“Now, if any believer wants to see the life
that they ought to live,
or the example of a believer,
who received the gift of righteousness,
not because of his works, it will be Abraham. Alright?
No point looking at David
because David was under the law.
No point looking at the people that were under the law.
The example that God Himself gives us is,
He even calls Abraham our father. Our father.”
Joseph Prince said that David was under law.
No, David was under both grace and law.
He was saved by grace but he had to obey the law.

The Bible clearly says it’s not through the law.
And Abraham did not get blessed because of law keeping;
you know why?
Very simple reason.
This is so profound, so simple, you’d be shocked.
The Law, the Ten Commandments
has not yet existed during Abraham’s time.
Abraham lived 400 over years
before the Ten Commandments was given on Mount Sinai
and Moses went up there to take it.
That was about 400 over years, people,
400 over years before, was the story of Abraham.
And God called Abraham ‘My friend’.
He’s a friend of God,
and yet he doesn’t know the Ten Commandments.
But did he walk in holiness? Yes.
Was he close with God? Oh Yes!
But it was not through law keeping.”
Joseph Prince said that Abraham was not under law
and did not have the Ten Commandments to obey
because the law was given only 400 years later after Abraham.
No, Abraham was under both grace and law.
He was saved by grace, but he had to obey the law.

“By the way, these two illustrations
are very poor argument for the Ten Commandments.
Another one is lying.
Because Rahab to send the two spies away, you know
what she told the people that came?
We heard some men came to your brothel.
Oh, they were here last night.
They left already.
Actually, they are upstairs, hiding.
Hiding in the, you know, the kimchi pot.
In those days, they put it on top.
I don’t know what they were fermenting up there.
But obviously, the two spies went into the pot
and she covered it with flax.
Okay?
And when the men came, she told them,
Oh, you better catch them.
I think they’re not too far away.
They went by the mountain way.
Go, go catch them.
She lied to save them.
So, this illustration is not a very good argument
for the Ten Commandments.”
Joseph Prince seemed to be saying that Rahab
who saved the spies by lying
is putting the Ten Commandments in certain doubt.
If that is so,
why is he going against lying
and stating strongly that lying is sinful.

“Have you met Christians like this?
Everything is is weak, weak.
It’s like, everything is sinful.
Now I’m not talking about adultery is clear, sinful.
Lying is sinful.
Okay? Amen?
There’s no way to, to, to, you know,
think that all these things are okay.
No.
These are things that is moral, and clear.”
By stating that lying is sinful and immoral,
simply means he is against lying
and supporting the Ten Commandments.
Furthermore, Joseph Prince states that he hates lying
and he cannot tolerate people who tell lies.”

I really cannot tolerate people that tell lies.”
Hey Joe, not only are you getting yourself confused,
but you are also getting all of us confused.
One moment,
Joseph Prince said that the lying of Rahab is somewhat
a poor argument for the Ten Commandments.
The next moment,
he became an advocate for the Ten Commandments
by stating strongly that lying is sinful and immoral.
Joseph Prince further supported the Ten Commandments
by stating that he hates lying
and that he cannot tolerate those who tell lies.
Hey Joe, what in the world is happening to you?
Furthermore, there is nothing worse
than for Joseph Prince who actually lied,
and instead of admitting that he had lied,
goes around telling the world that he didn’t lie
because he hates lying
and that he cannot tolerate people who tell lies.
For Joseph Prince, who was caught lying
more than once, and in fact, many times
which I have proven on this website,
and more recently, in his report of attendance figures,
and for saying that almost 10 out of 10 of people
who left New Creation Church
was because they had been corrected,
and for him to dare to say that he hates lying,
and that he cannot tolerate people who tell lies,
is nothing but blatant and shameless hypocrisy.
He is effectively saying
that he hates that which he himself did – lying,
and that he cannot tolerate himself
for doing the same thing – lying.
Just imagine how low a man (Joseph Prince) can go!
Part 3: Joseph Prince lied that he didn’t defend himself against his critics

“God says, don’t defend yourself
even when you are under attack. Amen?
When someone says something about you,
don’t, don’t, don’t defend.
Because if you defend yourself, that’s it.
You have taken up your own case.
You trust in your own efforts.
Then God takes His hand off.
But when God defends you,
Lord, I’m not going to say anything.
I’m not going to put this person’s record straight
or whatever.
I can argue. And how I can.
But I will not.
I’ll trust you as my defense.
Then God puts His hand on your behalf.
I’m telling you, when God defends you, you are defended,
Bro, Amen. Hallelujah.”
In a Sunday sermon, Joseph Prince said:

People slander very easily. They insult.
They post, alright, their comments,
these are also words…
The brothers (brothers of Joseph) knew it.
They were jealous of him (Joseph, son of Jacob).
And I tell you this,
you can be brothers
but you are always jealous of the one
who believes strongly that he receives by grace,
if you don’t watch your heart.
Why not join that brother?
Why not join that sister
and receive everything by grace.
Bro, join, join us, don’t criticise.
You know what you criticise or not (mocking action).
You want to have a long happy life (mocking laughter)?
Today, we don’t criticise like this,
we criticise like this (typing action) (mocking laughter).
Watching via audio,
I’m using my typing fingers (sarcasm).”
One moment,
Joseph Prince said we shouldn’t defend oneself
when under attack.
The next moment,
not only did he defend himself against his critics,
but he launched an attack against them
by accusing them of slandering and being jealous,
and by mocking them
to the gleeful laughter of his audience.
