A New Creation Church Member wrote to me on 16 August 2022 that he will be leaving the Church soon – by Rev George Ong (Dated 18 August 2022)
(This article was also sent to Rev Dr Ngoei Foong Nghian, General Secretary, National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS) office, and for the attention of the Executive Committee Members.)
2 days ago, on 16 August 2022, last Tuesday, a young man, Gabriel Stephen from New Creation Church wrote to me:
“Dear Rev George, I grew up in New Creation Church since I was 13 and am now in the youth ministry.
I am 21 now and one of my adult friends sent me the link to your website in early July 2022.
From what I have read in your articles, I began to see that Joseph Prince isn’t teaching the true gospel that is taught by the Apostle Paul.
As you have put it, it is Pseudo-grace, not the true grace that is taught in the Bible.
Undoubtedly, I also realise that New Creation Church, as an independent and non-denominational church with hardly any concrete links or fellowship with other churches in Singapore, Joseph Prince and his Pseudo-grace doctrine is accountable to none.
I remember one incident when my allowance ran out and I didn’t tithe to the church, one of my leaders approached me and asked me why I didn’t tithe.
They are aware whether we tithe or not because we tithe via PayNow/digital.
To encourage me to continue tithing, the leader even quoted what one of the key New Creation Church Pastors said, “The tithe justifies that Jesus is alive.”
The leader then suggested that I could tithe in another way by buying one of Joseph Prince’s books, which I did and I bought Joseph Prince’s book, “Give Me This Mountain,” for $30.
I will be leaving New Creation Church soon but I’ll be losing a huge number of friends.
I also don’t know anyone in any other church and not sure where to plant myself in. Would greatly appreciate your advice.”
Blessings,
Gabriel Stephen
We thank God that more and more people are coming to their senses that Joseph Prince, who isn’t teaching the true gospel that the Apostle Paul preached, and isn’t teaching true grace but Pseudo-grace, is indeed a wolf in sheepskin.
I honour this young man, Gabriel Stephen, who has made the difficult decision to leave New Creation Church.
As a young man, friendship and having peers around him is of prime importance.
So, he is paying a high price by leaving New Creation Church as he has to leave all his friends behind. I really feel for him.
On top of that, he may be hounded by his friends in New Creation Church for this tough decision he has made, and peer-pressure may be applied on him to remain.
He may also be confronted by the Church Leadership for speaking against Joseph Prince and New Creation Church, publicly.
(By the way, this was what happened to Peter Tok, another Ex New Creation Church member, whose testimony is featured on this website, when church leaders called him up to warn and even threatened him with consequences when Peter Tok wrote against New Creation Church and produced videos against Joseph Prince and his heresies. But thank God Peter Tok didn’t crumble under such pressure (this was what Peter Tok shared with me.) Can you imagine, such empty threats to cause fear and scare people can come from so-called Christians in Joseph Prince’s New Creation Church that preaches grace.)
I salute Young Gabriel of 21, who has the courage that many older Pastors and leaders don’t – to testify and speak publicly against the Pseudo-grace teaching of Joseph Prince.
So, let’s pray for Gabriel that he will be able to withstand opposition against his decision to leave New Creation Church.
Let’s intercede for Gabriel that he will find a local church that he could fit in (and I will be helping him to find one), and develop new friends who will encourage him in his journey of experiencing the true grace of God, and put all the Pseudo-grace heresies of Joseph Prince that he had imbibed, right behind him.

Afternote:
Gabriel Stephen came to know about the heresies of Joseph Prince because his adult friend bothered to forward the link of my website to him.
May I encourage you to do the same – to forward my website, especially the current articles to, as many of your friends as possible, regardless of which church they are from.
Who knows? There could be another Gabriel Stephen who would be delivered from the heresies of Joseph Prince.
On another note, when Gabriel Stephen shared about his leader who checked on whether he is tithing to the church, this reminds me of what Andrew Tan, an Ex-New Creation Church member for 20 years had written as part of his testimony of why he came out of New Creation Church:
“Before leaders are appointed in NCC (New Creation Church), they will have their tithing record checked before being appointed. They will have to show that they are tithing regularly to the church.
Interestingly, Joseph Prince preaches grace and against law, and yet, he institutes such rigid ‘law’ to check people’s tithing record before they can be appointed to leadership. As far as I know, there is hardly any church that practices that.”
So is Joseph Prince a grace teacher or a law preacher?
Joseph Prince would have to make up his mind as his legalistic action is antithetical to his grace teachings.
Devising such legalistic means of checking a person’s tithing record is not only an invasion of a person’s privacy, but also a grave contradiction to Joseph Prince’s image and credibility as a grace teacher.
As a matter of fact, I cannot find anywhere in the Bible in which a person’s tithing record is scrutinised before one can be appointed to leadership.
The Ungracious Character of Joseph Prince who Preaches Grace is once again Exposed in a sermon – By Rev George Ong
(This article was also sent to Rev Dr Ngoei Foong Nghian, General Secretary, National Council of Churches of Singapore (NCCS) office, and for the attention of the Executive Committee Members.)
During a Sunday sermon, titled, “How to Walk in the Blessings of Abraham,” Joseph Prince said;
Please click here to listen to excerpts in the 20-second audio:
“I saw a lady shaking her head. Alright, don’t take offense, okay. But if you take offense, I have five words for you. Five words of grace: ‘I don’t give a rip.’
Okay anyway, moving right along. (Joseph Prince is laughing). You have to, you know, to have a big church like this. If you give a rip for what everybody thinks and all that, you will never be able to survive. Amen. I am under grace. New management system.”
