

and his healing ministry.

But are you aware

that Joseph Prince is prohibited

by his own grace teaching

to even teach that?

In ‘Unmerited Favor’, Joseph Prince wrote,

“However, the new covenant

does not actually begin with the four Gospels

of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John

as these books deal predominantly

with the life of Jesus before the cross.

In fact, the new covenant

begins after the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Hence, the cross is our clearest marking point

of where the new covenant begins.”

In a sermon, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here to view the 5-second video:

“Matthew, Mark, Luke and John

is Jesus still under the law.

All his disciples were under Law.”

Joseph Prince had categorically stated

that Jesus’s ministry in the gospels, which includes healing,

is under the Old Covenant of Law.

So, how can Joseph Prince use the Old Covenant of Law

which, according to his grace teaching,

isn’t relevant for New Covenant believers

as the basis for his healing ministry?

What a mess-up by Joseph Prince!

There are no two ways about it.

Joseph Prince would have to publicly recant

what he wrote in ‘Unmerited Favor’,

and what he said on video

that Jesus in the gospels was under the law.

If he refuses to,

then, Joseph Prince has no right to teach healing

as his healing doctrine

is based on the Old Covenant of Law.

Joseph Prince said:

“Never making well people sick.

Always making sick people well.

… Never making people who are well sick.

Never.”

Since Joseph Prince is treating

Jesus, the Son and God, the Father as one

in what he said in the video,

we shall also treat them as one.

In other words, what one does

is also what the other will do.

Joseph Prince said Jesus, the Son, or God, the Father

never make people who are well sick.

But didn’t God say that He was the one

who sent sickness and even death to the Corinthians

because they dishonoured the Holy Communion:

1 Corinthians 11:27-30 NIV

27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.

Didn’t Paul teach in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 NLT

that God can destroy any of His New Covenantal people

for destroying His temple?

“Don’t you realize that

all of you together are the temple of God

and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

God will destroy anyone

who destroys this temple.

For God’s temple is holy,

and you are that temple” (1 Cor 3:16-17 NLT).

The context is that the Corinthians

were ‘fighting’ with each other

and causing divisions in the body

– tantamount to destroying the church,

being the temple of God.

And God will not allow this to happen,

and if necessary,

He will destroy the individual believer

who is trying to destroy the church.

but Paul wrote that God is the one

who will destroy that person (1 Cor 3:17 NIV).

If God is prepared to destroy a believer,

why wouldn’t He afflict him with sickness

to get him to come to his senses

and repent and turn from his wicked ways?

If God the Father is prepared

to destroy His own Covenantal Children,

what about the Lord Jesus?

Didn’t Jesus say in Revelation 2:21-23

that He would make His children

who have allowed themselves

to be influenced by heretical teachings

(Joseph Prince, the heretic, you better watch out!)

to suffer a deadly disease

and He would even kill them?

21 I have given her time to repent,

but she is not willing to repent of her sexual immorality.

22 Look! I am throwing her onto a bed of violent illness,

and those who commit adultery with her

into terrible suffering,

unless they repent of her deeds.

23 Furthermore, I will strike her followers

with a deadly disease, (Rev 2:21-23 NET)

(Please see the Appendix for 17 other translations of Revelation 2:20-23.)

Jesus said that it is He Himself

who would make the kill:

“I will strike her children dead…”

If Jesus had warned that

He could even strike the unrepentant believers dead,

why wouldn’t He send sickness to afflict them

for their good?

Joseph Prince said:

“Why is it the Bible never tells us things like,

expect to become old and decrepit (decaying),

expect to become sicker and sicker

because that’s the norm and the portion of the world.”

Joseph Prince lied against his so-called mentor, Paul,

as Paul did say

that our physical bodies

are gradually decaying, dying and wearing out:

2 Corinthians 4:16 CEB

16 So we aren’t depressed. But even if our bodies are breaking down on the outside, the person that we are on the inside is being renewed every day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 CEV

16 We never give up. Our bodies are gradually dying, but we ourselves are being made stronger each day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 ERV

16 That is why we never give up. Our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new every day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 GW

16 That is why we are not discouraged. Though outwardly we are wearing out, inwardly we are renewed day by day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 TLB

16 That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our inner strength in the Lord is growing every day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 GNT

16 For this reason we never become discouraged. Even though our physical being is gradually decaying, yet our spiritual being is renewed day after day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 NLV

16 This is the reason we do not give up. Our human body is wearing out. But our spirits are getting stronger every day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 NLT

16 That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.

Joseph Prince blatantly lied

that he had learnt his grace theology from Paul,

as Paul was never the Health and Wealth teacher

that Joseph Prince is.

