Part 2: What drives Ex New Creation Church member, Daniel Chong to share his testimony publicly that Joseph Prince is a wolf in sheep’s clothing is the frightening worldwide heretical influence that he wields (Dated 11 Feb 2025)
George Ong’s Heartfelt Sharing:
“As I have said it twice on my website,
I would have to stop contending against Joseph Prince
if God tells me to.
And I am sure if it is God’s will,
He will prepare another man to lead the charge.
But as long as God didn’t tell me to stop,
I will go on to fight this battle.
No, to date,
I don’t have the calling to go back to Pastoring
and that has not been my burden to shoulder.
And if you have found a church in Singapore
that is willing to sponsor my ministry against the heretic,
Joseph Prince, kindly let me know.
I have been around the Singapore church scene
a long time,
and preached in plenty of the churches (previously),
but I could hardly find one.
Next, do I expect Joseph Prince to fall from grace
just because I have been faithfully and perseveringly
doing what I did
for the last 7 years?
No, and I have said that on my website.
This is not my department;
this is God’s turf.
We have to do what we can
and leave the rest with God.
But that doesn’t mean we don’t do our best in our calling;
that doesn’t mean we don’t stretch beyond our comfort zone;
that doesn’t mean we don’t take risk for Him;
that doesn’t mean we don’t say
in the words of Prophet Isaiah,
“Here am I. Send me!” (Isa 6:8),
instead of “Here am I. Send him!”
or, “Here am I. Send her!”
If more and more believers and especially leaders
are prepared to say,
“Here am I. Send me!”
I believe God will certainly be more pleased
than displeased.
And I thank God that 4 brave men have come forward
because they said, “Here am I. Send me!”:
Daniel Tay, Aaron Khoo,
Jeffrey Teo and Daniel Chong.
And I pray and hope
that more will follow their fine example and be counted.”

but Lawrence Lim preached in his stead.
Is he sick or hospitalised, no one knows.
It seems like Joseph Prince’s absence from the pulpit
is liken as top secret that no one ought to know.

Excerpt No 1 of what Daniel Chong said:
“Really, all in all,
I would say Joseph Prince is a wolf in sheep’s clothing,
crept into the church, quite unnoticed,
as Jude says in his epistle.
There are people who creeps into the church unnoticed
and caused all sorts of division
to fulfil whatever desires they have,
whether it’s a gospel of comfort,
gospel of compromise, or whatever.”
George Ong’s comments:
It is so important we are aware
that Joseph Prince is not a brother-in-Christ,
but a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
If Prince is a brother-in-Christ,
we will be sinning against God
for treating him in that no-nonsense way.
We must be tough
with unrepentant false teachers like Joseph Prince
in the same way as Jesus was to the Pharisees,
who were the unrepentant false teachers of His day.
Of course, we hope that Joseph Prince would repent.
If he truly repents,
we, as the Church should graciously forgive him
and restore him back to ministry again
after a period of restoration.
Excerpt No 2 of what Daniel Chong said:
“You brought up the point
that Joseph Prince is very prominent in Singapore.
But it’s not just that,
he has a worldwide audience as well.
And his message, his theology
reaches millions of people worldwide
through his television broadcast and all that.
People turn on the TV and they see him.
They turn on the radio maybe in some countries
and they see him as well.
And not only people are being influenced,
but some churches overseas are also being influenced
by his theology as well.
And if it is a false theology, which it is,
we have to counter it
because we have to stand for the word of God.
It’s not something
that we do out of spite for Joseph Prince.
But we have to defend God
and we have to stand up for Him
even if it means that it costs us greatly,
in the sense of we are persecuted by people
and we are maligned by people.
We have to do this.
I would say also that not just his worldwide influence
but Joseph Prince has been consistent in preaching
what he preaches for the last few decades,
even when I have been there for 14 years.
He still preaches the same thing,
preaching the wrong things, yes.
Really, a lot of falsehoods,
a lot of heretical things
which I will go through, some of them,
some of the more common ones.
So, really his influence, his worldwide influence,
his consistency and I think,
those are also reasons
as to what drives me to appear here,
and publicly defend the faith.”