For the life of me, how can a Super-grace teacher like Joseph Prince behave in such an ungracious manner to one who was attending his church that Sunday just because she disagreed with his teaching?
Unimaginable!
Joseph Prince said,
“I saw a lady shaking her head. Alright, don’t take offense, okay. But if you take offense, I have five words for you. Five words of grace: ‘I don’t give a rip.’”
How can these five words, “I don’t give a rip,” be words of grace as Joseph Prince has made out to be?
This is adding insult to injury! These words are more akin to words of ‘law’. So is Joseph Prince a grace teacher or a law preacher? – This is utterly confusing!
These five words, ‘I don’t give a rip,’ are obviously words of sarcasm in Joseph Prince’s blunt retort against the lady.
I have made another discovery (the first was shared in last week’s article) that this part of the audio (see the above excerpt) isn’t found in the audio that New Creation Church has put up on sale (the video form is not available for sale).
The one that I am in possession of is the original audio when it was first produced.
Just in case, you have purchased the audio of this sermon, “How to Walk in the Blessings of Abraham,” please note that it wasn’t me who had illegally inserted something foreign (the above excerpt) into this sermon, but it was New Creation Church and Joseph Prince who had censored it.
Why did they censor it?
Simple! – To hide and remove the evidence of Prince’s real character – that he is intolerant to criticisms and
wouldn’t hesitate to tick off and embarrass anyone who disagrees with him in front of the whole congregation – which I am now exposing for the world to see.
How can one who possesses such adversarial characteristics and ungracious behaviour even qualify to be a grace-teacher and be preaching grace in the first place?
Joseph Prince has always accused us of being law preachers. This is a false and slanderous accusation, as besides law, we preach grace too. As a matter of fact, we preach much more on grace (true grace) than law.
(Because we are correcting Joseph Prince’s only grace and ‘lawless’ preaching, we have to teach about the place of the law in the Christian doctrine, and hence, may come across to be preaching only law – and Prince is quick to capitalise on that and falsely accuse us of just preaching law and against grace. We aren’t preaching against the true grace of the Bible but against the Pseudo-grace doctrine of Joseph Prince.)
But let’s just assume that Prince’s categorisation of us as law preachers is right.
Even law preachers such as us, won’t even dare to do what Prince did on the pulpit – castigating and embarrassing a member of the congregation for disagreeing with him, publicly.
But what is ironic and unbelievable is that it was the Super-grace teacher, Joseph Prince who did it.
If a grace teacher like Joseph Prince doesn’t even practice what he preaches, letting the grace of God to be displayed in and through his life, the game is as good as over.
I want you to know that it is a massive and arduous job trying to uncover the real character of Joseph Prince by pouring over many of Joseph Prince’s previously recorded messages one by one like a busy detective.
But it is worth it all to expose the real Joseph Prince, the wolf in sheepskin for the world to see, so that those sheep who are warned could be protected from harm.
If you want another piece of evidence that New Creation Church and Joseph Prince have covered up Prince’s real character by censoring evidence, kindly read the article:

Afternote:
Surprisingly, Joseph Prince didn’t preach last Sunday on 14 August 2022, but Mark Ng, the Chinese Pastor, preached for him instead.
Why is a Chinese Pastor, who is in charge of the Mandarin and Hokkien congregation, preaching in the English services?
Yes, Mark Ng preaches at the English Worship services during every Chinese New Year season.
But why suddenly on 14 August 2022?
Is it because the heat is too much for Joseph Prince to bear regarding the many recent and potent YouTube videos that have been produced against him, including the one that rightfully accuses him of showing disrespect and dishonour to the Singapore National Pledge, that he has to stay off stage for a while, and someone, like Mark Ng, has to take his place to relieve the pressure?
Is it because having someone who is constantly peering over his shoulders and watching every word that he utters and could always find at least a doctrinal error in his Sunday sermons week after week, and publicising it to a larger audience, is too overwhelming for him to cope?
And after all, Joseph Prince isn’t preaching as frequently nowadays as he used to:
17 July: Lim Lian Neo
24 July: Lawrence Lim
31 July: Joseph Prince
7 August: Joseph Prince
14 August: Mark Ng
As I have viewed Mark Ng’s sermon on 14 August 2022, last Sunday, I have my own analysis as to why Joseph Prince didn’t preach that Sunday, and you too, can come to your own conclusion, if you were to view the same sermon.
If you have viewed Mark Ng’s preaching last Sunday, you would have noticed that much emotion was freely displayed. Whether that is genuine or deliberately exaggerated or artificially manufactured by using emotion to sway the crowd in order to shore up Joseph Prince’s dwindling and bruised image is left for you to judge.
Finally, whenever I make an allegation against Joseph Prince as a hypocrite or liar or double-talker, or for being ungracious and sarcastic, like in this case, it is always backed up with specific evidence of what he said and taught in his books and videos/audios.
But when Joseph Prince accused his critics (and me as I am one of his critics), for being jealous, bitter and angry, did he produce any evidence?
(Please refer to the relevant article by clicking here to view)
Zero evidence!
So what would you call a man who spews out accusations against his critics without any evidence?
A slanderer – pure and simple!
The Apostle Paul clearly teaches that slanderers will not enter the kingdom of God:
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NIV
9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
But the greater indictment is that Joseph Prince has committed the sin of slandering when he is preaching a sermon on the Holy pulpit.
For a preacher like Joseph Prince to abuse the Holy pulpit to slander others is certainly a grave and revolting act.
