Thankfully, he did. We met. Hence, his testimony.

 

I honour Luke Pong for his courage to write his testimony

 

in such a vulnerable way,

 

and bearing his soul for the world to see.

 

Why?

 

To expose Joseph Prince, in Luke’s own words,

 

not only as an “dangerous, wicked, and evil man,”

 

but also one who moves in the spirit of Satan,

 

so that those who are under his demonic influence

 

could come out of it before it is too late.

 

May more Ex New Creation Church members

 

follow Luke Pong’s example

 

to write or tell their stories

 

for the sake of saving others

 

from the demonic spell

 

and destructive hold of Joseph Prince

to remove the big mole or dark patch from his face.

 

All his talk of having a young and smooth skin

 

because he takes the Holy Communion

 

is all a bluff.”

Now, the cat is out of the bag.

 

I myself have noticed watching Joseph Prince from videos

 

that in his earlier and younger years,

 

there were already spots on his face,

 

but they seemed to have disappeared

 

in his later look.

 

Now, we have the evidence

 

from the first-hand account

 

of Luke Pong’s Testimony

 

that Joseph Prince has indeed gone

 

for Botox or Plastic Surgery.

 

This means his boast

 

about his youthful and smooth look,

 

as a result of partaking the Holy Communion

 

is a scam.

 

The next question to ask is

 

whether the thick crop of hair on Joseph Prince’s head

 

is for real,

 

or, is his head covered by a wig?

 

 

10. I Had Not Paid Heed to Many Red Flags of Warnings about Joseph Prince

 

“… In my view, it would not be incorrect to say that

 

Joseph Prince’s many untruths or lies,

 

half-truths and distorted doctrines

 

were mixed with truths

 

and they are just too numerous to count…”

I have heard well-meaning people,

 

even Pastors who are against Joseph Prince’s teachings say:

 

“Well, I know there are many untruths or lies

 

in Joseph Prince’s teachings,

 

but we must appreciate

 

there are truths too that he teaches

 

that we can learn.”

 

But one must note that

 

as long as there are untruths or lies

 

in Joseph Prince’s message,

 

the whole message would have to be thrown out. 

 

In ‘Spurgeon’s Commentary, The Whole Bible,’

 

Charles Spurgeon wrote:

 

“1 John 2:21.

I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

 

The truth is all of a piece,

 

and a lie cannot be a part of the truth.

 

Christ does not teach us a Jesuitical system

 

 in which error and falsehood

 

are mixed up with truth;

 

the gospel is all truth,

 

and to those who believe it we may say,

 

“Ye know the truth,

 

and ye also know

 

that no lie is of the truth.””

 

Charles Spurgeon’s point is that

 

as long as there is a lie that is mixed in the truth,

 

the truth that is distorted with the lie

 

can no longer be truth.

 

Mixing lies into truths

 

is no different from adding a little poison

 

into a glass of water.

 

Just a drop of lies or poison

 

would contaminate the whole glass of water.

 

Once contaminated,

 

the entire glass of water would have to be disposed of

 

into the rubbish chute,

 

as it is no longer fit for human consumption.

 

Not even a single bit of the water

 

can be drunk without being poisoned.

 

In the same way,

 

just a little lie or error of heresy

 

is lethal enough to contaminate the whole doctrine,

 

even though it may contain many truths.

 

And because the whole doctrine

 

is now poisoned with lies or errors,

 

it can no longer be accepted as truth,

 

as whatever is being preached

 

has already been corrupted and distorted.

 

 

11. One day, Everything Changed When I was Struck with Panic Attacks

 

“But one day, everything changed.

 

Suddenly, a trauma struck me out of the blue.

 

I experienced a series of very severe panic attacks

 

that lasted for a few months.

 

In the midst of my merry-going life,

 

God interrupted and completely disrupted my world.

 

… My body, too, began to suffer

 

– searing sensations coursed through me.

 

My skin felt like it was crawling,

 

and I experienced sharp, stabbing pain,

 

as if millions of needles were pricking me all at once.

 

Yet, the worst torment wasn’t physical

 

– it was the unbearable anguish of my soul.

 

… Though I was still working at the time,

 

I could not sleep for days.

 

I walked around and still went to work literally like a zombie.

 

… In desperation, I sought help

 

from a well-known Pastor from New Creation Church,

 

but he showed no interest in listening to me.

 

I tried again, hoping he would help,

 

but I could see that he was avoiding me.

 

He turned me away once more, saying he was busy.

 

I was in extreme distress and desperation

 

– mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

 

My body reflected my suffering.

 

I lost 7 to 10 kgs,

 

and my face bore the look of a man lost in anguish.

15. Joseph Prince Dishonoured His Parents

 

“He has a ‘false name’ calling himself Joseph Prince,

 

dishonouring his parents

 

who gave him his original name

 

and brought him to this world,

 

thereby rebelliously breaking

 

one of the Ten Commandments

 

to honour his father and mother.”

