Two days ago, on 23 Feb 2025,
I received an email from Jasmine Wong:
“Hi Reverend George Ong,
I am deeply humbled by your ministry
that calls out Joseph Prince for his heresies.
I check on your website every week
to read or listen to your rebuttal
on Joseph Prince’s sermons of heresy.
Actually, I am from Malaysia
and used to attend Charis Christian Center (AOG church)
Then when I came to Singapore,
I attend New Creation Church
because of my aunt,
who introduced Joseph Prince’s ministry to my family.
As time went on, I married a Singaporean man
who attends New Creation Church with his family.
Sometime in late 2023,
I got a wake-up call
about the things that Joseph Prince preaches
are all heresies.
There are things he preaches are so horrible;
it’s totally the opposite from what are taught in the Bible.
In a sermon,
when Joseph Prince said there is no need for discipleship,
I was shocked.
It seemed like someone had slapped my face.
Then I knew the Holy Spirit
had sounded the alarm for me.
I believe the Holy Spirit has left Joseph Prince
due to his heresies.
The family that I am married into
is deep into Joseph Prince’s teachings.
Sadly, you definitely do not see them behaving anywhere
near being a born-again Christian.
Also, I believe they are spiritually bound
because they would defend
Joseph Prince and New Creation Church.
Thank God for pulling me out of this nonsense,
and now, I am attending Calvary Assembly, Singapore.
I made good Christian friends at Calvary Church.
I really want people to know the truth
and I call on those to remove themselves
from Joseph Prince’s heretical teachings.”

“When we choose to be silent about heresies,
at best,
we’re not helping to stop it,
and at worst,
we’re helping that false situation progress.
Being silent about heresies
is essentially like agreeing with that falsehood.
To remain silent on matters
that pertain to false teachings and godliness
we would be doing great harm to the work of the Lord.
So my plea to Pastors, Church leaders and shepherds,
simply being silent about heresies
isn’t biblical.
James 4:17 declares:
“If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do
and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.”
If we know that God is calling us
to speak out against evil and heresies
but choose to be silent despite that,

George Ong’s heartfelt response
to Rev Tan Cheng Huat’s agreement
to appear in conversation with Peter Kho:
“About 1 month ago,
when I called on Rev Tan Cheng Huat
whether he would consider appearing
in conversation with Peter Kho,
he said yes, without any persuasion from me.
Almost immediately and spontaneously,
I broke down and cried on the phone.
I cried like a baby, literally, like a baby
for quite a while as I was talking to him.
I was sobbing and sobbing away.
This is the first time I ever did that
when I was talking to a fellow Pastor, a man.
Why did I cry like a baby?
No, it’s not because my calling was too heavy a task
that I broke down.
No, it is not because of any personal problems
that I was facing.
I cried because I was filled with gratitude to Rev Cheng Huat
for saying yes to my difficult request almost immediately.
To give you the background, in 2021,
Rev Cheng Huat was among 18 of us
who bravely wrote open letters
to the National Council of Churches of Singapore, (NCCS),
to act against Joseph Prince and his heresies.
All these correspondences by the 18 of us to NCCS,
and later on, another batch of letters by 9 of us to NCCS,
were documented on my website.
Rev Cheng Huat had fought together with me
in the trenches.
He could have said he had done his part 4 years ago,
and that was enough for him.
But he didn’t.
He said yes again to this difficult request of mine
to be in conversation with Peter Kho.
Ask yourself what would Rev Cheng Huat gain
by saying yes to my request
to appear in conversation with Peter Kho?
Nothing.
In fact, he may even invoke the displeasure
of fellow Pastors in Singapore,
who chose not to speak against Joseph Prince
for reasons known only to themselves.
When I called on Elder David Ng Tah Wee
for the same request
after I had spoken to Rev Tan Cheng Huat,
and when Elder David Ng said yes,
I cried again.
But this time, it was with lesser intensity
and for a shorter period.
Why?
For the same reason.
I cried in gratitude to Elder David Ng Tah Wee
for saying yes to my request.
Elder David Ng was also among the 18 of us
who wrote open letters
to the National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS)
4 years ago.
He had also fought together with me in the trenches.
And now, unselfishly, without any gain to himself,
he said yes again to my request.
Another reason I cried is that
it is a near-impossible task
to get fellow Pastors in Singapore
to speak publicly against Joseph Prince’s heresies.
even in their sermons
and through their own social media platforms
such as their Facebook or Website.
Most of them are aware
that Joseph Prince’s teachings are heretical,
but they just won’t bring themselves to say it publicly.
But thank God
for the ‘meagre’ few as compared the ‘plentiful’ many
who dared to speak publicly
against Joseph Prince’s heresies,
such as
Bishop Kuan Kim Seng, Dr Roland Chia,
Rev Derek Hong, Rev Beh Soo Yeong & Pastor Jason Lim.
I do hope and pray that more Pastors,
and also Ex New Creation Church members
will come on board to testify publicly
against Joseph Prince and his heresies.
I believe this is the time and season to speak,
not just write.
Yes, continue to write against the heresies of Joseph Prince,
but this is the season
to also speak out against Joseph Prince and his heresies.
As I am fronting the whole fight
against Joseph Prince’s heresies for the last 7 years,
you have to trust me that as the leader,
I have to be aware
of what works best and what more needs to be done
in each season.
That is why I have to set the example
to move out of my own comfort zone
when I progressed from writing to speaking
against Joseph Prince’s heresies,
starting from December 2024 till now.
it’s not been easy for me to make the adjustment.
If it is an easy thing for me,
I would have done that a long time ago.

