The first part of every of the 5 Articles

is based on what Joseph Prince said

in his Sunday sermon

on 19 May 2024, 2 days ago.

Note that these 5 Articles are super short

and comprise about one third

of the total number of pages.

The other two thirds

are the Featured YouTube comments

found in the Appendix.

Article 1: Joseph Prince mocks the Lord’s prayer by giving mixed signals of its relevance – By Rev George Ong

In a sermon on 19 May 2024, 2 days ago,

Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 6-second video:

“And it’s okay, I repeat.

It’s okay to pray the Lord’s prayer every day if you want.

Nothing wrong

if you want to pray the Lord’s prayer today,

nothing wrong.”

But in another sermon in Jan 2024, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 40-second video:

“And when you pray (The Lord’s Prayer),

have you realised that when you pray,

‘Father in heaven,’

it’s like, even you have lost before you prayed.

Why?

You are implying distance.

But there’s no distance.

That’s why your prayers don’t get answered

because there’s no faith release

and you’re believing the wrong thing.

Father in heaven.

Tien ah! (Heavens)

You look up.

God hear my prayer.”

One moment,

Joseph Prince said there’s nothing wrong

with praying the Lord’s prayer

and you can pray it every day if you want.

The next moment,

Joseph Prince casts serious doubts

about whether we should be praying the Lord’s prayer

by mocking it

that the distance or gulf

between the God in heaven and us on earth

is too far to be bridged.

Joseph Prince also mocked the Lord’s prayer

by stating that such prayers (praying the Lord’s prayer)

don’t get answered

because you’re believing the wrong thing.

Think with me

– how can Joseph Prince tell people

that it’s nothing wrong to pray the Lord’s prayer

and okay to do it every day,

when he also said that the same prayer

don’t get answered even if you pray.

This is unbelievable!

Article 2: Joseph Prince abused God to double talk on godly sorrow for repentance – By Rev George Ong

In a sermon on 19 May 2024, 2 days ago,

Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 15-second video:

“The only sorrow God allows is godly sorrow

when you repent.

You do something wrong and you feel bad,

you said sorry to someone and all that

and you are going through that period.

That’s okay.

That is the only thing that God allows.

It seems like God is against sorrow.”

But in another sermon, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 7-second video:

“But godly sorrow is not repentance.”

One moment, Joseph Prince said,

“The only sorrow God allows is godly sorrow

when you repent.”

The next moment Joseph Prince said,

“But godly sorrow is not repentance.”

What Joseph Prince said about godly sorrow and repentance

the second time

is completely the opposite of what he said

the first time.

This getting ridiculous!

But that’s not all.

In ‘Destined To Reign’, Joseph Prince wrote:

“…many of us have the impression

that repentance is something

that involves mourning and sorrow.

However, that is not what the Word of God says.

Repentance just means changing your mind.”

Joseph Prince said that repentance

has nothing to do with mourning and sorrow.

Joseph Prince even dared to say

that the word of God

never teach about mourning and sorrow

in repentance.

If we do not trust anyone

who says one thing at one time

and another that is completely different from the first time

at another time,

how can anyone with his right mind trust Joseph Prince,

the so-called world-renowned preacher,

who commits the same sinful act

over and over and over again?

Article 3: Joseph Prince mocks the Holy Spirit by posturing Him as a double talker – By Rev George Ong

In a sermon on 19 May 2024, 2 days ago,

Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 10-second video:

“Can the Holy Spirit convict us of sins,

he can do it, of course.”

In a sermon on 12 May 2024, 10 days ago,

Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 6-second video:

“But Pastor Prince,

can the Holy Spirit convict you of sin?

Of course, He can.”

But in another sermon, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 5-second video:

“Oh, Holy Spirit, convict me of righteousness.

He never convicts the believer of sin.”

In ‘Destined To Reign,’ Joseph Prince wrote:

“The bottom line is that

the Holy Spirit never convicts you of your sins.

He NEVER comes to point out your faults.

I challenge you to find a scripture in the Bible

that tells you that the Holy Spirit has come

to convict you of your sins.

You won’t find any!”

In ‘Grace Revolution,’ Joseph Prince wrote:

“Truth be told,

you don’t need the Holy Spirit to convict you of sin…

the devil does a good job of that.”

