Part 1: Joseph Prince is such a vain fellow and filled with self-importance that he had to lie about his birthday on 15 May occurring on the same day as Israel’s Independence
Part 2: Glenn Fong, attending Gospel Light Christian Church and an Ex New Creation Church member for 15 years (2000-2015), exposes the false teachings of Joseph Prince in a conversation between Glenn Fong & Peter Kho (Dated 20 May 2025)
Announcement No 1:
Surprisingly, Joseph Prince didn’t preach
at the worship service on 18 May 2025, 2 days ago.
This is given the likelihood that his next and last sermon
before he goes on his usual 4-week holiday in June,
is this coming Sunday, 25 May 2025.
I am not sure whether his unusual absence last Sunday,
has anything to do
with his critics’ ongoing contention against his heresies
– that he finds it too hot to handle
and he needed a break or time-out to recover.
(This article was also sent to Rev Dr Ngoei Foong Nghian, General Secretary, National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS) office, and for the attention of the Executive Committee Members.)
Announcement No 2:
The YouTube link to the full interview
on the Conversation between Glenn Fong & Peter Kho
which is about an hour & 45 minutes,
would be given at a later date.
Part 1: Joseph Prince is such a vain fellow and filled with self-importance that he had to lie about his birthday on 15 May occurring on the same day as Israel’s Independence.
In the last article/video,
3 Ex New Creation Church members commented on YouTube
that Joseph Prince had lied about his birthday
is the same day
as that of Israel’s Independence.
Yes, they are right.
In the sermon 2 Sundays ago, 11 May 2025,
Joseph Prince said:

“So, you know what,
maybe I feel that my birthday (15 May)
is around the corner, or what.
So, I feel a bit sentimental about this.
Thank you.
It’s great to be thirty again, Hallelujah!”
Can you see how vain Joseph Prince is
– he is behaving exactly like many ladies,
that he won’t admit he is 62 years old (born in 1963),
and he had to use a joke to avoid mentioning his real age.
By the way, he does that very often.
In the sermon on 7 July 2024,
Joseph Prince said:

“Now listen. I know May 15
for those who do not know,
it’s my birthday
and the birthday of Israel.”
The truth is
Israel’s official declaration of Independence is 14 May.
Why do you think Joseph Prince has to lie in that way?
This is because he believes in Israel’s place
in the overall purposes of God, which is not wrong.
What is wrong is that he lied to identify his birthday with Israel
to convey the idea that he is someone special,
chosen by God to preach his grace doctrine.
But come to think of it,
if Joseph Prince is so sold out to the place and position of Israel,
in God’s sovereign purposes,
(and he often spoke about Israel in his sermons),
why was he so silent when
Hamas attacked Israel on 7 Oct 2023?
At that time,
I did not hear a single word from him about Israel.
What happened?
He always talks big about Israel.
He talks so much about Israel,
that we must support them.
But when more than 5 months had passed
since that tragic event in 2023,
why was he still so silent?
I did not even hear him leading, at least a short prayer for Israel
in his worship services.
I didn’t even hear him asking his congregation to pray for Israel.
Also, Joseph Prince didn’t utter a prayer for the Palestinians,
who suffered a lot
in his worship services.
(You must believe me as I listen
to every of Joseph Prince’s weekly Sunday sermons.)
I knew of many churches
who prayed for Israel and the Palestinians
in their worship services from 7 Oct 2023.
So, why was Joseph Prince behaving in such a strange manner,
and kept so quiet about the whole episode,
if he really believes in the special place of Israel
in the purposes of God?
The reason is
Joseph Prince doesn’t want to get on the wrong side
with powerful people.
Here, I’m not using ‘powerful people’ in the pejorative sense.
I’m just making the point
that Joseph Prince likes to give the impression
he is okay with these powerful people,
Joseph Prince takes the trouble to have these powerful people
appear at his church events,
and he would make sure their presence at these events
are displayed and publicised
so prominently on videos and photographs
in the worship services
for the world to see.
In his testimony,
Aaron Khoo, an Ex New Creation Church member
for 11 years (2008-2019) wrote:
“There is a tendency for New Creation Church
to make a big deal about church events,
especially when it comes to the attendance
of the Singapore Government ministers
and Members of Parliament,
at such events.
New Creation Church through the Pastors,
have been observed to take special effort
to particularly highlight these events
in the worship services for the attention of all.
To advertise and publicise such charitable works,
involving government ministers,
what is the intention of doing so?
In the previous church that I came from,
we did charitable works without publicity.”
So, now you know why.
The bottom line is
Joseph Prince cares more about his own self-preservation
rather than Israel, whom he boasted so much about.
Joseph Prince is indeed a coward.
He talks so much about Israel here, there and everywhere.
And when the nation of Israel needed him most,
to pray for them,
he went into ‘hiding’,
Not even a single word was heard from him for Israel
for at least more than 5 months
after the tragic episode in 2023.
Joseph Prince acted the same way
in the case of the Founder of Hyflux, Olivia Lum.
When the Founder succeeded,
Joseph Prince rushed forward to claim credit.
But when her business failed, he was nowhere to be found.
He kept as quiet as a church mouse, even today,
many years after the Founder had failed in her business.
Throughout the whole episode,
not even a prayer was uttered for her by Joseph Prince
in the worship services.
Friends, this is the kind of so-called leader of a church
that I am exposing for the world to see.”
Part 2: Glenn Fong, attending Gospel Light Christian Church and an Ex New Creation Church member for 15 years (2000-2015), exposes the false teachings of Joseph Prince in a conversation between Glenn Fong & Peter Kho
When Glenn Fong, an Ex New Creation Church member
for 15 years (2000-2015)
agreed to appear in person
to be in conversation with Peter Kho,
I was overjoyed
because God has answered my prayer again
for another Ex New Creation Church member
to speak against Joseph Prince and his heresies.
May more Ex New Creation Church members
be encouraged to do the same as Glenn Fong did.
One portion of what Glenn Fong said in the conversation
can be boiled down to this.
Glenn Fong wrote:
“Joseph Prince teaches that what James 2 is teaching,
is “justification before men”.
What it means is, the good deeds that we do,
is only to show men only,
it does not affect our Salvation.
So, whether we do good works or not,
does not affect our Salvation,
but only affects our testimony
to other people looking at us.
But the problem here is, James 2 does not teach that way.
What he is saying, is the effects of saving faith
is supposed to manifest in a believer’s life
through good works…
Faith without works is dead, James 2:26.
Good works is not a mere “justification before men”
but it is EVIDENCE OF SALVATION!
If your faith is dead, James 2:14 asks,
“Can that faith save you?”,
the answer is obviously NO!
So, if you lack good fruits in your life,
it means faith is not present in you; it’s dead.
That’s a pretty good indication that you are not saved!
And if you believe in him,
and continue living a fruitless life,
then you are in danger of going to hell!”
Yes, I fully agree with what Glenn Fong wrote,
and I have further points to add.
Important Clarification:
When you view the video in a short while,
you may get the idea
that I am preaching salvation by works.
Yes and no.
No, because our salvation is by faith.
No amount of works can achieve our salvation.
That’s what makes Christianity so special
vis-a-vis the other religions.
But after having said that,
I am also saying we are saved by works
in the sense that faith-only-without-works doctrine
can also never save us.
Yes, we begin by faith in our salvation journey,
but for our faith to be genuine,
it must be accompanied and proven by works.
So, in the end, both faith and works must be present
for true salvation.
They are so intertwined
that they can never be separated.
If one (sanctification) is denigrated
as Joseph Prince has done,
the other, (justification) is also rendered inoperable.
Both justification and sanctification
are necessary for true faith.
Before and on the days of Martin Luther,
the extreme was that
works have become so predominantly stressed
that Christianity had degenerated into works-religion.
That was why God had to raise Martin Luther
to confront this false doctrine.
But in our present time,
we have swung more to the other extreme,
and we now declare a faith-only salvation,
without an equal emphasis
on the works component of true faith.
During Luther’s time,
legalism (works religion) was prevalent.
But in contemporary Christianity,
Antinomianism, the opposite extreme,
which is the false doctrine that Joseph Prince preaches,
has permeated many Churches and Christians.
That’s why it is so easy for Joseph Prince
to deceive today’s Christians
regarding his justification-only salvation doctrine.
In a teaching session, George Ong said:

We have heard so much
about justification by faith in our day.
Perhaps, it is about time for us
to give an equal emphasis
on sanctification by faith
as both justification and sanctification
are necessary for salvation,
and they are both required to get us to heaven.
In a teaching session, David Pawson said:

“And it’s an effort that needs to be made.
That’s why the Bible says,
‘Make every effort to attain that holiness
without which no one will see the Lord.’ (Heb 12:14)
Sanctification is as necessary to salvation as justification.
Now, are you beginning to understand
the question of sanctification?
That’s as necessary to get to heaven as your justification.”
