“Somebody has been posting a few things about me,
you know that I have not rebuked the Pastor
in this nation for false teaching and false doctrine.
I refused to get involved.
I refused to even reply because it’s a waste of my time.
Absolute waste of my time.
O Pastor Yang is the leader of the Charismatic
and Pentecostal churches,
he should rebuke this Pastor, should correct.
I have done that personally on 2 or 3 occasions
with this brother, privately.
I’ve said what I have to say.
I’ve said my peace.
I’ve done what I can do.
And it’s up to him to respond.
That’s it. That’s my responsibility.
But I will not go into social media
and then slug it out and try to dig out mud and dirt.
That’s not my calling.
I don’t build my ministry by trying
to pull somebody else down. Amen.
May we give some slag to each other. Amen.”
In his indirect and public reply to me,
Rev Yang said:
“But I will not go into social media
and then slug it out and try to dig out mud and dirt.
That’s not my calling.
I don’t build my ministry by trying
to pull somebody else down. Amen.”
It seems that Rev Yang is clearly suggesting
and even falsely accusing that that person’s ministry
is just to pull somebody down and to dig up mud and dirt?
By Rev Yang’s suggestion and false accusation,
that that person’s ministry
is just to pull somebody down and to dig up mud and dirt,
then is he also pulling that person down
by his same comments:
“But I will not go into social media
and then slug it out and try to dig out mud and dirt.
That’s not my calling.
I don’t build my ministry by trying
to pull somebody else down. Amen.”
What Rev Yang didn’t address in his entire sermon
is why he is calling Joseph Prince a dear friend,
(I have viewed his whole sermon)
and the latest is why did he say Joseph Prince loves Jesus,
and why he is stopping me (George)
from contending against Joseph Prince, the heretic.
These issues are addressed by me
in Part 3 and Part 4 of this Article,
In order not to be falsely accused by Rev Yang,
that I am spreading fake news,
I have to produce a photograph
taken between him and Joseph Prince
from his own Facebook.
Let me remind Rev Yang
that he is the one who started it first.
Up to that point,
I have never made any negative remarks
about him and his ministry.
But it was Rev Yang, who first wrote to ask me
to stop contending against Joseph Prince and his heresies.
I was also shocked to see Rev Yang post a photograph
with Joseph Prince on his Facebook
– with his comments
that Joseph Prince is his dear friend
who loves Jesus, that’s for sure.
By the way, Rev Yang,
in your entire sermon on 13 July 2025, 2 days ago,
you haven’t even explained any of these 4 issues
– the real reason you had asked me to stop
contending against Joseph Prince,
and why do you call a false teacher a dear friend
and that he loves Jesus.
And last, can you come clean
and confirmed if you have received
any financial favour from Joseph Prince.
If you did, is it once, or twice, a few times, or many times?
Besides your church,
is there any personal favour done to you, personally,
by Joseph Prince?
And if so, did that colour your opinions about him.
You haven’t even given an answer to any of these 4 issues,
and now you turned around and bit that person.
Part 2: Why should Rev Yang Tuck Yoong be so worried after I had published an Article about a Senior and Veteran Pastor from Singapore who had received a financial gift from Joseph Prince

