Joseph Prince lied that the Upper Room
is the heavenly places;

“And I was made to sit together with Christ
in the heavenly places.
That’s the Upper Room. Amen.”
Nowhere in scripture is the Upper Room
seen to be referring to
as the heavenly places or the Third Heaven.

“And don’t forget Upper Room is a picture of heaven, yes,
but the way it works out on earth
is that it is the local church.”
Though the early church often uses the Upper Room
for communal gatherings,
and many theological events and spiritual encounters
took place in the Upper Room,
the Upper Room is never seen to be a picture of heaven
or the local church – the body of Christ.
Finally, my parting shot to Joseph Prince:
“Hey Joe, I’m sure you got my message
that you need to sweat more
in your sermon preparation
to cover all conceivable grounds
so you don’t get caught by me again
for spewing out rubbish in your coming sermons.
And let’s have more of your tantrum-throwing antics
– the more the merrier.
It only gives me more materials
to write against you and your heresies.”