Changing one’s name is one thing,

 

but changing one’s surname is quite another.

 

Such an act is clearly shaming his own father,

 

and Joseph Prince is also giving the impression

 

that he is ashamed of his own lineage and ethnicity

 

that God has brought him into.

 

 

16. How I Bumped into Rev George Ong’s Website & Read & Studied Through His Ten Volumes of Books, comprising 4,800 Pages

 

“For several years, I sincerely searched for the truth.

 

I began to doubt the teachings of Joseph Prince

 

and New Creation Church.

 

During this period,

 

I read and studied the Bible twice,

 

researched extensively online,

 

and examined various perspectives

 

on Joseph Prince’s teachings.

 

Yet, I struggled to fully grasp the extent of his errors

 

and could not immediately accept

 

that he was profoundly wrong

 

– that he is a heretic promoting false doctrines.

 

But one day, all that changed

 

when a friend from Bethesda Bedok Tampines Church (BBTC)

 

sent me a link to Rev. George Ong’s website.

 

At the time, there were no videos available

 

on Rev George Ong’s website,

 

so I meticulously read and studied

 

all Ten Volumes of his books

 

– 4,800 pages – (then, no videos yet)

 

of his incredibly detailed, thorough, comprehensive

 

and forensic analysis.

 

Let me say again and I am not exaggerating

 

that I read through

 

and studied all Ten Volumes of his books

 

comprising 4,800 pages.

 

Rev George Ong’s Ten Volumes of books

 

was indeed an investigative and detective work,

 

fully supported by the whole counsel of God’s Word.”

 

 

19. Rev. George Ong’s Exhaustive & Systematic 4,800-page Analysis on his Website Left No Room for Doubt that Joseph Prince is a False Teacher

 

“Many websites have attempted to expose his false doctrines

 

by quoting his sermons and countering them with Scripture,

 

but they often fall short

 

of fully convincing Joseph Prince’s followers

 

because they are taking potshots,

 

which are not quite effective or convincing.

 

However, Rev. George Ong’s

 

exhaustive 4,800-page analysis on his website

 

left no room for doubt.

1. How I Got Connected to New Creation Church & Joseph Prince

 

“Before I attended New Creation Church,

 

I came from a fairly large and well-known

 

independent charismatic church.

 

At that time, New Creation Church

 

was probably the only church

 

that I know of

 

that had mid-week teaching service on Wednesday.

 

My journey with New Creation Church

 

started in the year 2000

 

when she was at Suntec City.

 

A cell group member of my former church

 

introduced me and my wife to New Creation Church.

 

The church has around 3,000 attendees then.

 

At the time, I was interested to know more about the Bible.

 

My presumed knowledge was that every church

 

that preaches the Bible is Christian

 

and I trust the teachings of Pastors.

 

Since we were free on Wednesdays,

 

we started to attend

 

New Creation Church mid-week service

 

for ‘extra helping’,

 

with no intention of leaving my former church

 

as I was a cell group leader then.  

 

2. What Drew Me to Joseph Prince

 

At the time, Joseph Prince taught on issues

 

that my former church never taught on

 

for the last 10-plus years I attended.

 

He taught on the tabernacle

 

and the various offerings and festivals in Leviticus.

 

I was a professional with a growing family, and honestly,

 

I think most of us

 

have no time to study the Bible for ourselves.

 

We don’t read through the Bible book by book.

 

We read the Bible here and there,

 

and some devotionals, and occasionally some books.

 

God communicated to us book by book,

 

but somehow, contemporary churches

 

teach by topics and subjects,

 

and so, it is difficult to see

 

God’s evolving plan and revelation.

 

Lay people somehow have high regard and high respect

 

for preachers and teachers.

 

So, we never questioned Joseph Prince,

 

or do the Berean work ourselves

 

because most of us don’t read the Bible.

 

And Joseph Prince frequently claimed he heard from God

 

and God talked to him.

 

It is almost as if he has a direct hotline to God.

 

Joseph Prince was apparently moving in signs and wonders,

 

calling out healings and prophesizing about the future.

 

That got me so transfixed,

 

and I decided to move over to New Creation Church.

 

Then I thought he must be so anointed and so special with God

 

for God to talk to him and through him.

 

He also claimed that what he heard from God

 

and was taught by God was truth.

 

Thus, no questions asked.

 

 

3. Joseph Prince Never Teaches on False Teachers & False Doctrines

 

I have no idea

 

about the existence of false teachers and false prophets,

 

and even less

 

that they will arise from among Christian communities

 

until I left New Creation Church

 

when I read in 2 Peter 2:1 which states:

 

“But there were also false prophets among the people,

 

just as there will be false teachers among you,

 

who will secretly bring in destructive heresies…”

 

When I was New Creation Church for the last 18 years or so,

 

I never heard Joseph Prince

 

talk about false teachers and false prophets even once.

 

This is despite the fact that throughout the whole Bible,

 

from the Old Testament to the New,

 

there were many warnings to believers

 

about false teachers and false teachings.