“Several years ago,
I was having breakfast with my wife,
with one of the national,
one of the quite prominent leaders in Singapore, Pastor.
Okay, I cannot mention his name.
So, we were having breakfast.
Then, this Pastor told me, Wah,
when he talked about Kong Hee,
Wah, a lot of bad comments, ah, about Kong Hee,
a lot of bad comments.
That’s several years ago, during those years.
Wah, this and that.
Then, when he talked about Joseph Prince,
he changed his tone completely around.
Why? Why?
Because I cannot remember;
it’s either of these 2 things.
Joseph Prince gave him a free trip somewhere,
or buy him a very expensive present.
That time, the (my) calling against Joseph Prince
wasn’t there yet.
But when I listened to it,
I feel a bit uncomfortable already, you see.
Now, I think back,
he (Joseph Prince) can do one thing to this leader,
how many leaders he would have done?”
Let me further explain and clarify what I said in the video.
I had a meeting with a senior figure,
who was known in the Singapore Church scene
several years ago.
When he began by talking about Kong Hee,
he was very perturbed with Kong Hee,
and spoke about his unhappiness, objections
and the wrong things that Kong Hee did.
I can understand where he was coming from,
as I, too, did not agree
and object to the actions of Kong Hee at that time.
(But, as you know,
thank God that Kong Hee has since repented,
and I was overjoyed that he did,
and his sermons and the way he carried out his ministry
is totally different from the way he had behaved
before he was in prison.)
But when this senior figure talked about Joseph Prince,
it was a complete change
from the way he talked about Kong Hee.
He had so many good and positive things
to say about Joseph Prince.
Then he began to tell me that Joseph Prince gave him
– it is definitely either an expensive gift
or Joseph Prince paid for his vacation abroad.
Can you see how easily one’s perspective
can be clouded about someone
when we have received a financial gift
from that same person?
But that’s not the end of the story.
(Note that what I am sharing here,
is also what I had shared
in a previous article on my website.)
After what I had shared this for the first time on my website,
Rev Yang Tuck Yoong, who read that Article,
was trying frantically to reach me.
He tried to get in touch with me a few times,
but I didn’t reply as I was caught up with some matters.
But later, when I called him back,
he said in a rather worried tone
– he hoped what I had shared,
about the senior and veteran Pastor,
who had received a financial gift from Joseph Prince,
I was not referring to him.
I told him that I wasn’t referring to him
but to another Pastor,
and I revealed the name of this Pastor to him,
but I had not revealed the name of this Pastor, publicly.
After the phone call, it then began to dawn on me,
and I began to think,
why should Rev Yang Tuck Yoong be so worried
that I was referring to him?
Then I realised….
Have you realise too… ?
Let me caution the Pastors of Singapore
and Heads of Christian Organisations in Singapore
to stop receiving any financial gifts from Joseph Prince.
If a Pastor has received a financial gift from Joseph Prince,
do you think this Pastor
would dare to speak against
the heresies of Joseph Prince anymore,
even though he is strongly against it?
Am I saying we shouldn’t give any financial gift to anyone,
or receive any financial gift from anyone?
Of course not.
Any Pastor,
regardless of whether he is Joseph Prince or George Ong,
has the prerogative to give anything he wants
to whoever he wishes.
Likewise,
any Pastor is free to receive any financial gift from anyone.
But when it comes to Joseph Prince, the heretic,
we ought to be very cautious about it.
If you have received a gift or financial support
from Joseph Prince, the heretic,
you are unlikely to speak out against his heresies,
even though you may be against him
because you are now beholden to him.
And you may even treat him as a dear friend,
and even say he loves Jesus.
I shudder to think how many Pastors,
churches and Christian organisations in Singapore
have received or are still receiving financially
from Joseph Prince?
If they have been receiving financially from Joseph Prince,
is that the reason
why these Pastors of churches and heads of organisations
are hesitant to speak up
against Joseph Prince’s false teachings?
What is worse is,
they may even be tacitly supporting Joseph Prince
by opposing those who contend against his heretical teachings
and, one, which I have already mentioned his name,
by asking me to stop contending against Joseph Prince.

“Last week, I spoke about the errors of Joseph Prince.
And I’m going to say it again.
In my view, he is promoting a god of his own making,
hence leading many Christians into idolatry.
Or, he deliberately promotes a god whom he says
doesn’t punish people or believers
for their sins in the New Covenant.
I submit to you
that he is promoting a god of his own making.
Let me just draw quickly the sermon to a conclusion.
Number one, we need to stand firm
against the problem of idolatry and apostasy.
Why?
Because idolatry will lead us into hell.
Idolatry and apostasy.
I don’t have time to further unpack
the heretical teachings of Joseph Prince.
I want to strongly encourage you;
there’s a man, okay, he’s a godly man,
who have done a detailed study
on the issues and problems
that are being churned out by Joseph Prince.
His name is George Ong. Rev George Ong.
He’s a friend of mine.
And I want to encourage you,
look at the website.
Take a look, you know,
you’ll get a clear rebuttal of the heresies.”
George Ong’s comments:
When Bishop Kuan Kim Seng
said that Joseph Prince
is leading many Christians into idolatry,
and idolatry will lead one to hell,
and that his teachings are heretical,
how can Rev Yang Tuck Yoong,
who is a Denominational Head and Senior Pastor

and asked me to stop contending

the Senior Pastor of Good Gifts City Church said:

by this feel-good lie of prosperity teaching,
it is so far removed from the true Gospel of Jesus Christ,
it is a damnable heresy
because it leads people not to value God for who He is,
but it leads people

to lead people to idolatry.”

