Joseph Prince told yet another Lie when he said that Jesus doesn’t tell you about your faults – By Rev George Ong (Dated 20 August 2022)
Please see, at the end of this article, My Message to the National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS) to take action against Joseph Prince. It is also featured on YouTube.
(This article was also sent to Rev Dr Ngoei Foong Nghian, General Secretary, National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS) office, and for the attention of the Executive Committee Members.)
During a Sunday sermon, titled, “What About Apostle Paul’s Suffering?” Joseph Prince said;
Please click here to view excerpts in the 1-minute video:
“Now in this same place in Jerusalem, a few days later, one night, Jesus appeared to Paul in a vision. Alright, and this is what Jesus said,
Acts 23:11 NKJV
11 But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.”
Now did Jesus say “I wanted you in Jerusalem. I wanted you nearly killed.”
Now some people dispute because of what Jesus said to Paul. They said Jesus wanted him then and there. Now listen carefully because later I’m going to show you something that it wasn’t God’s will for Paul to be in Jerusalem in the first place (Acts 21), not at this time. And Paul did not heed the advice. I’m going to show you that.
But there’s another group that says, “No, it was God’s will for Paul to be there” because of this verse (Acts 23:11). They said Jesus appeared to Paul and says, “As you have testified for me in Jerusalem, you must testify for me in Rome.” (Acts 23:11).
Now what Jesus is saying; He took advantage of the fact that Paul testified for Him already; He’s telling Paul about Rome, the future.
And one thing about Jesus is He doesn’t tell you about your faults.”
What Joseph Prince was posturing (from the video excerpts and also portions of the sermon that are not shown in the excerpts) is that Paul need not suffer in Jerusalem by being beaten in Acts 21 (Acts 21:32). But because he did something that was out of God’s will and went to Jerusalem (Acts 21), he suffered and was beaten.
Prince then alluded to Acts 23:11 and said that this verse was used by others to posture the view that it was Jesus’ will for Paul to be in Jerusalem, when Jesus said in Acts 23:11,
Acts 23:11 NKJV
11 But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.”
Prince then tried to justify that this doesn’t mean what Jesus said in Acts 23:11 was Jesus’ will for Paul to be in Jerusalem.
According to Prince, it was a fault that Paul had committed by going to Jerusalem in Acts 21 against God’s will.
Although this was a fault committed by Paul, Prince then went on to say,
“And one thing about Jesus is He doesn’t tell you about your faults.”
This is where Joseph Prince made the above statement to justify that Acts 23:11 is no proof that it was Jesus’ will for Paul to be in Jerusalem, as Jesus doesn’t tell you about your faults, even though Paul had committed the fault by going against God’s will when he went to Jerusalem in Acts 21.
Joseph Prince by making the statement,
“And one thing about Jesus is He doesn’t tell you about your faults,”
had told a lie.
It is a blatant lie because if there is anyone who has no trouble telling and confronting believers about their faults, it was Jesus.
Didn’t Jesus tell the Church of Ephesus:
Revelation 2:4-5 NKJV
4 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.
Didn’t Jesus tell the Church of Pergamos:
Revelation 2:14-16 NKJV
14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. 15 Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. 16 Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.
Didn’t Jesus tell the Church of Thyatira:
Revelation 2:20-23 NKJV
20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. 22 Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. 23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.
Didn’t Jesus tell the Church of Sardis:
Revelation 3:1-3 NKJV
1“And to the angel of the church in Sardis write,
‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. 3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
Didn’t Jesus tell the Church of Laodicea:
Revelation 3:15-19 NKJV
15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— 18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten.
Therefore be zealous and repent.
In the light of such clear and irrefutable facts in the above that Jesus had confronted the 5 New Covenant churches of Revelation over their faults, Joseph Prince had blatantly lied when he said,
“And one thing about Jesus is He doesn’t tell you about your faults.”
Even if Prince were to argue (not saying he will) that Jesus made the above statement only for Paul, and not every believer, what makes Paul so special that Jesus would dare to tell others about their faults that he wouldn’t dare tell Paul.
If it is true that Jesus didn’t dare to tell Paul his faults that He did to believers in the 5 churches of Revelation – what kind of a God is he – a God who practises favouritism?
In fact, one could argue that if there is anyone who ought to be told about their faults, it must start with leaders such as Paul, and what’s more, Paul was an apostle; and leaders ought to be more accountable for their actions than mere members.
I have, once again, proven to you from what Joseph Prince had said on video and the witness of scriptures that he had lied.
Many of you would remember that I had also proven that Prince had lied on many different occasions in many of my articles on my website.
So, the fact that Joseph Prince is a serial-liar is no longer in doubt.
My Simple Message to the National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS):
It is high time that NCCS take some concrete action against Joseph Prince.
Can you afford to have someone who calls himself a Pastor but is a serial-liar to be part of NCCS?
What’s more, Joseph Prince had lied in scripture many times.
If NCCS chooses to remain silent, then they are sending the message that they would condone even serial-liars, such as Joseph Prince, to be part of the ‘highest’ Christian organisation of Singapore.

Afternote:
Joseph Prince by saying,
“And one thing about Jesus is He doesn’t tell you about your faults,”
when Jesus actually did to the 5 churches of Revelation (Revelation chapters 2-3), it proves that Joseph Prince is not only contradicting what Jesus did, but more importantly, he is preaching a different Jesus.

Joseph Prince by saying,
“And one thing about Jesus is He doesn’t tell you about your faults,”
he is teaching nothing but feel-good Christianity and easy religion.
Prince has said so many times along these lines,
“Jesus loves you so much that He wouldn’t judge, punish, and be angry with you. He wouldn’t even point out your faults because He is always pleased with you and gracious towards you, no matter what sin you may commit as all your future sins have already been forgiven even before you commit them.”
No wonder, droves of people are drawn to New Creation Church because Joseph Prince really knows how to make people feel good.
But guess what kind of people are found there?
Many goats and those are deceived that such a Christianity really exists.