 

This makes them one of the main subjects in the Bible.

 

And in Revelation, it culminates with the appearance

 

of the Anti-Christ (Another Christ) and False Prophet.

 

George Ong’s Comments:

 

Now you know why Joseph Prince never teaches

 

on false prophets and false teachings.

 

He could not have taught on something

 

that is against his own teachings.

 

Moreover, teachings on false prophets,

 

would straightaway incriminate him as one.

 

 

4. Joseph Prince Teaches Radical Grace & Against Law

 

Joseph Prince’s main teaching is grace

 

and that laws and commandments

 

have been made obsolete for believers.

 

He also teaches that since Jesus came under the Law,

 

His teachings are not relevant and applicable

 

to New Covenant believers.

 

We bought into his teachings wholesale

 

because he claimed that

 

while he was driving up the Alps in Switzerland

 

on a holiday in 1997,

 

and his wife was sleeping next to him,

 

God spoke clearly to him

 

that unless he preached grace radically

 

(grace without law),

 

his people will not be radically blessed.

 

And so, we believed in his grace teachings

 

because we all want to be radically blessed,

 

which is the operative word for me.

5. Joseph Prince’s Prosperity Gospel Latched on to Me like a Leech

 

I suspect that for many, especially, those of us

 

who come from a Chinese culture of ‘god of fortune’

 

and Chinese New Year, ‘Lo Hei’,

 

every Chinese wants to be rich.

 

And that’s probably why many people resonated with

 

Joseph Prince’s Prosperity Gospel teachings.

 

Joseph Prince literally said

 

God wants to bless you out of your socks.

 

Remember, I mentioned that Joseph Prince said

 

God wants to bless us radically

 

with his radical grace message.

 

To convince people about his Prosperity Gospel doctrine,

 

he cited testimonies of people winning lotteries,

 

lucky draw prizes, and even a condominium.

 

He also cited testimonies of believers

 

who followed his teaching,

 

winning big projects without a prior track record.

 

Then, the highpoint for Joseph Prince

 

must have been the Founder of Hyflux

 

where he boasted that she,

 

from a nobody, became a multi-millionaire,

 

and he attributed her success to listening

 

to his cassette tapes, CDs and books about his teaching.

 

I myself purchased tons

 

of Joseph Prince’s cassette tapes, CDs and books

 

in the many years when I was in New Creation Church.

 

Joseph Prince always said what God has done for others,

 

you are next on the list,

 

and that kept us hoping and hoping,

 

but it never came to pass.

 

Looking back, it is an illusion,

 

and it is like chasing after the wind.

 

Joseph Prince’s false turbo-charged prosperity messages

 

latched on to me like a leech.

 

It sets me on a rocket fuel journey

 

in hot pursuit for money,

 

and the good life

 

and the hope of early retirement to enjoy life.

 

Along the way,

 

in order to enjoy the wealth that Joseph Prince preaches, 

 

sadly, I found in my own life,

 

that compromises have started to set in.

 

Joseph Prince’s prosperity teachings is no different

 

from getting New Creation Church members

 

to chase after the same things

 

that the Gentiles of the world

 

are eagerly seeking.

 

This is precisely what the Lord Jesus Himself spoke of,

 

“For the Gentiles seek all these things…” (Matt 6:32)

 

Slowly but surely, and sub-consciously,

 

Joseph Prince’s Prosperity Gospel message

 

started to get a covetous hold on me.

 

I was becoming greedier and greedier.

 

Later, I learned in Colossians 3:5

 

that greed and covetousness is idolatry.

 

And the warning against covetousness

 

by Apostle Paul in Colossians 3:5,

 

is part of the Ten Commandments or the law.

 

Did the Law and commandments

 

disappear from Paul’s teaching?

 

No way!

 

Out of the Ten Commandments,

 

Paul cited 9 of them in his epistles,

 

and he even taught and elaborated on them.

 

Looking back, Joseph Prince has actually

 

presented a golden calf idol religion

 

and mixing Christian messages to the people,

 

and then calling it Grace Revolution

 

– which is more like Grace Rebellion.

 

He even reduced all the attributes of God

 

to just the attribute of grace

 

and teaches the false doctrine that Jesus is Grace.

 

He is literally presenting worldly messages

 

of the ‘god of fortune’

 

and mixing with Christian names and terms.

 

After attending for 3-4 years, one day, I said to myself,

 

“Wah! God is so, so good.

 

He allows me to live the life I want

 

and the way I want it.

 

No condemnation.

 

God will never get angry with me.

 

If God disciplines me,

 

it is only in the form of child training.

 

There is no strict or strong discipline by God.

 

All sins forgiven,

 

and there’s not even the need to confess them.

 

Christians ought to focus on the positives

 

and never the negatives,

 

and all negatives are assigned to the devil.

 

And so God was like a Genie out of the bottle

 

– a Santa Claus kind of God.

