In a Sunday sermon aired on YouTube,

17 Mar 2024, 5 days ago, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here

to view the 45-second video:

“Why is it that we see Him,

God in human flesh going around

healing the sick.

Never making well people sick.

Always making sick people well.

Jesus presents God.

He that has seen me has seen the Father

and He went around healing.

Never making people who are well sick.

Never.

You find me one verse that says that,

then I believe God might heal,

sometimes, God might not heal.

Why is it the Bible never tells us things like,

expect to become old and decrepit (decaying),

expect to become sicker and sicker

because that’s the norm and the portion of the world.”

Joseph Prince said:

“Why it is that we see Him,

God in human flesh going around

healing the sick.

… Jesus presents God.

He that has seen me has seen the Father

and He went around healing.”

Joseph Prince has always been using

the healing ministry of Jesus in the gospels

as the doctrinal foundation

of his Health and Wealth Gospel

and his healing ministry.

But are you aware

that Joseph Prince is prohibited

by his own grace teaching

to even teach that?

In ‘Unmerited Favor’, Joseph Prince wrote,

“However, the new covenant

does not actually begin with the four Gospels

of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John

as these books deal predominantly

with the life of Jesus before the cross.

In fact, the new covenant

begins after the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Hence, the cross is our clearest marking point

of where the new covenant begins.”

In a sermon, Joseph Prince said;

Please click here to view the 5-second video:

“Matthew, Mark, Luke and John

is Jesus still under the law.

All his disciples were under Law.”

Joseph Prince had categorically stated

that Jesus’s ministry in the gospels, which includes healing,

is under the Old Covenant of Law.

So, how can Joseph Prince use the Old Covenant of Law

which, according to his grace teaching,

isn’t relevant for New Covenant believers

as the basis for his healing ministry?

What a mess-up by Joseph Prince!

There are no two ways about it.

Joseph Prince would have to publicly recant

what he wrote in ‘Unmerited Favor’,

and what he said on video

that Jesus in the gospels was under the law.

If he refuses to,

then, Joseph Prince has no right to teach healing

as his healing doctrine

is based on the Old Covenant of Law.

Joseph Prince said:

“Never making well people sick.

Always making sick people well.

… Never making people who are well sick.

Never.”

Since Joseph Prince is treating

Jesus, the Son and God, the Father as one

in what he said in the video,

we shall also treat them as one.

In other words, what one does

is also what the other will do.

Joseph Prince said Jesus, the Son, or God, the Father

never make people who are well sick.

But didn’t God say that He was the one

who sent sickness and even death to the Corinthians

because they dishonoured the Holy Communion:

1 Corinthians 11:27-30 NIV

27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.

Didn’t Paul teach in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 NLT

that God can destroy any of His New Covenantal people

for destroying His temple?

“Don’t you realize that

all of you together are the temple of God

and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

God will destroy anyone

who destroys this temple.

For God’s temple is holy,

and you are that temple” (1 Cor 3:16-17 NLT).

The context is that the Corinthians

were ‘fighting’ with each other

and causing divisions in the body

– tantamount to destroying the church,

being the temple of God.

And God will not allow this to happen,

and if necessary,

He will destroy the individual believer

who is trying to destroy the church.

but Paul wrote that God is the one

who will destroy that person (1 Cor 3:17 NIV).

If God is prepared to destroy a believer,

why wouldn’t He afflict him with sickness

to get him to come to his senses

and repent and turn from his wicked ways?

If God the Father is prepared

to destroy His own Covenantal Children,

what about the Lord Jesus?

Didn’t Jesus say in Revelation 2:21-23

that He would make His children

who have allowed themselves

to be influenced by heretical teachings

(Joseph Prince, the heretic, you better watch out!)

to suffer a deadly disease

and He would even kill them?

21 I have given her time to repent,

but she is not willing to repent of her sexual immorality.

22 Look! I am throwing her onto a bed of violent illness,

and those who commit adultery with her

into terrible suffering,

unless they repent of her deeds.

23 Furthermore, I will strike her followers

with a deadly disease, (Rev 2:21-23 NET)

(Please see the Appendix for 17 other translations of Revelation 2:20-23.)

Jesus said that it is He Himself

who would make the kill:

“I will strike her children dead…”

If Jesus had warned that

He could even strike the unrepentant believers dead,

why wouldn’t He send sickness to afflict them

for their good?

Joseph Prince said:

“Why is it the Bible never tells us things like,

expect to become old and decrepit (decaying),

expect to become sicker and sicker

because that’s the norm and the portion of the world.”

Joseph Prince lied against his so-called mentor, Paul,

as Paul did say

that our physical bodies

are gradually decaying, dying and wearing out:

2 Corinthians 4:16 CEB

16 So we aren’t depressed. But even if our bodies are breaking down on the outside, the person that we are on the inside is being renewed every day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 CEV

16 We never give up. Our bodies are gradually dying, but we ourselves are being made stronger each day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 ERV

16 That is why we never give up. Our physical body is becoming older and weaker, but our spirit inside us is made new every day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 GW

16 That is why we are not discouraged. Though outwardly we are wearing out, inwardly we are renewed day by day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 TLB

16 That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our inner strength in the Lord is growing every day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 GNT

16 For this reason we never become discouraged. Even though our physical being is gradually decaying, yet our spiritual being is renewed day after day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 NLV

16 This is the reason we do not give up. Our human body is wearing out. But our spirits are getting stronger every day.

2 Corinthians 4:16 NLT

16 That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.

Joseph Prince blatantly lied

that he had learnt his grace theology from Paul,

as Paul was never the Health and Wealth teacher

that Joseph Prince is.

