Joseph Prince, whose teachings consistently & blatantly contradict that of Father God & the Lord Jesus is undeniable proof that he is a heretic: Parts 1 to 4

Joseph Prince’s New Creation Church at Star Vista Mall
– Glass Panel Fell, Injured 6
Before I cover Parts 1 to 4,
I wish to highlight an incident that happened yesterday
on 20 Apr 2025, on Easter Sunday.
Yesterday, the Straits Times reported an incident
in which a glass panel fell from the third floor of Star Vista
the venue that New Creation Church meets,
and injured 6 people:

Joseph Prince may again,
as he has done so many times over other issues,
slander his critics for rejoicing over such an incident.
Let this be clear that we are not rejoicing over such an incident,
and we pray that those 6 injured will be out of any danger.
Why do I include this incident in my Article/Video?
The reason I am highlighting this incident
is that I believe this is God’s warning and judgement to him
to stop preaching heresies
and leading the multitudes to their destruction.
And Joseph Prince must realise that when he is judged,
it will also affect the wellbeing of many others
who have come under his demonic spell and control.
I am sure you would remember
that Joseph Prince himself said in his sermon on 15 Sep 2024,
that he was involved in the worst accident in his entire life
in early Sep 2024.
Joseph Prince said:
“I was involved in the worst accident in my entire life,
where airbags all came out.
It was a terrible accident.”

I wrote (regarding this worst accident of his life):
“God is warning him
that if he (Joseph Prince) keeps on teaching his heresies
and speaks against
God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit,
and the Holy Scriptures,
which are found in abundance on this website,
more troubles may be lined up against him.”
This incident regarding the glass panel in Star Vista
that fell and injured 6 people,
I believe, is another of God’s warning to him.
“The one who warns people most is one who loves them most
– for love to be love, it has to warn.” (George Ong)
Second, in my previous latest article
released last Thursday on 17 Apr 2025,
I highlighted the fact that Joseph Prince himself said
that Good Things will Happen to Believers
who Know the Love of God.
Joseph Prince would claim he, as the Senior Pastor,
and New Creation Church
know the love of God.
But if that is so, why then has this incident
in which the falling glass panel that injured 6 people
happened to New Creation Church in Star Vista
– a church that so-called love God?
Though no lives were lost,
according to Joseph Prince’s teaching,
this is certainly not a good thing,
to have happened to New Creation Church
on Easter Sunday.

Part 1: Joseph Prince, by saying that Christianity is not a Religion and that it has no Rules, Contravened what Paul & James taught; and that Jesus didn’t come to make Bad People Good, is Spewing out a Lie that Went Against Paul & the Lord Jesus
In the sermon on 2 Feb 2025, Joseph Prince said:
“No, Jesus didn’t say,
“I have come
that you might have rules and more rules,
and religion
that you might have more religion.”
No, He said I have come that you might have life.
He (Jesus) didn’t come to make bad people good
but dead people come alive.
First, Joseph Prince said:
“No, Jesus didn’t say,
“I have come
that you might have rules and more rules,
and religion
that you might have more religion.”
So, Joseph Prince said that
Christianity is not a religion that has rules or obligations
that one should fulfil,
Joseph Prince is wrong on both counts.
Certainly, Christianity is not a religion as many religions do
– that they work to do good deeds to earn their ‘salvation’.
But Christianity is the true religion
that has rules or obligations
that one must fulfil,
as Paul puts it in 1 Timothy 5:4:
1 Timothy 5:4 NIV
4 But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God.
Christianity is the true religion
and there are rules or obligations that we must observe
– such as caring for our own family
and repaying our parents and grandparents
– and Paul said these rules and obligations that we performed
are pleasing to God (1 Tim 5:4).
James echoed what Paul taught in 1 Timothy 5:4,
when he wrote in James 1:26-27:
James 1:26-27 NIV
26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
James didn’t teach against being religious,
but he stressed that to be truly religious
is to keep one’s tongue under control.
James also taught
that there is a religion that is worthless that God rejects
and a religion that is pure and faultless that God accepts.
A religion that God accepts is
– when one performs the rules and duties
– to look after the orphans and widows
and prevent themselves from being polluted by the world.
So, Joseph Prince’s teaching
that Christianity has no rules and is not a religion is unbiblical
because it went against what Paul and James taught
in the scriptures.
Next, Joseph Prince spewed out a half-truth and a lie
when he said:
“No, He said I have come that you might have life.
He (Jesus) didn’t come to make bad people good
but dead people come alive.”
Yes, Jesus taught that He has come that you might have life
and to make the (spiritually) dead people come alive.