What’s going on?

One moment,

Joseph Prince said the Holy Spirit

can convict believers of sin.

The next moment,

Joseph Prince said the Holy Spirit

can never convict believers of sin

as the devil does a good job of that.

The terrible sin that Joseph Prince has committed

is that he is mocking the Holy Spirit

by posturing Him as a double talker.

Article 4: Joseph Prince toys with Christ’s blood by his contradictory view of its efficacy – By Rev George Ong

In a sermon on 19 May 2024, 2 days ago,

Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 12-second video:

“But they (disciples) were never born again.

None of the disciples were born again

because none of them could be saved

without the Jesus shedding His blood on the cross.

They were disciples of Jesus

but they were not saved.”

But in another sermon, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 10-second video:

“So, Zacchaeus make haste and come down.

Then Jesus said to him (Zacchaeus),

‘Today salvation has come to this (Zacchaeus) house.’

And Jesus says,

‘Today salvation has come to this (Zacchaeus) house.’

Today, salvation has come to his (Zacchaeus) house.”

One moment,

Joseph Prince said that none of the disciples

during the gospels were saved

as Jesus had not yet died

and His blood had not yet been shed on the cross.

The next moment,

Joseph Prince said that Zacchaeus was saved

because Jesus had pronounced that salvation

has come to Zacchaeus’ house

even though Christ has not yet died

and His blood was not yet shed.

The horrible misdemeanour

that Joseph Prince has committed

is that he is playing fast and loose

with the blood of Christ.

One moment,

Joseph Prince said the blood of Christ

is needed to save people like Christ’s disciples.

The next moment,

he said that people such as Zaccheaus

can be saved without the blood of Christ.

Joseph Prince, are you psychologically sick?

Why are you contradicting yourself

again and again and again?

Is there anything wrong with you?

Have you become schizophrenic or what?

Article 5: Joseph Prince scorns the cross of Christ by presenting it in a contradictory way – By Rev George Ong

In a sermon on 19 May 2024, 2 days ago,

Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 8-second video:

“The Upper room (John chapters 14-17)

are all New Creation (Covenant) realities.

It’s all church truths.

It’s the truth we are to live by.

And it’s a New Covenant realities.”

So, Joseph Prince said that the Upper Room

in John chapters 14-17

contains church truths that we are to live by

because it is under the New Covenant.

But in ‘Unmerited Favor’, Joseph Prince wrote,

“However, the new covenant

does not actually begin with the four Gospels

of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John

as these books deal predominantly

with the life of Jesus

before the cross.

In fact, the new covenant begins

after the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Hence, the cross is our clearest marking point

of where the new covenant begins.”

Also, in ‘Destined To Reign’, Joseph Prince wrote,

“The new covenant

only begins after the cross,

when the Holy Spirit was given on the day of Pentecost.”

One moment,

Joseph Prince said the Upper room in John chapters 14-17

are church truths as they are under the New Covenant.

The next moment,

Joseph Prince wrote that

since the New Covenant only begins after the cross

– meaning, the Upper Room in John chapters 14-17

which is before the cross

is under the Old Covenant.

Joseph Prince is making a mockery of the cross of Christ

by presenting it in a flippant and contradictory way,

according to his whims and fancies.

In conclusion,

what do we make up

of all these fiascos of Joseph Prince?

Many Bible teachers are of the opinion

that, generally speaking,

we can tell the fruit of wolves in sheepskin

in 2 main ways:

Matthew 7:15-16

15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them…”

First, is their teaching, and second, is their character.

I don’t have to go through the bases again

of how much I have done

with regards to exposing Joseph Prince’s false teachings.

On character, I have also exposed Joseph Prince

to be a serial liar, serial hypocrite and serial double talker.

What I have proven in this Article is the reaffirmation

that Joseph Prince is indeed a serial double talker,

who said one thing at one time

and a completely different thing at another time.

And as many of you would know,

this is just a tip of the iceberg.

These 5 Articles are just based mainly

on what Joseph Price said in one Sunday sermon

(plus other sermons) on 19 May 2024, 2 days ago.

Finally, if all that I have laboured

does not convince you

that Joseph Prince is a wolf in sheepskin,

nothing else would.

“New Testament clearly talks about fasting.

Jesus fasted 40 days.