17 Translations of Revelation 2:20-23:

Revelation 2:20-23 NET

20 But I have this against you: You tolerate that[a] woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and by her teaching deceives my servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I have given her time to repent, but she is not willing to repent of her sexual immorality. 22 Look! I am throwing her onto a bed of violent illness, and those who commit adultery with her into terrible suffering, unless they repent of her deeds. 23 Furthermore, I will strike her followers with a deadly disease, and then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts. I will repay[m] each one of you what your deeds deserve.

Revelation 2:20-23 LSB

20 But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and deceives My slaves so that they commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent, and she does not wish to repent of her sexual immorality. 22 Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

Revelation 2:20-23 LEB

20 But I have against you that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, the one who calls herself a prophetess, and teaches and deceives my slaves to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 And I have given her time in order to repent, and she did not want to repent from her sexual immorality. 22 Behold, I am throwing her into a sickbed and those who committed adultery with her into great affliction, unless they repent from her deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with deadly disease, and all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

Revelation 2:20-23 TLB

20 “Yet I have this against you: You are permitting that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach my servants that sex sin is not a serious matter; she urges them to practice immorality and to eat meat that has been sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to change her mind and attitude, but she refused. 22 Pay attention now to what I am saying: I will lay her upon a sickbed of intense affliction, along with all her immoral followers, unless they turn again to me, repenting of their sin with her; 23 and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches shall know that I am he who searches deep within men’s hearts, and minds; I will give to each of you whatever you deserve.

Revelation 2:20-23 NASB

20 But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, and she does not want to repent of her sexual immorality. 22 Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with plague, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

Revelation 2:20-23 NKJV

20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow [b]that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, [c]to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. 22 Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. 23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches  the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

Revelation 2:20-23 TLV

20 “But this I have against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess—yet she is teaching and deceiving My servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her immorality. 22 Behold, I will throw her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation—unless they repent of her doings. 23 I will also strike her children with a deadly disease. Then all of Messiah’s communities will know that I am the One who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you according to your deeds.

Revelation 2:20-23 WE

20 But I have this to say against you. You let that woman named Jezebel keep on teaching. She calls herself a prophet of God but teaches my servants wrong things. She fools them to use sex wrongly and eat food that has been given to idols. 21 I gave her time to stop, but she will not stop her wrong sexual ways and turn back to God. 22 Look, I will make her very sick, and also those who love her. I will do it if they do not stop what they are doing with her. 23 I will kill her children. Then all the churches will know that I find out what is in a person’s mind and heart. I will pay each one of you for the good or wrong things you have done.

Revelation 2:20-23 GW

20 But I have something against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. She teaches and misleads my servants to sin sexually and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to turn to me and change the way she thinks and acts, but she refuses to turn away from her sexual sins. 22 Watch me! I’m going to throw her into a sickbed. Those who commit sexual sins with her will also suffer a lot, unless they turn away from what she is doing. 23 I will kill her children. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches hearts and minds. I will reward each of you for what you have done.

Revelation 2:20-23 HCSB

20 But I have this against you: You tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and teaches and deceives My slaves to commit sexual immorality and to eat meat sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, but she does not want to repent of her sexual immorality. 22 Look! I will throw her into a sickbed and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her practices. 23 I will kill her children with the plague. Then all the churches will know that I am the One who examines minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you according to your works.

Revelation 2:20-23 ISV

20 But I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet and who teaches and leads my servants to practice immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, but she refused to repent of her immorality. 22 Look! I am going to strike her with illness. Those who commit adultery with her will also suffer greatly, unless they repent from acting like her. 23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts. I will reward each of you as your actions deserve.

Revelation 2:20-23 MEV

20 “But I have a few things against you: You permit that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, but she did not repent. 22 Look! I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. 23 I will put her children to death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the hearts and minds. I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

I’m going to throw her into a sickbed. Those who commit sexual sins with her will also suffer a lot, unless they turn away from what she is doing. 23 I will kill her children. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches hearts and minds. I will reward each of you for what you have done.

Revelation 2:20-23 NABRE

20 Yet I hold this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, who teaches and misleads my servants to play the harlot and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I have given her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her harlotry. 22 So I will cast her on a sickbed and plunge those who commit adultery with her into intense suffering unless they repent of her works. 23 I will also put her children to death. Thus shall all the churches come to know that I am the searcher of hearts and minds and that I will give each of you what your works deserve.

Revelation 2:20-23 RSVCE

20 But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jez′ebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and beguiling my servants to practice immorality[a] and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her immorality. 22 Behold, I will throw her on a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her doings; 23 and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches shall know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you as your works deserve.

Revelation 2:20-23 VOICE

20 “However, I have this against you: you have tolerated that woman Jezebel, who is a self-anointed prophetess and who misleads My followers to commit immoral sexual acts and to eat food prepared for idol worship. 21 I have provided her enough time to turn away from her indecency, but she refuses to turn from these immoral acts. 22 Watch; I will throw her back into her sickbed with those who committed adultery with her, and I will make them a bed of great affliction if they do not abandon her indiscretions and turn to follow Me. 23 I will punish her by striking her children dead. Through this all the churches will know I am the One who relentlessly explores the mind and heart, and I will deal with each of you as you deserve according to your acts.