“The greatest threat to the church today
does not come from external challenges
but from within its own community.
… the foundational truths of the faith
are increasingly neglected.
Core teachings such as …
sanctification, consecration, and holy living
are rarely heard from pulpits.
Instead, many churches emphasize prosperity, success,
miracles, and fame,
often at the expense of biblical truth.
This shift has led to a dangerous tolerance of false teachings,
with many believers quick to condemn those
who challenge popular but unbiblical doctrines.
Unfortunately, less discerning Christians
are quick to condemn the few like Rev. George Ong
who try to question the false teaching Joseph Prince
is leading the churches through.
Our church is under attack,
and we are hosting our attackers from our own backyard!
I repeat:

The question is
can we disagree with the theology of Joseph Prince,
and do our best to point out to people
where he is wrong?
Of course we can
and this is what Rev George Ong is doing
to warn and to protect the most people
from destructive beliefs and behaviours.
I salute Rev George Ong for his perseverance and courage
to use his gifts and responsibilities
to help the most people believe and live the most truth,
and to protect the most people
from destructive beliefs and behaviours.
Rev George Ong have spent more than 7 years on his knees,
researched, written volumes of books
and producing videos to expose the wiles of Joseph Prince.
Joseph Prince is a “Word of Faith” teacher
and the Word of Faith movement
is made up of false teachings about God,
and is totally unbiblical.
Joseph Prince’s emphasis on “hyper-grace”
often undermines the necessity
of repentance, holiness, and the cost of discipleship.
Jude, an apostle wrote to Christians,
reminding them to defend their shared faith.
He spoke about certain people like Joseph Prince
who had crept into the fold without suspicion
and described them as ungodly men
with destructive doctrine (Jude 1:4).
Pastors and Church leaders,
if you’ve read “Destined to Reign”,
“Eat your way to Life and Health”
or even the latest “Joseph Prince Study Bible App”;
all bear his trademark teachings of a self-centred gospel
than the biblical Gospel
of repentance, faith, and obedience.
Is this not obvious that Joseph Prince’s false teachings
have radically distorted the orthodox Christianity
in so many significant ways
that what Joseph Prince propose
must be regarded as an altogether different gospel. (Gal. 1:6 – 8)
It should not surprise us
that the enemy (Satan) uses undercover agents like Joseph Prince
to infiltrate more often than outright persecution
in order to disrupt the church.
Every local assembly desperately needs elders to take a stand.
These empty talkers must be gagged
so that the sheep are free of their influence.
Those who are tantalized by these rebels’ spell
need to be slapped into an upright position.
If the church has been set adrift,
it is only because pastors are asleep at the helm.
May these words to Titus awaken Christ’s church
from her slumber.
And this is a very stern warning
for us as ministers of God’s word
that we can no longer sleep and be quiet.
How do we deal with False teachers/teachings today?
In 1 Timothy 5:19 – 20,
Paul went beyond just “avoid them”
but to “rebuke them publicly.”
As for those who persist in sin”
— and that can be sin of false doctrine
or sin of evil behaviour,
anyone who does not accept correction
– “rebuke them in the presence of all,
so that the rest may stand in fear…”
So, rebuke them in the presence of all
– that means don’t keep it a secret;
expose it, show it.
Paul tells Timothy to mute the false teachers in 1 Timothy 1:3
As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain people not to teach false doctrines any longer
So Paul here is very blunt.
He’s telling Timothy
stay and silence the false teachers
and stop them from damaging the church
Paul already warned Elders with tears
that savage wolves from among them
will arise to destroy the church.
So, the issue is:
we either silence false teaching or we silence God!
I repeat that:
we either silence false teaching or we silence God!
I would like to call on our Pastors and Church leaders
not to take Joseph Prince’s teaching too lightly.
It is the infiltration of Pseudo – Christianity.
Joseph Prince is like the carnivorous undercover blue butterfly caterpillar
that destroyed a whole ant colony.