Paul fasted after his encounter with Christ.

Paul and Barnabas fasted.

The church at Antioch fasted.

I remember about 3-4 years ago,

I spoke to sister in New Creation Church

about fasting according to the New Testament.

She said,

‘That is your belief.

Our church (New Creation Church)

does not believe in fasting.’”

@WordsofGodThe

“Wow, are we going to have a NEW LAW soon?

Can the believers or non-believers say,

‘it’s not me; but SIN who murders, steals, or cheats,

when they are judged by the law?’

However, thank God that Joseph Prince

is not the prime minister or law minister;

otherwise, we will have two different sets of law.

For the believers, they will not be judged;

but only their SIN will be judged.”

@user-iu3dm5qk7p

“Why is Joseph Prince making

such a sweeping derisive statement against experts

– “even experts can be saying half-truths”.

Isn’t he himself an expert in his version of grace?

The likely motive is that Joseph Prince

is trying to discourage or distract people

from turning to this channel and other world channels,

exposing and poking holes in his teaching.

Desperate, he resorted to this diversionary tactic.”

@LuiSieh

“Joseph Prince says Jesus says it’s all about right believing.

This falsehood is directly contradicted by Jesus himself

in the Parables of the Two Sons (Matthew 21:28-32).

In The Parable of the Tenants (Matthew 21:33-46),

Jesus also warns us the consequences

of disobedience of His Commandments

which he directed to the Pharisees (Matthew 21:42-44).

Actions speak louder than words.

See also Book of 1st John

which admonishes believers of Jesus

to reaffirm their belief in sound doctrine,

obedience (to God’s Word),

and love that characterizes all TRUE CHRISTIANS.

These are the basics of faith lived out – salt and light etc,

we will bear the Fruit of the Spirit,

and be assured of salvation (1 John 3:24).

See 1 John 3:18-19.

Titus 1:16 says that our disobedience/actions

will deny God.

We know what happens to those people who deny God.

See also James 1:22-25; James 2:14-18; Luke 6:46.

We must action our faith.

Not just talk or “believe”.

It is commanded.

1 Corinthians 10:23-11:1 as it refers to Matthew 5:16

“In the same way, let your light shine before others,

so that they may see your good works

and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

@michaeltan5739

“I think that his flip flop about fasting is not the only thing.

Many years ago,

Joseph Prince was teaching about the Benjamin generation,

and I couldn’t understand what he was talking about.

It wasn’t biblical

and there were many errors in the things

he was preaching about the Israelites at that time.”

@edmundsim6251

“I think Joseph Prince probably wants to link it

to the tribe of Benjamin that got Jericho and Jerusalem.

That is why he is so focused on Rachel

and believing that Leah is the slave woman.

Someone needs to tell Joseph Prince

that Jesus is actually

from the tribe of Judah and Leah.”

@joyceliew4352

“Oh yes, I agree with you

regarding the Benjamin generation teachings.

After I’ve studied The Bible,

I found out Joseph Prince only teach part of it

but hide the other part about Benjamin’s history.

Joseph Prince has an issue with God’s Word.

He would pick only those that he wants.

Joseph Prince changed God’s history.”

@WordsofGodThe

“Actually, the false preachers are the ones

who always tell us that they have right believing;

however, the doctrine of Jesus, Paul, Peter, and the Apostles

would tell us that there must be right doing

in what we believe in.

For example, if we believe in repentance,

there must be the fruits of repentance;

if we believe in the law of God, we must keep the law of God;

if we believe in God’s love for us, we must love others;

if we believe in righteousness, we will do righteousness;

if we believe in faith, we will do the works of faith .. and etc.

We do all these not because we are self-righteous;

but because we are taught to have

right believing with right doing.

So, I would consider

all the doctrine of Jesus, Paul, and Peter

as the doctrine of RIGHT BELIEVING

because they always tell us to attach what we believe

in with the right doing,

right fruit, right labor, right work, right attitude,

and right response.

If we just tell people that we have right believing,

good believing, or fantastic believing;

however, we can only keep repeating it

without showing anything or any fruit,

people will ask,

“What’s so right, so good, and so fantastic

about your ‘right believing’?

Maybe it’s just another ‘radical’ or ‘hypocritical’ believing

from the false preacher?”