But Jesus has also come to make bad people good (righteous),
and because they are now good (righteous),
they can do what is good (righteous deeds).
And Jesus Himself said
that only those who do good (righteous deeds)
will rise to live:
John 5:28-29 NIV
28 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and come out – those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.
Paul echoed the same thought that Jesus taught
that those bad people Jesus has made good (righteous)
will qualify to do good (righteous deeds),
and only those (righteous) who do good (righteous deeds)
will have eternal life:
Romans 2:5-8 NIV
5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
So, Joseph Prince’s teaching
that Jesus has not come to make bad people good (righteous)
went against that of Paul and the Lord Jesus Himself.
Part 2: Joseph Prince’s Grace is Supply and Law is Demand Teaching is Doctrinal Rubbish as it Negates the Very Teachings of Father God and the Lord Jesus
In the sermon on 30 Mar 2025, Joseph Prince said:
“Grace is supply,
law is demand.”
In the sermon on 1 Sep 2024, Joseph Prince said:
“The law was until Jesus came
and then grace and truth came, Hallelujah.
Supply came.
Grace is supply.
Think of grace as supply.
And law is demand, demand.”
In other words,
Joseph Prince is saying
that the Old Covenant demand of the law existed
until Jesus came.
And when Jesus came,
He brought with him the New Covenant supply of grace.
Joseph Prince, can you give just one explicit text
in the scriptures that said,
‘New Covenant grace is supply
and Old Covenant law is demand’?
I bet you can’t produce even one.
Friends, let it be known that there isn’t any text
that underpins such doctrinal rubbish.
But there are texts that contradict such a principle.
The strict demands and requirements
on the covenantal people of God apply regardless of whether
they are in the Old or the New Covenant.
In fact, from a certain perspective,
the demands and requirements of the New Covenant
are even more exacting than the Old Covenant
as can be seen from just 2 texts,
Luke 14:25-27 and 33 and Revelation 2:10:
Luke 14:26-27,33 NIV
26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters – yes, even their own life – such a person cannot be my disciple. 27 And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.” 33 “In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples.”
Revelation 2:10 NIV
10 “Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.”
As you can see, Jesus is absolutely demanding.
Jesus demands a 100 percent loyalty
from New Covenant believers
that transcends even our closest families and friends.
Jesus demands our total commitment and ultimate allegiance,
which requires our willingness
to lay down our lives on the altar of sacrifice for His sake.
So, who says the Old Covenant God is stricter in His demands
than what the New Testament God requires?
While there are many promises of wealth and prosperity
to Old Covenant people,
the New Covenant believers
are warned not only not to be covetous of wealth
but also to expect suffering, persecution and even martyrdom
as a typical norm of their Christian Faith.
Furthermore, while the Old Testament
has a massive 613 dos and don’ts,
including the Ten Commandments,
many believers aren’t even aware
that the New Testament has even more.
In the New Testament,
there are about 1,100 dos and don’ts,
nearly twice as many as the Old Testament.
The New Testament contains 1,100 things for us to do and not do,
and that’s part of the demands placed on New Testament believers.
On the other hand,
some of the greatest displays
of the supply of God’s grace and mercy
was not in the New Testament
but the Old Testament,
when God saved the entire city of Nineveh,
a city of more than 120,000 wicked people,
from destruction:
Jonah 3:10 NIV
10 When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.
Jonah 4:11 NIV
11 “And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left – and also many animals?”
Even Peter’s preaching on the Day of Pentecost
pales in comparison.
Peter’s preaching at Pentecost, as great as it may be,
brought only 3,000 people (by comparison) into the Kingdom.
But Jonah’s preaching
brought the entire city of more than 120,000 people,
including the king to be converted.
Who says the supply of the grace of God
is only experienced in the New Testament?
Who says the supply of the grace of God
isn’t evident in the Old Testament?
God is a God of grace
both in the Old and the New Testament.
In fact, His supply of grace that was displayed
in the case of Nineveh in the Old Testament
was much more abundant and far more bountiful
than many instances in the New Testament.
So, Joseph Prince’s teaching
that grace in the New Covenant is supply
and law in the Old Covenant is demand
is exposed to be pure garbage
and should be tossed out of the window.
Part 3: Joseph Prince has Lied & Maligned God & His word when he said, “God found fault with the first covenant of law,” when God’s word clearly said, “The law of the Lord is perfect.” (Psa 19:7)
In the sermon on 30 Mar 2025, Joseph Prince said:
“And the Bible says,
“God found fault with that covenant.” (Heb 8:7).
How many are glad God found fault that covenant?
So, God says, “Behold I made a New Covenant.”
In ‘Destined To Reign’, Joseph Prince wrote,
“I know that I have stepped on a few toes
because of what I have just said.