And all of us – especially shepherds, pastors
– should be alert and discerning
to identify and, in appropriate ways,
expose Joseph Prince and his false teachings.
In order to protect the flock,
we should expose Joseph Prince
and minimize the spread of the gangrene (2 Tim.2:17).

George Ong’s response to what Rev Tan Cheng Huat said,

In ‘Exposition of Romans Chapters 3:20-4:25,
Atonement and Justification,’
Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:
“I am but trying to follow the example of the Apostle Paul
who, when he was bidding farewell to the elders at Ephesus,
deemed it to be his duty
to warn them against false teaching,
and against certain wolves
who would come in and try to destroy the flock.
Such wolves are rampant at the present time;
and it is a part of the duty of any man
who claims to be a teacher of the Scriptures
to warn men and women against these subtle heresies
that subvert the Christian faith.”
George Ong’s comments:
Note that warning the sheep about wolves
is our mere duty,
and we are not doing anything extra.
And if we can’t even fulfil our basic duty as shepherds,
we had better quit and do something else.
In ‘St Andrew’s Expositional Commentary on Acts,’
RC Sproul wrote:
“Speaking Truth
Our primary concern here, however,
is what happened in the meeting
between Paul and Barnabas and Sergius Paulus (Acts 13:6-12).
As Paul was trying to give the word of God to the proconsul,
he was interrupted by this false prophet
who was doing everything he could
to impede the presentation of the gospel
and prevent the proconsul
from having a favorable response to it.
… We know that Bar-Jesus was a false prophet
because he fought against the truth of God.
Paul could have taken aside Bar-Jesus
in an attempt to speak privately with him
and to avoid a confrontation in front of the proconsul.
He also could have charmed the false prophet
by being gentle in his refutation.
But Paul chose another manner altogether.
Then Saul, who also is called Paul,
filled with the Holy Spirit,
looked intently at him and said,
“O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? (Acts 13:9–10).
Obviously, the Apostle
had not taken time to read Dale Carnegie’s book,
‘How to Win Friends and Influence People.’
He lashed into this man and gave him what for,
and we are told that he spoke in this manner
while filled with the Holy Spirit.
If you are familiar with the life of Paul,
you know that he manifested a pastor’s heart.
In his letters, he admonished believers to be gentle,
patient, long-suffering, kind, and merciful,
and not combative, belligerent, or bellicose
in their relationships.
In that sense, he mirrored Jesus.
Jesus was tender with the downtrodden and the weak,
yet when those in positions of power
stood up to resist the truth of God,
Jesus called them children of hell,
just as Paul now calls this false prophet
a “son of the devil.”
We are not accustomed to that in our Christian practice.
… I thank God that the Apostle Paul loved Bar-Jesus
enough to call him a fraud.
Paul put the gospel out right in front of him
and exposed him.
He was a deceiver who sought by his vocation
to undermine the preaching of the truth.”
George Ong’s comments:
According to RC Sproul,
Paul minced no words and called the heretic, Bar-Jesus or Elymas,
a fraud, and son of the devil (Acts 13:9–10).
This is not the only time that Paul was so tough with heretics.
In Galatians, Paul was equally hard-hitting with them
that he pronounced a double curse on them (Gal 1:8-9).
If the scriptures dealt with false teachers so severely,
do we have any right to deal with them leniently?
The no-nonsense approach taken by the Apostle Paul
towards false teachers (Tit 1:10-14),
is poles apart from the ‘play-it-safe’
and the ‘offend-no-one’ approach
of the contemporary church.
The tough approach of the Apostle Paul
to silence the heretics (Tit 1:11),
would be seen as politically incorrect
and too harsh by the modern church.
The militant and aggressive defence of the truth,
which is what Paul is calling for
has been replaced by open and friendly dialogue
that is more amenable to the cultured church.
When sharp and open rebuke of the heretics
is replaced by friendly conversation and accommodation,
the situation of false teachings in the church
will only worsen. (Tit 1:13).
“Speaking the truth in love” (Eph 4:15)
is only applied to the Body of Christ
and never to unrepentant heretics,
such as Joseph Prince,
who are out to destroy the church.
Instead, we are instructed
to sharply rebuke and silence them (Tit 1:11,13).
It is time to sound the alarm
to stop the momentum of the Pseudo-grace
by sharply rebuking her teachers
and ‘silencing’ the further spread of her insidious doctrine.
Jesus and Paul can be as gentle as doves,
but when it comes to false teachers,
they have no qualms about cursing them
and condemning them to hell
(Matt 23, especially v 33; Gal 1:6-9).
So, let us not be weary
about speaking against and warning others
about this crafty man called Joseph Prince,
who hails from our own backyard in Singapore,
who is not only a serial liar, a serial double-talker, a serial hypocrite,
but worst of all, he is also an unrepentant heretic,
whose heresies are leading droves of people
to the lake of fire.
Finally, let’s be courageous
and do whatever God has called us to do
at all costs
to contend against the heresies of Joseph Prince
(and I have paid a heavy price for this call)
despite the fierce opposition from Joseph Prince’s camp
and sections of the Singapore Church.