that the Prosperity Gospel of Joseph Prince,
“… is so far removed
from the true Gospel of Jesus Christ,
it is a damnable heresy…
and leads people to idolatry.”

the Senior Pastor of the Bible Church said:

He’s none other than Joseph Prince
from New Creation Church.
But I want to warn you, okay
that this is a very heretical teaching
that we ought to be mindful and careful about.”

Rev Beh Soo Yeong,
The Senior Pastor of the Bible Church, wrote:
“As a pastor, I am indebted to Rev George Ong
for his persistent ministry
to expose many of these teachings
propounded by Joseph Prince.
Because of his diligent study and faithfulness
to God’s call,
I am made aware
of some of these heretical and problematic teachings,
which in turn helped me
to warn my own flock about them.”
Retired Presbyterian Minister of the Presbyterian Church,
Singapore, said:

“So, this shift has led to dangerous tolerance of false teachings
with many believers quick to conform or to condemn those
who challenge the popular but not biblical truths.
So, unfortunately less discerning Christians
are quick to condemn people like very few of them,
Rev George Ong who tries to question the false teachings
Joseph Prince is leading the churches through.
So, our Church is under attack
and we are hosting our attackers from our own backyard.
I think I like to repeat that one:
Our Church is under attack

So, the question can be said that
do we disagree with the theology for Joseph Prince?
And what I must say is that, of course,
we do and we can or we should
as what Rev George Ong is doing
to warn and to protect the most people
from destructive beliefs and behaviors.
If this is not obvious that Joseph Prince’s false teachings
are radically distorted
or have distorted the orthodox Christianity
in so many significant ways which then
what Joseph Prince propose must be regarded
as altogether different gospel.”
George Ong’s comments:
When Rev Tan Cheng Huat said that Joseph Prince
is preaching an altogether different gospel,
how can Rev Yang Tuck Yoong,
who is a Denominational Head and Senior Pastor
say that Joseph Prince
is his dear friend who loves Jesus,

against Joseph Prince, the heretic?
Elder David Ng, from the True Way Presbyterian Church,
Singapore, said:

“I hope that from what we’ve talked about at length so far,
we can agree that Joseph Prince’s teachings are heresies.
And people who spout heresies are false prophets.
And so, by the definition from the Bible here
in bringing heresies,
Joseph Prince is clearly a false prophet.”

Joseph Prince is clearly a false prophet,
how can Rev Yang Tuck Yoong,
who is a Denominational Head and Senior Pastor
say that Joseph Prince
is his dear friend who loves Jesus,
and asked me to stop contending
against Joseph Prince, the heretic?
Bishop Ho Chee Sin
Former Bishop of the Methodist Church, Singapore
wrote:
“Heresy is a dangerous thing
that can lead people to the lake of fire.
The threat and influence
of the Pseudo-grace teachings by Joseph Prince
who anchors the biggest church in Singapore,
is not something which is academic,
but it has already permeated many of the churches
in Singapore and around the world.
So, the task of preventing heresies
from seeping into the church
must be taken seriously
by the pastors and elders of churches.
We can do something concrete
by publicly speaking up
against the heresies of Joseph Prince.
I thank God that Rev George Ong
is painstakingly sticking out his neck
by highlighting to the church
about the threat
of such deadly teachings by Joseph Prince.
It is a tough and dangerous calling
that few would be willing to undertake.”
George Ong’s comments:
When Bishop He Chee Sin
said that the heresies of Joseph Prince
can lead one to the lake of fire
and that Pastors ought to speak up against such heresies,
how can Rev Yang Tuck Yoong,
who is a Denominational Head and Senior Pastor