But please understand that it is not Joseph Prince
who is finding fault with the old covenant of law.
The Word of God says,
“For if that first covenant had been faultless,
then no place would have been sought
for a second.” (Heb 8:7)
God Himself found fault with the old covenant of law
and the Ten Commandments.
“By cutting a new covenant of grace,
God “has made the first obsolete” (Heb 8:13).
In other words,
with the advent of the new covenant of grace,
the Ten Commandments have been made obsolete.”
Joseph Prince has lied because the New Covenant
doesn’t do away with the moral law of God.
It doesn’t renounce the law of God or obedience to the law.
In fact, it makes the law closer and dearer to us
– it makes the law more important
by putting the law in our hearts
instead of being engraved on tablets of stones.
God’s laws were often disobeyed by the Israelites
under the Old Covenant.
But the problem wasn’t because the law was bad or burdensome.
It was because of the people (Heb 8:7-8).
It is here that the half-truth specialist,
Joseph Prince, strikes again.
He tells you only one half of the truth in Hebrews 8:7:
“For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant,
no place would have been sought for another.”
But he hides the other half of the truth in Hebrews 8:8:
“But God found fault with the people…”
The first covenant didn’t work (Heb 8:7)
only because God found fault with His people (Heb 8:8).
The root fault is not with the Old Covenant
because the law is perfect (Psa 19:7).
The fault lies with the people, with their hearts of stone.
Joseph Prince wrote,
“God Himself found fault with the old covenant of law
and the Ten Commandments.”
Think with me, how can God’s law be at fault?
Did the Bible say the law of God is imperfect,
and that’s why it is at fault?
No!
But on the contrary, the Bible categorically declares
that the law of God is perfect (Psa 19:7):
Psalm 19:7 NIV
7 “The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.”
How can something which is perfect be at fault?
Though God’s law is perfect (Psa 19:7),
it is men’s hearts that were the root of the problem (Heb 8:8).
The problem is related to the heart of the people (Heb 8:8,10),
not God’s law.
Therefore, the solution and change
are related to the heart of men
and not God’s law.
Our hearts are at fault, God’s law is perfect.
God’s law is not broken, we are broken.
God fixed what was broken,
not what was already perfect
as the perfect cannot be fixed or made better.
Instead of the law working from the outside in,
God promised a new heart to work from the inside out (Heb 8:10).
This is the spiritual transformation
promised in the New Covenant.
Scripture does not teach that God’s law was the problem,
and thus, we needed a new law.
Scripture teaches that our hearts were a problem,
and therefore, we needed a new heart.
In ‘The New International Commentary on the New Testament
on The Epistle to the Hebrews written by FF Bruce’,
Page 190, he wrote,
“The defect did not lie in the covenant-law;
it was good in itself
but, to borrow Paul’s language,
“it was weakened by the flesh” (Rom 8:3)
– by the inadequacy of the human material
which it had to work upon.
What was needed was a new nature, a heart
liberated from its bondage to sin,
a heart which not only spontaneously knew
and loved the will of God
but had the power to do it.”
FF Bruce was a accomplished scholar,
who knew what he was talking about.
And he expressed the same view
that what was at fault or defective
is not the Old Covenant-law,
but what was needed is a change in our hardened hearts,
from a heart of sin to a heart of love and obedience.
But what Joseph Prince falsely teaches
is that since the law is at fault and is the problem,
God did away with the Ten Commandments
and made it obsolete.
The truth is the problem is not with God’s law
but the problem is the heart of the people (Heb 8:8,10),
Hebrews 8:8,10 NIV
8 “But God found fault with the people and said: “The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.”
10 “This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts…”
The fault is with God’s people,
not with His law, which is perfect.
Therefore, the solution and change
are related to man’s heart
and not God’s law
because God’s law is perfect. (Psa 19:7)
So, Joseph Prince by saying the fault is with God’s law
is also saying that God’s law is imperfect
– and this is tantamount to maligning God and His word
because His word had clearly stated that God’s law is perfect
and no fault could be found in something that is perfect.
Part 4: Joseph Prince’s ploy to get rid of repentance by equating repentance with belief rebelled against God’s command to repent (Acts 17:30) and defied Jesus’ command to repent or perish (Lk 13:3,5) – Joseph Prince’s no-repentance gospel will make people perish
In the sermon on 30 Mar 2025, Joseph Prince said:
“Pastor Prince, I heard of people saying
you teach that you know you don’t confess our sins.
No, no. I, I, I do teach repentance.
But you must always understand
by believing the truth,
you are actually repenting.”