 

Like the Chinese god of fortune, so to speak.”

 

With all these teachings that cater to my flesh

 

I felt so good and liberated.

 

And all these added to luring and ‘sucking’ people like me

 

into believing and trusting him.

 

And so, for the next 15-16 years or so,

 

I was on a merry hunt for the blessed life.

 

I was happy after the Sunday messages and sing-along

 

and waiting for my big break to come,

 

believing all this while that I’ve got a ticket to heaven

 

and my days will be like the days of heaven

 

upon the earth (KJV Deut 11:21).

 

But after I left New Creation Church,

 

I discovered that there were other translations

 

which put it somewhat differently

 

“… so long as the heavens are above the earth,

 

your days and those of your children

 

may be multiplied in the land

 

that the Lord swore to give your fathers.”

 

I also later learned that there is a proviso

 

or condition to the blessing in Deuteronomy 11:21

 

– that the Israelites had to obey the Law

 

which Joseph Prince never mentions at all

 

as he is against the teaching of the law. 

 

Looking back, I found myself soberly wondering:

 

If God had cut my life short

 

when I was living a carnal, worldly and covetous life,

 

would I have truly been with the Lord Jesus in heaven?

 

 

6. I Remembered Joseph Prince Has a Big Mole or Dark Patch on his Face, but one day, I Discovered It Suddenly Disappeared

 

I remembered very clearly

 

that Joseph Prince used to have

 

a big mole or a dark patch on his face,

 

but one day, I discovered it suddenly disappeared.

 

It could not have disappeared just like that.

 

It is very obvious that Joseph Prince

7. Reading from the Bible was Replaced with Listening to Joseph Prince’s Teachings

 

Over time, like me, many in New Creation Church,

 

reading from the Bible was mostly replaced with

 

listening to Joseph Prince’s teachings.

 

I literally devoured Joseph Prince’s teachings

 

be they on cassette tapes, later, on CDs and the books.

 

In the time when I served as an usher

 

for the first 7 years there

 

and when I attended cell group,

 

I continued to devour

 

more of the same stuff of his teachings.

 

Joseph Prince became the invisible star

 

of cell group meetings,

 

and his teachings are the central teaching.

 

His teaching materials also literally replace

 

the necessary reading of the Bible.

 

Joseph Prince seemed to understand

 

that we are busy people

 

as he said if you don’t have time, 

 

at least we ought to read his daily devotional,

 

and listen to his sermons,

 

while travelling in MRT or cars and meditating on them.

 

In retrospect, this is how he brainwashed his people

 

by constantly exposing them to his sermons.

 

In effect, Joseph Prince’s teachings

 

have replaced God’s word in my life

 

And by extension,

 

Joseph Prince has also usurped the place of God in my life.

 

 

8. False Teaching: Joseph Prince as the Leader must be Blessed First Before these Blessings Trickle Down to Members

 

We were told we can write cheques to Joseph Prince

 

and put it in the offering bag

 

which I did,

 

and we can claim to be the next in line to be blessed.

 

This is because of Joseph Prince’s teaching

 

such as Psalm 133:2,

 

which is a grossly distorted teaching

 

that Joseph Prince as head of New Creation Church

 

must be greatly blessed first

 

before these blessings trickle down

 

to layman and church members.

 

Joseph Prince was greatly blessed indeed.

 

He lives the higher and higher life,

 

and having more and more fanciful holidays,

 

while most of us live in HDB flats, waiting for our breaks.

 

 

9. Joseph Prince Kept Accumulating the Millions

 

Joseph Prince always preached

 

that to enter into the rest of God,

 

God will do everything for you,

 

and also to enrich you.

 

So, we are not to be anxious or worry about tomorrow.

 

Very often, he likes to preach on the imminent rapture. 

 

Sometimes I wondered why Joseph Prince

 

is still accumulating millions

 

when he already had the millions?

 

Does he really believe

 

in resting in God and Jesus’ finished work

 

with the millions he already had,

 

and still wanting more,

 

as he keeps coming up with schemes

 

to still accumulate millions

 

like the writing of book after book,

 

and his online purchase of his sermons?

 

And the latest is his book, ‘How to Read the Bible,’

 

and the Joseph Prince’s Study Bible App

 

with the various monthly subscription plans

 

in which those who are keen

 

would have to pay to view the sermons.

 

So, is Joseph Prince the real or plain hypocrite?

 

 

10. I Had Not Paid Heed to Many Red Flags of Warnings about Joseph Prince

 

Another red flag is I wondered why

 

Joseph Prince never goes to preach in poor countries

 

when they most needed his Prosperity message

 

to become rich,

 

and when the masses of poor and sick people

 

needed to be healed

 

by his supposed gifts of healing.

 

Still another red flag is why he went to America

 

and to Joel Osteen’s church first,

 

in particular to promote his Switzerland god encounter

 

and grace message

 

when I recalled Paul said in Romans 15:20 which states

 

“And thus I make it my ambition to preach the gospel,

 

not where Christ has already been named,

 

lest I build on someone else’s foundation.”  