Article 3: Joseph Prince’s mother of all contradictions makes him a fool – By Rev George Ong

In a Sunday sermon aired on YouTube,

17 Mar 2024, 5 days ago, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 20-second video:

“People get angry when I share things like

we are not under the law

that says thou shall love God with all your heart,

all your soul, all your mind, all your strength

but we are under grace

that says God loves us with all that He had.

And that’s why the emphasis in the New Covenant

cannot be on you loving God,

it’s on God loving you.

And I’m not saying that you don’t love God

I’m just telling you

how to do the greatest commandment.

Joseph Prince by saying:

“we are not under the law

that says thou shall love God with all your heart,

all your soul, all your mind, all your strength

… And that’s why the emphasis in the New Covenant

cannot be on you loving God,”

he is saying that the greatest commandment,

Thou shall love God with all your heart,

all your soul, all your mind, all your strength,”

is under law.

In another recent video,

Joseph Prince also said that loving God is under the law.

Please click here

to view the 5-second video:

“This is love,

not that we loved God,

which is the law.

But that He loved us,

which is grace.”

By saying that loving God

and the greatest commandment

are under law

means, according to his doctrine,

as New Covenant believers,

we should have nothing to do with them.

Yet, Joseph Prince went on to say,

“And I’m not saying that we don’t love God

I’m just telling you

how to do the greatest commandment.”

How can Joseph Prince say

that the greatest commandment is under law,

and yet, he now wants to tell you

how to do the greatest commandment

– something which is under law and obsolete?

How can Joseph Prince say that loving God is under the law,

be also saying,

“And I’m not saying that we don’t love God.”

By saying that loving God is under the law

means he must say

that loving God is out of the question

because it is under Old Covenant law.

Can you see how self-contradictory his statements are?

Joseph Prince is making a fool of himself.

This is not all.

In a Sunday sermon aired on YouTube,

3 Mar 2024, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 30-second video:

“We live under the New Covenant.

We are not under law, we’re under grace.

What is the greatest commandment

under law?

Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,

all thy soul, all they mind, all thy strength,

has anyone done that?

No one.

No one can do that.

If you can, stand up.

And then we’ll pray for liars.

No one can do that.

No one.”

Joseph Prince said in one sermon,

“And I’m not saying that we don’t love God

I’m just telling you

how to do the greatest commandment.”

Yet, he also said in another sermon,

“No one can do that.

If you can, stand up.

And then we’ll pray for liars.

No one can do that.

No one.”

Joseph Prince said,

“I will tell you how to do the greatest commandment.”

Yet, he also said,

“No one can do the greatest commandment.”

This is getting crazy.

But this is not the end of the fiasco.

In the same sermon on 3 Mar 3024, Joseph Prince also said;

Please click here

to view the 5-second video:

“But there are things that are impossible with men

but they are possible only through God.”

If things are impossible with men

but they are possible with God,

then why did Joseph Prince

say that no one can obey the greatest commandment,

as that commandment was given by Jesus, who is God Himself.

After going through such a mess of contradictions

caused by Joseph Prince,

and despite that,

millions have still chosen to follow him,

leaves you with a mixed feeling of not knowing

whether you should laugh or cry.

If Joseph Prince can get so terribly messed up in his doctrines,

not just on this occasion but on plenty of other occasions,

how can any sensible person choose to trust and follow him?

Hence, anyone who chooses to go along with his grace doctrines,

must have been bewitched by his occultic powers

and his powers of witchcraft

that he exercises on them.

Revelation 2:20-23 NET

20 But I have this against you: You tolerate that[a] woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and by her teaching deceives my servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I have given her time to repent, but she is not willing to repent of her sexual immorality. 22 Look! I am throwing her onto a bed of violent illness, and those who commit adultery with her into terrible suffering, unless they repent of her deeds. 23 Furthermore, I will strike her followers with a deadly disease, and then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts. I will repay[m] each one of you what your deeds deserve.