“I will share here why I left New Creation Church.
I once attended a New Creation Church care group meeting.
That was the first and also the last time for me there
and here’s why.
After the worship and sharing of the Word sessions were over,
the care-group leader asked if anyone needed prayers.
One brother raised his hand.
Obviously, he needed some special corporate prayers.
He started off by telling us
that he was booked by traffic police for speeding.
He was afraid that his license might be revoked
as he needed to drive for his work.
He also shared that that was not the first time
he got booked by the traffic police.
When I asked him for his driving speed,
he confessed it was 130km/hour!!!
Embarrassed by the look on my face,
he went on to say that after the traffic police left,
he held hands with his girlfriend
who was with him in the car
and both prayed the Psalms of protection
– Psalm 91 over themselves!
All I could say to him then was, “Repent!”
But the moment I said that word, repent,
there arose a commotion.
Everyone there looked at me in disbelief
as they felt that I was being legalistic
which was totally against what Joseph Prince preached.
The care-group leader quickly quietened them down
by starting her prayer over this brother immediately.
That day, I did not say ‘Amen’ to her prayer
and I never returned to that care-group.
The second case happened at a funeral wake.
The father of someone
whom I know from New Creation Church,
committed suicide.
Joseph Prince had been preaching
that since all sins have been forgiven by God,
thus, a Christian will still be saved
even if he/she commits suicide.
At the funeral wake, a New Creation Church leader
tried to console the grieving daughter
by saying that Jesus must have appeared to her father
and had asked him to follow Him.
That’s why her father plunged down from his bedroom window
and that’s how he ended his life.
Everyone who heard this agreed unanimously except me.
I was furious.
Why would Jesus tell anyone to jump down to his death???
Jesus says He comes to give us life,
and life more abundantly!
That was the last straw.
I left New Creation Church and never looked back.”

from the unpardonable sin
of sinning against the Holy Spirit too.
If a believer or preacher keeps taking the name of God in vain,
preaching lies and heresies, and denying the words of God,
he should know that no amount of positive confession
or believing can guarantee forgiveness of God
(not even if he confesses
that he is the righteousness of God
everyday or every hour).
So, it is very unlikely that Joseph Prince does not know this.
So, when he continues to do what he is doing