 

These are some red flags that arose in me

 

but I just shrugged them off

 

because of the overdose of Joseph Prince’s

 

man-centred, self-centred and self-serving gospel,

 

in which I was too intoxicated with.

 

For example, I was impressed

 

when Joseph Prince said that he stood on the shoulders

 

of a famous and word-of-faith giant, Kenneth Hagin.

 

Joseph Prince related that his wife

 

even attended Hagin’s funeral

 

to show his closeness to him.

 

Joseph Prince has got different strokes for different folks

 

for different times to lure and lull the people

 

and keep them there in New Creation Church.

 

Numbers would mean more customers

 

– which they would in turn contribute more money.

 

I was lured and lulled

 

into the seductive and enticing doctrines of Joseph Prince,

 

even though I knew of an old adage,

 

“If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn’t.”

 

In my view, it would not be incorrect to say that

 

Joseph Prince’s many untruths or lies,

 

half-truths and distorted doctrines

 

were mixed with truths

 

and they are just too numerous to count.

 

And so, for 15-16 years,

 

I was on my merry-hunting trip

 

to a great life on earth,

 

almost forgetting about the life after.

 

Moreover, I was then still young, Leh!

 

But now I am nearer to 70-years-old.

“Ye know the truth,

 

and ye also know

 

that no lie is of the truth.””

 

Charles Spurgeon’s point is that

 

as long as there is a lie that is mixed in the truth,

 

the truth that is distorted with the lie

 

can no longer be truth.

 

Mixing lies into truths

 

is no different from adding a little poison

 

into a glass of water.

 

Just a drop of lies or poison

 

would contaminate the whole glass of water.

 

Once contaminated,

 

the entire glass of water would have to be disposed of

 

into the rubbish chute,

 

as it is no longer fit for human consumption.

 

Not even a single bit of the water

 

can be drunk without being poisoned.

 

In the same way,

 

just a little lie or error of heresy

 

is lethal enough to contaminate the whole doctrine,

 

even though it may contain many truths.

 

And because the whole doctrine

 

is now poisoned with lies or errors,

 

it can no longer be accepted as truth,

 

as whatever is being preached

 

has already been corrupted and distorted.

 

 

11. One day, Everything Changed When I was Struck with Panic Attacks

 

But one day, everything changed.

 

Suddenly, a trauma struck me out of the blue.

 

I experienced a series of very severe panic attacks

 

that lasted for a few months.

 

In the midst of my merry-going life,

 

God interrupted and completely disrupted my world.

 

It happened in my late 50s,

 

beginning with a sudden concern for my health.

 

That concern quickly grew into fear, then very quickly,

 

escalated into an overwhelming and irrational terror.

 

This extreme fear seemed to open the door

 

for the enemy to have a field day in my mind.

 

I lost control of my thoughts.

 

Day and night, I was relentlessly assaulted by accusations

 

– like fiery darts searing through my mind.

 

It felt like intense mental torture.

 

My regrets for my past misdeeds consumed me,

 

and guilt over my sins

 

played in my head like a non-stop tape recorder.

 

My body, too, began to suffer

 

– searing sensations coursed through me.

 

My skin felt like it was crawling,

 

and I experienced sharp, stabbing pain,

 

as if millions of needles were pricking me all at once.

 

Yet, the worst torment wasn’t physical

 

– it was the unbearable anguish of my soul.

 

The mental and emotional pain

 

was unlike anything I had ever experienced.

 

Unlike physical pain, for which one can take medication,

 

this kind of suffering had no earthly remedy.

 

Though I was still working at the time,

 

I could not sleep for days.

 

I walked around

 

and still went to work literally like a zombie.

 

Eventually, I sought help from a psychiatrist,

 

who prescribed sleeping and anxiety medication.

 

But even with the pills,

 

the tormenting thoughts did not cease.

 

Slowly but gradually with the help of God and His word,

 

the physical and mental torment lessened its grip on me.

 

Every day, after work, I would rush home,

 

go straight to my room, and weep and cry before God.

 

No one could understand what I was going through.

 

In desperation, I sought help

 

from a well-known Pastor from New Creation Church,

 

but he showed no interest in listening to me.

 

I tried again, hoping he would help,

 

but I could see that he was avoiding me.

 

He turned me away once more, saying he was busy.

 

I was in extreme distress and desperation

 

– mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

 

My body reflected my suffering.

 

I lost 7 to 10 kgs,

 

and my face bore the look of a man lost in anguish.

 

I cried out to God with all my heart.

 

I read aloud the scriptures in desperate search for truth,

 

and also, from the deliverance of my intense suffering.

 

Through deep confession, repentance, and obedience,

 

and committing to forsake worldly and material pursuits

 

and turning fully to Him

 

– I slowly began to experience the true grace of God.

 

This was in direct contradiction

 

to much of what I had been taught in my church.