For example, if someone tells you to keep believing or confessing

“MONEY COME TO ME RIGHT NOW”

and he tells you that you don’t have to work for it

and that this is “right believing”, do you believe him?

No, you don’t need a rocket scientist

to tell you that he is a false preacher.”

@Matrixqc777

“The New Covenant is all about right believing?

“Do not think because you believe the right doctrines,

therefore, you are right.

There are many that BELIEVE RIGHT,

ACT WRONG and they PERISH”

– Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892).

@logerkenn6331

“I believe whosoever is against the ‘big 10’

as Joseph Prince used to call,

is against the Christian fundamentals.

Yes, none have kept it perfectly except our LORD JESUS,

but that doesn’t mean we totally ignore

or preach against it.

The devil will love for Christian to be ignorant on the big 10

and certainly, has his minions to preach against it.”

@edmundsim6251

“That the Joseph Prince keep renouncing and saying

that the Ten Commandments law are irrelevant

is something that I stop going to New Creation Church.

After he has said that, you can be very surprised

that how little that many of the Christians

do not even know about the Ten Commandments

which are universally accepted

and only speaks of God’s love for everyone.

As a matter of fact,

Jesus himself tells his disciples

that the two most important commandments

are Love the God your Lord and Love your neighbours.

For a pastor to say that the Ten Commandments

are irrelevant, especially a so-called pastor of grace,

please ask yourself if you are in the right Church

that can help you to grow spiritually.”

@matreen427

“Agreed, had this friend New Creation Church

whom I grew distant because she held Joseph Prince

on such a pedestal

that when even when shown the scriptures,

her response was to say that she is confused,

but would still firmly believe Joseph Prince’s version of teaching.”

@user-hd7qv8dx7x

“If Paul so opposed the Ten Commandments

like Joseph Prince does,

he would have said so.

But instead Apostle Paul quoted the Ten Commandments

in his epistles ..

Just taking selective Bible verses

and make it Joseph Prince only school of doctrine.

Stop saying more than what Apostle Paul said

and what Jesus said and deceived the people!”

@WordsofGodThe

“Joseph Prince says,

‘Like the Apostle Paul, he was saying,

The good I want to do, I do it not.

But the evil I don’t want to do, I am doing.

It shows that it is not me .. ‘But Pastor when I ..’

Stop, I am telling you this, Rejoice!

Because you will not bow to the lie

that you are THIS SIN .. or that sin.

No, God separates you from that sin.

Wof! Just ignore it. Leave it alone ..

When it stirs up (‘accuse you or make you feel guilty?’),

don’t act on it, .. ‘(don’t repent?)’

No, it’s a lie. That’s not me. That’s not me.

No, that’s not me.’

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tMjeubK3Xg&t=87s

Wow, what do you think?

That’s not me, that’s not me, that’s not me?

Just ignore it and don’t act on it, don’t repent,

don’t do anything, don’t feel bad,

don’t be condemned, don’t .. ?

If this is what the Bible says,

I will confess that I have been following the wrong Christ

and I must ‘metanoia’ (or change my mind)

to turn back to Joseph Prince

or to the ‘Christ’ that he preaches.

However, if the Bible never teaches that,

Joseph Prince is following a different Christ

and he needs to confess his sins

before he repents or turns back to Christ.

If he just ignore it, leave it alone, or do nothing,

he and whoever listen to him

will not be able to ignore

WHAT GOD HAS WRITTEN for them when Christ comes.

You should never ignore the decision

that YOU CAN MAKE NOW ..

before it is too late (I believe this is clear enough).”

@gt9227

“I pity those children who are in their Sunday school.

They are Christians

who do not know the Ten Commandments.”

@user-qi8rv4ez7u

“The way he talks is like as if everyone is a liar except him.

This is a lowly tactic

of implicating others through innuendoes.

What is right believing

if you are not teaching sound doctrine, Jo?

Your doctrine is riddled with half-truths,

lies, contradictions and distortions.”

@user-vo3iy4ur6d

“Before his product did not kill people,

now his product has the potential to kill people eternally

and that’s why it is inciting many truth-seekers

to expose him.”

@jamesow5163

“Right believing or wrong believing.

Our words, actions will reflect.

If the doctrine is right, with true repentance,

the fruit of the Spirit will manifest through us.

Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,

faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”

@user-qi8rv4ez7u

“Pride or a proud look is one thing the Lord hates.

Notice how Joseph Prince in the sermon

scared the salesman

by saying Joseph Prince can pray and ask God

to withdraw all His blessings

to prove whether his success was due to God

and not his effort.

What kind of pastor is that who asks the Father

to condemn His children?

It’s downright pride.

It’s showing the ugly side.”

@user-hd7qv8dx7x

“The only 10 Joseph Prince likes to preach

is not the Ten Commandments

but the tithe which new covenant teaching doesn’t emphasize.

Paul emphasized the grace of giving

and giving cheerfully and giving to the poor.”

@WordsofGodThe

“I know what Joseph Prince is trying to say.

He is trying to say that if you sin,

you should not feel bad about your sin

because you can just push the blame

or the penalty of sin to Jesus.

However, this type of pushing your responsibility or accountability

without repentance will not work. Why?

It is because:

1. assume that a person has not killed another person yet,

and he realizes that he is about to sin or kill.

Do you think that saying

“it’s not me, it’s not me, it’s not me” will make sense.

Of course not.

He has not made the killing yet.

It does not make sense to confess it

when he has not sinned yet

and he won’t feel the need to confess it too.

(Joseph Prince would argue,

“What if the person confesses it

because he remembers that I told him to do so?

Don’t you think that it would stop him

from committing the crime?”

I will tell him, this kind of argument is like

you know it’s impossible, yet you suggest the impossible,

and expect everybody will accept any foolish logic.

It is like telling the gambler in the casino,

before he starts gambling, that he should confess

“I am not in the casino, I am not in the casino ..”

or “it’s not me, it’s not me .. ”

or “I won’t gamble, I won’t gamble .. “.

Do you think that he will stop gambling?

No, if you are really a gambler,

you won’t even think of any such stupid confession.)

2. assume that the person has killed the other person,

and he realizes that he has sinned.

Do you think that saying

“it’s not me, it’s not me, it’s not me” will help him? No.

Do you think that saying it will remove his sin conscience

even though he is a Christian and he confesses

“I am the righteousness of God”

or “it’s not me, it’s not me ..”?

I find it so ridiculous when I listen to him again:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tMjeubK3Xg&t=86s

Obviously, confessing that “it’s not me, it’s not me”

is meaningless, illogical, unbiblical, arrogant, cowardice,

timid, weak, and useless when you sin or if you sin.

If you sin, what’s the problem?

Just confess it and ask God for forgiveness.

Is that too difficult?

1 Jn 1:9 KJV

If we CONFESS OUR SINS, he is faithful

and just to forgive us our sins,

and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

@normantong3475

“So many foolish believers in his congregation believed it!

Do they read and study the Bible carefully?!”

@Rayshader

“Aiyo, this self-proclaimed Prince is a complete buang case!

“Jesus didn’t come to set an example”

To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you,

leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. 1 Peter 2:21.

Joseph Prince’s stance is to accept Christ

but forget about following Jesus?

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

Problem is some of the believers do not read the Bible for themselves

while some know that there are some doctrinal issues from Joseph Prince.

However, they simply don’t care

or bother to dwell in the word of God for themselves.

Some choose to defend by claiming he talks about Jesus

as a form of consolation

instead of worrying about the consequences.

Hosea 4:6-9

Some may argue OT is no longer relevant.

Joseph Prince’s followers claim we live under a gracious God.

Slow to anger doesn’t mean no anger!

Consider the number of living creatures

who died from the flood only a family of 8 survived.

Consider the NT then:

The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. Matthew 3:10

He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” Matthew 15:13

If we willfully follow a false teacher,

chances are there will not be a royal pardon.”

@jamesow5163

“This is a typical epitome of ‘self denial’.

Remember in Matthew 7:21-23, what Jesus said,

“Depart from me you workers of iniquity,

I do not know you.”?

I believe there will be people who answer,

“Lord, it is not me, it is the sin that sin, not me,

it is the flesh that sin, it is not me.”

@WordsofGodThe

“If a preacher says that the Holy Spirit

cannot reprove him or convict him of sin or any wrong,

we already find something is wrong.