Revelation 2:20-23 LSB

20 But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and deceives My slaves so that they commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent, and she does not wish to repent of her sexual immorality. 22 Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

Revelation 2:20-23 LEB

20 But I have against you that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, the one who calls herself a prophetess, and teaches and deceives my slaves to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 And I have given her time in order to repent, and she did not want to repent from her sexual immorality. 22 Behold, I am throwing her into a sickbed and those who committed adultery with her into great affliction, unless they repent from her deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with deadly disease, and all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

Revelation 2:20-23 TLB

20 “Yet I have this against you: You are permitting that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach my servants that sex sin is not a serious matter; she urges them to practice immorality and to eat meat that has been sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to change her mind and attitude, but she refused. 22 Pay attention now to what I am saying: I will lay her upon a sickbed of intense affliction, along with all her immoral followers, unless they turn again to me, repenting of their sin with her; 23 and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches shall know that I am he who searches deep within men’s hearts, and minds; I will give to each of you whatever you deserve.

Revelation 2:20-23 NASB

20 But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, and she does not want to repent of her sexual immorality. 22 Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with plague, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

Revelation 2:20-23 NKJV

20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow [b]that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, [c]to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. 22 Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. 23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches  the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

Revelation 2:20-23 TLV

20 “But this I have against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess—yet she is teaching and deceiving My servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her immorality. 22 Behold, I will throw her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation—unless they repent of her doings. 23 I will also strike her children with a deadly disease. Then all of Messiah’s communities will know that I am the One who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you according to your deeds.

Revelation 2:20-23 WE

20 But I have this to say against you. You let that woman named Jezebel keep on teaching. She calls herself a prophet of God but teaches my servants wrong things. She fools them to use sex wrongly and eat food that has been given to idols. 21 I gave her time to stop, but she will not stop her wrong sexual ways and turn back to God. 22 Look, I will make her very sick, and also those who love her. I will do it if they do not stop what they are doing with her. 23 I will kill her children. Then all the churches will know that I find out what is in a person’s mind and heart. I will pay each one of you for the good or wrong things you have done.

Revelation 2:20-23 GW

20 But I have something against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. She teaches and misleads my servants to sin sexually and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to turn to me and change the way she thinks and acts, but she refuses to turn away from her sexual sins. 22 Watch me! I’m going to throw her into a sickbed. Those who commit sexual sins with her will also suffer a lot, unless they turn away from what she is doing. 23 I will kill her children. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches hearts and minds. I will reward each of you for what you have done.

Revelation 2:20-23 HCSB

20 But I have this against you: You tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and teaches and deceives My slaves to commit sexual immorality and to eat meat sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, but she does not want to repent of her sexual immorality. 22 Look! Revelation 2:20-23 ISV

20 But I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet and who teaches and leads my servants to practice immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, but she refused to repent of her immorality. 22 Look! I am going to strike her with illness. Those who commit adultery with her will also suffer greatly, unless they repent from acting like her. 23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts. I will reward each of you as your actions deserve.

Revelation 2:20-23 MEV

20 “But I have a few things against you: You permit that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, but she did not repent. 22 Look! Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches hearts and minds. I will reward each of you for what you have done.

Revelation 2:20-23 NABRE

20 Yet I hold this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, who teaches and misleads my servants to play the harlot and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I have given her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her harlotry. 22 So I will cast her on a sickbed and plunge those who commit adultery with her into intense suffering unless they repent of her works. 23 I will also put her children to death. Thus shall all the churches come to know that I am the searcher of hearts and minds and that I will give each of you what your works deserve.

Revelation 2:20-23 RSV

20 But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jez′ebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and beguiling my servants to practice immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her immorality. 22 Behold, I will throw her on a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her doings; 23 and I will strike her children dead. Revelation 2:20-23 RSVCE

20 But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jez′ebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and beguiling my servants to practice immorality[a] and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her immorality. 22 Behold, I will throw her on a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her doings; 23 and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches shall know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you as your works deserve.

Revelation 2:20-23 VOICE

20 “However, I have this against you: you have tolerated that woman Jezebel, who is a self-anointed prophetess and who misleads My followers to commit immoral sexual acts and to eat food prepared for idol worship. 21 I have provided her enough time to turn away from her indecency, but she refuses to turn from these immoral acts. 22 Watch; I will throw her back into her sickbed with those who committed adultery with her, and I will make them a bed of great affliction if they do not abandon her indiscretions and turn to follow Me. 23 I will punish her by striking her children dead. Through this all the churches will know I am the One who relentlessly explores the mind and heart, and I will deal with each of you as you deserve according to your acts.