 

I immersed myself in Scripture, seeking God desperately.

 

During those months of trial,

 

I kept wondering how this could happen to me.

 

I had been taught that such things

 

shouldn’t happen to believers.

 

But my ordeal lasted three long months.

 

I should clarify that I was not guilty of any grave sins

 

like adultery or murder.

 

Perhaps, my conscience was simply more sensitive than most.

 

Many nights, I could not sleep at all,

 

and I would cry out to God,

 

begging Him to let me sleep for even five minutes

 

– just to experience a moment of relief.

 

Despite it all, I never turned away from God.

 

No one – neither family nor friends – could help me.

 

I was utterly alone, confronting this trial,

 

clinging to God for dear life.

 

 

12. God Delivered Me from these Panic Attacks

 

Slowly, after about two months, I began to improve.

 

Sleep gradually returned with the aid of medication,

 

and my mind started to regain clarity.

 

In the final few weeks,

 

I weaned myself off the sleeping pills.

 

Then, on the very last day of my suffering,

 

something extraordinary happened.

 

As I sought God in prayer,

 

I suddenly felt completely forgiven.

 

I was overwhelmed

 

by the cleansing power of Christ’s blood.

 

A profound sense of holiness flooded my soul.

 

The torment that had gripped my body day and night,

 

was replaced with an indescribable divine peace.

 

A holy feeling came over me. 

 

My soul was quiet – still, and at rest.

 

I felt so, so cleaned

 

that I won’t want to be stained with sins anymore.

 

In that moment,

 

I wanted to remain in His presence for a long time.

 

 

13. Another Voice Spoke to Me

 

Then suddenly, I heard a small, still, monotone voice

 

speaking clearly in both my ears.

 

I have never heard such a voice before.

 

In the many years in the Pentecostal and Charismatic churches,

 

we always yearned to hear God’s voice.

 

Joseph Prince’s claim of his ability to hear God’s voice

 

enthralled me.

 

It was one of the principal factors

 

that ‘sucked me’ to New Creation Church,

 

and I believe all his doctrines

 

without first checking the Bible for myself.

 

Coming back to the voice I heard, it was an inner voice,

 

Yet, as distinct as someone speaking to me aloud.

 

Then, the thought came to me

 

that Joseph Prince could be hearing the same voice

 

as he frequently claimed that he heard God’s voice

 

clearly speaking to him,

 

and even held conversations with him. Wah Lau!

 

It spoke randomly and suddenly over the next few days,

 

sometimes giving me instructions, which I followed.

 

At first, I thought, wow, I can now hear the voice of God!

 

But then, I was struck with this realisation

 

– I suddenly felt convinced

 

that this was not the voice of God,

 

but a counterfeit.

 

I rejected it, and from that moment on,

 

the voice never returned.

 

It has been 12 years since that day.

 

Why has it turned out that way?

 

One moment, I felt the divine peace and cleansing power

 

of the blood of the Lamb.

 

The next moment, the enemy spoke.

 

Then reflecting on Matthew 16,

 

when Jesus asked His disciples,

 

“Who do you say that I am?”

 

and Peter answered,

 

“You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God,”

 

Jesus affirmed that this revelation came from the Father.

 

Yet, shortly after,

 

Peter rebuked Jesus for speaking of His coming suffering,

 

and Jesus replied,

 

“Get behind me, Satan!”

 

It’s striking how Peter could receive divine revelation one moment,

 

and be influenced by the enemy the next.

 

Looking back, I wondered if what I had experienced

 

is somewhat similar.

 

 

14. I came to the Tentative Conclusion that Joseph Prince is a False Teacher

 

After the supernatural deliverance and miracle,

 

I set myself to read the Bible

 

with a new hunger and earnestness

 

in search of the truth

 

to reassess all the teachings and doctrines

 

I learned from Joseph Prince.

 

Actually, when I was in the thick

 

of this very severe testing and trial

 

and the accompanying afflictions,

 

I didn’t really know I would come out of it.

 

But praise and thank God by His sheer mercy,

 

He brought me through and out

 

and set me on the path of righteousness,

 

and also preserve my job.

 

Otherwise, my whole world and probably family

 

will be ‘destroyed’.

 

I was once blind but now I see.

 

I read the entire Bible twice over.

 

I studied portions of the Bible and for some portions,

 

I studied over and over again.

 

I searched the Internet

 

to see what people say of Joseph Prince.

 

Then, I tentatively came to a conclusion

 

that Joseph Prince is a false teacher.

 

 

15. Joseph Prince Dishonoured His Parents

 

He has a ‘false name’ calling himself Joseph Prince,

 

dishonouring his parents

 

who gave him his original name

 

and brought him to this world,

 

thereby rebelliously breaking

 

one of the Ten Commandments

 

to honour his father and mother.

 

Joseph Prince must have thought calling himself Joseph

 

is a princely name

 

and will have favour with God and man.

