Joseph Prince’s Doctrine of Salvation that Excludes Sanctification is Heretical (Dated 24 July 2020)

Rev George Ong has been exposing Joseph Prince’s deceptive teachings for a number of years now. He has not left any stone unturned in his quest to uncover Joseph Prince’s reckless twisting of scriptures to suit his false grace theology. True gospel is about the abundant grace and forgiveness made available to us through the cross of Calvary. When we first respond to His grace by faith (Eph 2:8-9), He saves us so we can grow in obedience to Him and do good works (Eph 2:10). This is supposed to be the manner of God’s salvation to us. We work out our salvation with fear and trembling – sanctification; what God has worked in us – justification (Phil 2:12-13).

Both justification and sanctification, as taught by Rev George Ong, are needed for salvation. But Joseph Prince’s doctrine of salvation that includes justification but excludes sanctification is heretical. Joseph Prince has been subtly leading people into a useless and dead faith – a faith (justification) without works (sanctification) (Jas 2:20,17,26). James clearly teaches that a faith (justification) without works (sanctification) cannot save (Jas 2:14). Tasting God’s grace, will truly cause us to labor even more, not less, effortfully, not effortlessly, and with joy for His glory (1 Cor 15:10). I pray that Joseph Prince will take heed of the many rebukes and warnings so that he will repent from his massive amount of false teachings that have deceived the multitudes to their destruction.

Rev George Ong’s resources on his website, have greatly helped me in bringing across the flawed messages on grace taught by Joseph Prince whenever I meet up with Pastors who are ‘caught up’ and influenced by his teachings. Sadly, many of these pastors are not even aware that Joseph Prince’s teachings are heretical and the danger that they pose to the church. Do watch all the videos of Rev George Ong that he has laboriously shot for us. The countless hours of study and research that he has put into the 4,800 pages of notes on the website have been summarised in these short videos. Do give Rev George Ong your moral and spiritual support as he boldly embarks on this difficult journey to expose the many false teachings of Joseph Prince. He, indeed, represents the brave and prophetic voice to tell the church what she needs to hear, not what she wants to hear.”