However, if a double-talker or heretical preacher

says that that the Holy Spirit cannot reprove him

or convict him of sin or any wrong,

we’d better distance ourselves from him.

Do you know how serious it is to lie against the Holy Spirit

or sin against the Holy Spirit?

It is considered as a sin that is unpardonable

because it is a ‘sin’ of the end time

when the Lawless One will fight against the Holy Spirit,

change all the law of God, and give you his own ‘law’:

2 Thess 2:4-8 LITV

Of course, Joseph Prince knows the warning against him

when he lies against the Holy Spirit.

That’s why he needs to backtrack

and insist that “He can (convict him of sin)”

However, he will only confuse himself and his believers

because he has been preaching

that they can only confess righteousness; not sin.

Please think, If they can only confess righteousness,

does it make sense for the Holy Spirit to convict them of sin?

No, if they have made up their mind not to confess sin,

they have actually rejected the conviction of the Holy Spirit

and they have refused to be convicted of sin too.

When there is no conviction of SIN,

there is no meaning in repentance.

So, when Joseph Prince says,

“.. of course He can ..”, he is lying.

His mouth may say “He can”,

but his heart won’t allow Him to convict him of SIN

because he won’t believe in any repentance from SIN.”

“@WordsofGodThe, this is spot on analysis.

It’s not only disgusting but also extremely frustrating

to deal with such an individual,

how much more a group of such double talkers and deniers.

Presented with the evidence

from the written Word of God, The Holy Scriptures,

they still choose to wilfully ignore it.

Are their conscience already seared?!

I pray not.”

“Allow me to expand John 16:8 like English in primary school,

And when He comes (day of Pentecost

when the Holy Spirit first descended on the waiting disciples),

He will convict the world (I believe it is referring to unbelieving world

as shown in v9-11 based on the principle of consistency)

concerning sin, will convict the world

concerning righteousness and will convict the world

concerning judgement.

V9 concerning sin because the world’s unbelief in Christ

and His word and works,

concerning righteousness

(after Jesus has finished His work on earth

including His resurrected appearances to His disciples)

which is still directed to the world of God’s righteousness

Vs man’s self-righteousness to believe

and does what he wants and God’s ultimate judgement

on unbelieving world,

and finally and following from the aforesaid 2 points,

God’s judgement on the ruler of the unbelieving world.

What Joseph Prince did

was anyhow humtum and gasak botak

and connect righteousness with you in V10

and said the Holy Spirit convicts believers of righteousness,

I go to the Father and you will see no longer

(like you used to see me)

is referring to when you the Holy Spirit will come.

v7 Jesus spoke to the disciples about the Holy Spirit

and v13 Jesus said what the Holy Spirit will do

for the disciples

or the role of the Holy Spirit

with regards His disciples;

and thus v8-11 is the Holy Spirit role on the world.”

“Joseph Prince, please STOP your erroneous preaching and teaching.

Please, please, for your own life’s sake and the congregation.”

@WordsofGodThe

“Joseph Prince says,

“.. The New Covenant is all about right believing ..

Now we are all concerned about right behaving right living,

but God is more concerned about right believing .. ”

I don’t know how he got this interpretation from Heb 8:10-12;

however, I will ask him,

have you continued to read Heb 12?

Isn’t Heb 12 a continuation of Heb 10

and the New Covenant?

Isn’t it about right behaving and right living,

and when you do not ‘behave’, you would be chastened?

I won’t show the whole chapter,

but you can see from the highlighted words

that the New Covenant

is still about right behaving right living

with holiness, discipline, and fear of God:

Heb 12:1-29 KJV

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin .. (5) .., My son, despise not thou the CHASTENING of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: ..  (9) Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be IN SUBJECTION unto the Father of spirits, and live?  (10)  For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be PARTAKERS OF HIS HOLINESS (11)  Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable FRUIT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS unto them which are exercised thereby .. .. (14) Follow peace with all men, and HOLINESS, without which no man shall see the Lord:  (15)  Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;  (16) Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.  (17) For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of REPENTANCE, though he sought it carefully with tears .. .. (22) But ye are come unto mount Sion, .. .. (23) To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, (24) And to Jesus the mediator of the NEW COVENANT , and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. (25) See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, MUCH MORE shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:  .. .. (28) Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and GODLY FEAR: (29) For our God is a consuming fire.