 

But the eternal God identified Himself

 

as the God of Abraham, God of Issac and God of Jacob.

 

Exodus 3:15 states that God also said to Moses,

 

“say this to the people of Israel: “The LORD, the God of Abraham, the God of Issac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you” This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.

 

George Ong’s Comments:

 

Changing one’s name is one thing,

 

but changing one’s surname is quite another.

 

Such an act is clearly shaming his own father,

 

and Joseph Prince is also giving the impression

 

that he is ashamed of his own lineage and ethnicity

 

that God has brought him into.

 

 

16. How I Bumped into Rev George Ong’s Website & Read & Studied Through His Ten Volumes of Books, comprising 4,800 Pages 

 

For several years, I sincerely searched for the truth.

 

I began to doubt the teachings

 

of Joseph Prince and New Creation Church.

 

During this period, I read and studied the Bible twice,

 

researched extensively online,

 

and examined various perspectives

 

on Joseph Prince’s teachings.

 

Yet, I struggled to fully grasp the extent of his errors

 

and could not immediately accept

 

that he was profoundly wrong

 

– that he is a heretic promoting false doctrines.

 

But one day, all that changed

 

when a friend from Bethesda Bedok Tampines Church (BBTC)

 

sent me a link to Rev. George Ong’s website.

 

At the time, there were no videos available

 

on Rev George Ong’s website,

 

so I meticulously read

 

and studied all Ten Volumes of his books

 

– 4,800 pages – (then, no videos yet)

 

of his incredibly detailed, thorough, comprehensive

 

and forensic analysis.

 

Let me say again and I am not exaggerating

 

that I read through

 

and studied all Ten Volumes of his books

 

comprising 4,800 pages.

 

Rev George Ong’s Ten Volumes of books

 

was indeed an investigative and detective work,

 

fully supported by the whole counsel of God’s Word.

 

 

17. Joseph Prince Ministers in a Satanic Spirit

 

Somewhere along the way,

 

it was as if a light was switched on in my mind:

 

I realized that the same serpentine deceptive spirit

 

that twisted God’s words in the Garden of Eden

 

was at work through Joseph Prince.

 

Just as the serpent manipulated God’s commands

 

– adding, removing, distorting, and altering their meaning

 

to deceive Adam and Eve

 

– Joseph Prince was doing the same.

 

The serpent twisted God’s word to focus on man,

 

enticing man to be their own god,

 

deciding what is good and evil.

 

The story which was to be God’s sovereignty

 

was distorted and twisted to be about man’s sovereignty.

 

Satan is the master of half-truths,

 

and Joseph Prince operates in the same manner too.

 

Satan used God’s words to serve his own agenda,

 

and Joseph Prince does the same:

 

while claiming that he is preaching Jesus

 

with Jesus at the centre of his preaching;

 

but if one were to come to grips with his teaching,

 

it is about you.

 

After I came out of New Creation Church,

 

I did a check on YouTube

 

for the sermons Joseph Prince was selling.

 

It was not a surprise to me

 

that most of the sermons’ titles

 

are about you,

 

so as to entice you to pay to watch the whole sermons.

 

Joseph Prince’s mask came off for me.

 

Satan diminished God’s authority and elevated man,

 

and Joseph Prince followed suit.

 

While Scripture is God-centered,

 

Joseph Prince subtly shifts the focus toward man

 

– making God appear as a means to fulfill human desires.

 

A search for Joseph Prince’s sermons on YouTube

 

confirmed this pattern.

 

Although he loudly proclaims that Christ

 

is at the center of his teachings from the pulpit,

 

in reality, his messages revolve around man,

 

with God positioned as a tool

 

to help people achieve their personal goals.

 

He distorts the meaning and intent of God’s Word.

 

Satan’s focus was always on self-promotion,

 

self-gratification, and self-elevation

 

– and this is precisely what Joseph Prince promotes

 

through his preaching.

 

Satan contradicted God’s clear instructions in the Garden,

 

and Joseph Prince does the same

 

with key biblical doctrines.

 

For instance, Jesus explicitly stated,

 

“I did not come to abolish the Law.”

 

Yet, Joseph Prince preaches

 

that the Law no longer applies

 

to New Covenant believers.

 

False teachers manipulate Scripture

 

to appeal to human desires,

 

and this is Joseph Prince’s specialty.

 

Just as Satan added to and subtracted from God’s Word,

 

Joseph Prince twisted Scriptures for his own agenda.

 

That is why I came to a firm conclusion:

 

the same deceptive and Satanic spirit

 

that operated in Eden

 

is at work through Joseph Prince.

 

 

18. I Made the Decisive Decision to Leave Joseph Prince & New Creation Church

 

That was the turning point for me

 

– I was done with Joseph Prince, once and for all.

 

That same day, I took decisive action.

 

I discarded every cassette tape, CD,

 

and book related to Joseph Prince.

 

I also threw away books by E.W. Kenyon, Kenneth Hagin,

 

Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen, and others

 

– an entire cupboard full of them.