Joseph Prince, ploy to get rid of repentance,
by equating it with belief,
is rebelling against God’s command to repent:
Acts 17:30 NIV
30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
Joseph Prince, ploy to get rid of repentance,
by equating it with belief,
is also defying Jesus’ command to repent or perish:
Luke 13:5,7 NIV
3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
There is no doubt that Joseph Prince is a heretic
as his no-repentance gospel
will make you perish.
I will let Derek Prince do the job
of demolishing Joseph Prince’s no-repentance gospel
when he said:
“And the title of this message is
‘Through repentance to Faith.’
And I want to say right at the beginning
there is no other way to faith except through repentance.
Any other way that claims to get you there is a deception.
True faith is impossible without repentance.
And faith comes only after repentance.
The whole message of the Bible is in this order:
Repent and believe.
But without true repentance,
there can never be true faith.
Now I want to emphasise
that repentance must go before faith.
There is no true faith without repentance.
And this is emphasised all through the New Testament.
Jesus came to Galilee preaching the gospel,
and saying the time is fulfilled
and the kingdom of God is at hand,
repent and believe the gospel.
Repent and believe.
You cannot truly believe unless you have first repented.
The first word of command
that ever came from the lips of Jesus
was not believe, but repent.
But you cannot have true faith in Jesus
unless you have first true repentance towards God.
You see the New Testament is so consistent.
Now the Bible says
there is only one alternative to repentance.
This is stated in Luke chapter 13. Luke 13,
the first few verses.
“But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”
There is only 2 alternatives: repent or perish.
Those are the words of Jesus Himself.”
I will also let the following well-respected Bible teachers
demolished Joseph Prince’s no-repentance gospel:
In ‘Great Doctrines of the Bible,’
Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:
“Repentance must be there;
faith must be there.
If one is missing, it is not conversion.
Both are essential.”
In ‘What Is Saving Faith,’
John Piper wrote:
“Repentance: Basic to the Message of the New Testament
The command to repent is foundational
to the message of Jesus.
… When he began his public ministry,
the first command Jesus spoke was “Repent.”
He (Jesus) said that the call to repentance
was the very reason he had come into the world:
“I have not come to call the righteous
but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32).
In ‘Paths to Power,’
AW Tozer wrote:
“Repent and believe is the order.
Faith will follow repentance,
and salvation will be the outcome.
Any interpretation of free grace
which relieves the sinner of responsibility to repent
is not of God
nor in accordance with revealed truth.”
In ‘The New Testament, Spurgeon’s Sermons By Each Book.’
Charles Spurgeon said:
“I do not believe in the faith
that is unaccompanied by repentance.”
In ‘The Complete Works of JC Ryle,’
JC Ryle wrote:
“That is no Gospel
in which repentance is not a principal thing.
A Gospel!
It is not the Gospel at all;
it is rank antinomianism, and nothing else.”
JI Packer wrote:
“The idea that there can be saving faith
without repentance,
… is a destructive delusion.”
In ‘Christian Mission’ by John Stott,
John Stott wrote:
“We saw in the second chapter on evangelism
that repentance and faith
are the twin demands of the gospel,
and we have already noted in this chapter
that the two together constitute conversion.
It is the element of repentance
which is regrettably absent
from much modern evangelistic preaching,
although it was prominent in the message of our Lord (e.g., Mark 1:15; Luke 13:3, 5)
and of his apostles (e.g., Acts 2:38; 3:19; 17:30).
Our anxiety to win converts sometimes induces us
to mute the call to repentance.”
In ‘Authentic Christianity, Studies in the Book of Acts, Volume 1,’
Martyn Lloyd-Jones said:
“Acts 3:19
… and if you have never repented,
you are not in the kingdom of God.
This is essential.
There is only one door that leads to God’s kingdom
– it is repentance.”
In conclusion,
one can clearly see that Joseph Prince’s deceptive aim
to get rid of repentance by equating it with belief,
is not only rebelling against Father God’s command to repent (Acts 17:30)
and defied Jesus’ command to repent or perish (Lk 13:3,5),
but it also went against the teachings of well-respected Bible teachers
such as Charles Spurgeon, AW Tozer, JC Ryle,
Martyn Lloyd-Jones, John Stott, JI Packer and John Piper.
But what is most damning about Joseph Prince’s no-repentance teaching
is that in the very words of the Lord Jesus,
it will lead you to perish;
“But unless you repent, you too will all perish.” (Lk 13:5)
“But unless you repent, you too will all perish.” (Lk 13:7)
It is beyond any doubt
that anyone who leads you to perish is a heretic.
And those who stubbornly choose to follow a heretic
with both eyes open
would be damned as Joseph Prince would.