 

Joseph Prince is polished, cunning, and deceptive

 

– a slippery, slimy, manipulative figure

 

whose tactics are evident in his teachings.

 

 

19. Rev. George Ong’s Exhaustive & Systematic 4,800-page Analysis on his Website Left No Room for Doubt that Joseph Prince is a False Teacher

 

Many websites

 

have attempted to expose his false doctrines

 

by quoting his sermons

 

and countering them with Scripture,

 

but they often fall short

 

of fully convincing Joseph Prince’s followers

 

because they are taking potshots,

 

which are not quite effective or convincing.

 

However, Rev. George Ong’s exhaustive 4,800-page analysis

 

on his website left no room for doubt.

 

Rev George Ong systematically laid out

 

all of Joseph Prince’s heresies in one place,

 

making it impossible for him or his followers

 

to claim he was misunderstood or taken out of context.

 

The investigative and detective works of Rev George Ong

 

completely nailed Joseph Prince down,

 

as the Hokkien said, ‘No horse run’.

 

For example, Joseph Prince insists

 

he is not against sanctification,

 

and his followers sing the same tune

 

and believe his claim.

 

Yet, when one listens to his messages as a whole,

 

it becomes evident

 

that he is subtly teaching against sanctification

 

and his teaching is inherently lawless

 

– denying the role of God’s law in the believer’s heart

 

to work out our salvation (Phil 2:12-13)

 

– which is the process of sanctification.

 

 

 20. Two Night Visions I Received from the Lord Confirmed that Joseph Prince is Money-Minded & Has a Monstrous Spirit in Him

 

Not long after, God gave me the night vision.

 

As I was sleeping,

 

I saw a vivid, larger-than-life, clear 3D vision in bright colours.

 

In it, I saw Joseph Prince speaking with someone about money

 

– specifically, discussing investment matters.

 

Both of them appeared before me from the waist up,

 

fully dressed, engaged in conversation.

 

While watching them, and Joseph Prince in particular,

 

a word suddenly dropped into my mind

 

as if spoken directly to me.

 

It was clear and literal,

 

even in my sleeping position:

 

“He loves money.”

 

About 10 days later, God gave me another night vision

 

– clear, bright, and vivid, like a life-sized 3D image in full colour.

 

In this vision, I saw Joseph Prince dressed in grey,

 

speaking to a group of people who were seated.

 

Suddenly, in an instant,

 

Joseph Prince’s appearance changed

 

– he appeared as a half-body figure,

 

but his eyes had turned into monstrous green eyes.

 

Immediately, I understood

 

that whenever Joseph Prince preaches,

 

he does so with green monster eyes

 

– a sign that another spirit is working in and through him.

 

What do these two visions reveal?

 

As the Lord Jesus said,

 

“No man can serve two masters.

 

You cannot serve God and Mammon.” (Matt 6:24).

 

The two cannot be mixed

 

– it is impossible to serve both at the same time.

 

You either serve God with a pure heart and clean hands (Psalm 24:4),

 

free from even a hint of a money-driven mindset,

 

or you are serving Mammon in the name of God

 

– deceiving yourself into thinking you are serving God,

 

when, in reality, you are not.

 

It’s as simple and clear as that.

 

Many who listen to Joseph Prince’s teachings

 

– sometimes day and night

 

– are enticed by the material promises he preaches.

 

His messages are especially appealing

 

to materialistic Singaporeans,

 

keeping them trapped in the illusion

 

that their breakthrough is just around the corner.

 

But in reality, they are left waiting indefinitely

 

– ‘wait long, long.’

 

 

21. May I Loving Appeal & Warn those who are Under Joseph Prince’s Influence to Come Out of It Before it is Too Late

 

Finally, I have spoken my piece.

 

I leave it to you to seek God for yourself

 

and discern the truth.

 

Though this testimony is a rather long,

 

please understand that it reflects my lawless sojourn

 

in New Creation Church for a long 16-18 years.

 

It is also a testimony about how God once again

 

by His great might and mercy

 

delivered my heart from the Egypt of enchantment,

 

false gods and false teachings.

 

My desire is that my story would help many people

 

come out of the demonic bondage

 

of Joseph Prince and New Creation Church.

 

While attending New Creation Church,

 

I had numerous red flags in my spirit,

 

warning me to come out

 

of Joseph Prince’s heretical teachings,

 

but I brushed them aside.

 

Perhaps, the only way God could truly get my attention

 

and wake me up

 

was by allowing me to experience extreme panic attacks

 

that I had shared earlier.

 

Since leaving New Creation Church,

 

I have helped four others get out of similar situations

 

– though none so trying and severe as mine.

 

There is a real spiritual world out there.

 

Be on God’s side.

 

Align with the scriptures.

 

If you are on the wrong side

 

– under the influence of Joseph Prince’s

 

heretical and demonic teachings,

 

may I lovingly appeal to you and warn you

 

that you must get out before it is too late.”
