Let me address Point No 8 that Bishop Philip Lim wrote:
8. The Council also finds that the ‘Statement of Faith’ of New Creation Church, posted on its website, to be compliant with the Basis of Association of NCCS, of which the church is a member.
Why do Bishop Philip Lim, Archbishop Titus Chung and NCCS
only highlight the ‘Statement of Faith’
of New Creation Church, posted on its website,
when they are well aware
what we have surfaced are the evidence
that Joseph Prince is preaching heresies
by what he said in his sermons
and by what he wrote in his books
– and these are found in abundance on my website.
To make matters worse,
Joseph Prince had lied again about a Statement of Faith
on New Creation Church’s website, which states:
“We do not subscribe to what has been labelled
the “prosperity gospel”…
Joseph Prince had lied that he did not subscribe
to the Prosperity Gospel
in the Statement of Faith
when he categorically preached it in Isaiah 47:18.
In a sermon on 4 Jan 2026, yesterday,
Joseph Prince said:

He always leads you into ways of profit.
I’m the Lord your God who teaches you to profit (Isa 48:17).”
In another sermon, Joseph Prince said:

“But when God leads you, when He speaks to you,
I’m the Lord thy God who teaches you to profit.
I am quoting the Bible now.
I am the Lord your God who teach you to profit
and leads you by the way you should go (Isaiah 47:18).”
Joseph Prince teaches the Prosperity Gospel about profit
by quoting from Isaiah 48:17 NKJV.
But he ‘takes away’ from God’s word
by ‘hiding’ Isaiah 48:18 from you:
Isaiah 48:17-18 NKJV
17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,
The Holy One of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,
Who teaches you to profit,
Who leads you by the way you should go.
18 Oh, that you had heeded My commandments!
Then your peace would have been like a river,
And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
By doing that,
Joseph Prince wants to give the (false) impression
that the blessings of prosperity or wealth
under the Old Covenant have no conditions.
But if one were to read Isaiah 48:17 and Isaiah 48:18 together,
this is not the case.
It is not just in the case of Isaiah 48:17-18,
but in many passages,
the blessings of prosperity and wealth
is premised and conditioned upon whether
the Old Covenant people
would obey God’s commandments.
This is not the first time
Joseph Prince ‘takes away’ from God’s word
by ‘hiding’ them from you.
He has done that plenty of times
as proven in the many articles on this website.
And to ‘take away’ God’s word repeatedly and recalcitrantly,
would mean that Joseph Prince
has come under a curse:
Revelation 22:19 NIV
19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
Joseph Prince said:
“I’m the Lord thy God who teaches you to profit.
I am quoting the Bible now.
I am the Lord your God who teach you to profit (Isa 48:17 NKJV).”
George Ong said:
9 “But those who desire to be rich
fall into temptation, into a snare,
into many senseless and harmful desires
that plunge people into ruin and destruction (1 Tim 6:9 ESV).”
I am also quoting the Bible now.
While Joseph Prince quoted from the Old Testament
and tried to support his ‘Profit’ or Prosperity Gospel doctrine
from the Old Covenant,
which is forbidden by his own Grace doctrine,
George Ong quoted from the New Testament
to warn New Covenant believers
about the dangers of riches.
While Joseph Prince quoted from an Old Testament passage
that is under law,
George Ong quoted from a New Testament passage
that is under grace.
Get my point?
Joseph Prince is always quoting 1 Timothy 6:10
to defend his Prosperity Gospel doctrine
that it is not money
but the love of it that is the root of all evil:
1 Timothy 6:10 NIV
“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”
But Joseph Prince
is also conveniently silent
about 1 Timothy 6:9:
1 Timothy 6:9 NIV
9 “Those who want to get rich
fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people
into ruin and destruction.”
1 Timothy 6:9 ESV
9 “But those who desire to be rich
fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people
into ruin and destruction.”
While it is true that the love of money
is the root of all evil (1 Tim 6:10),
that is only one half of the truth.
Joseph Prince has hidden the other half of the truth
in 1 Timothy 6:9 from you.
Here in 1 Timothy 6:9,
Paul isn’t talking about the love of money yet
as he does in 1 Timothy 6:10.
He is making the point
that just merely the desire to get rich in 1 Timothy 6:9,
could be the start of trouble:
“Those who want to get rich
fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people
into ruin and destruction” (1 Tim 6:9 NIV).
Besides the NKJV that Joseph Prince uses:

17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,
The Holy One of Israel:
“I am the Lord your God,
Who teaches you to profit,
Who leads you by the way you should go.

many other translations have shown
that Isaiah 48:17 may or may not be talking about profit
in terms of money or wealth per se:

17 with this message:
People of Israel,
I am the holy Lord God,
the one who rescues you.
For your own good,
I teach you, and I lead you
along the right path.
18 How I wish that you
had obeyed my commands!
Your success and good fortune
would then have overflowed
like a flooding river.
Isaiah 48:17-18 CJB
17 This is what the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says:
I am the Lord your God,
who teaches you for your benefit,
who leads you in the way you should go.
18 If only you had paid attention to my commands.
Then your peace would have been like a river,

who leads you in the way you should go.

‘Maybe it’s not God’s will for you to be healed.’
No, don’t give up, Amen.
Like you say that,
‘Well, God has healed me 50%, you know,’
don’t give up.
Because why?
We know our God.
He wants us well, Amen.
Maybe God’s will for me is that I carry this pain
the rest of my life and all that.
No, no, He wants you well
from the top of your head to the soles of your feet.”
In a teaching session, Derek Prince said:

that there are many wonderful Christians,
sometimes, perhaps, the most consecrated
and dedicated and faithful,
who don’t get healed.
There’s one scripture that’s helped me tremendously:
Deuteronomy 29:29:
The secret things belong to the LORD our God,
but those things which are revealed belong to us
and to our children forever,
that we may do all the words of this law.
So, there are two kinds of things:
there are secret things, things that are revealed.
Now, as a teacher of the scripture,
it’s not my job to pry into the secret things.
My job is to teach the things that are revealed.
But there are secret things.
Why some people are not healed.
God doesn’t choose to let us know.
We just have to rest in His sovereignty.
Would you agree?
That God has never abdicated.
Do you know what ‘sovereignty’ means?
It means that God does
what He wants,
when He wants,
the way He wants
and He asks nobody’s permission.
And if you don’t see God that way,
your Christianity is going to be very incomplete.”
The irony is that
while Joseph Prince preaches so much about rest
and that believers must rest in God,
he himself is not at rest,
especially when believers aren’t healed.
What Joseph Prince needs to learn,
like what Derek Prince said,
is to rest in God’s sovereignty
even though believers aren’t healed.

“I think one of the truths that’s really seriously neglected
in the contemporary church
is the truth of God’s sovereignty.
I think in the charismatic movement,
people have largely focused
on what they can get from God,
what God can do for them.
And sometimes it’s almost degenerated to the place
where God is treated like an automatic vending machine.
And if you get the right coin and put it in the right slot,
you’ll get the right kind of soft drink.
Now, I just want to tell you
God is not an automatic vending machine.
And that is a very incorrect picture of God.
What do I mean by God’s sovereignty?
This is how I define it.
To say that God is sovereign
means He does what He wants,
when He wants, the way He wants,
and asks no one’s permission.
And I suggest to you that if you ever begin
to infringe on God’s sovereignty,
you’ll run into trouble
because there’s one thing
that God jealously guards is His sovereignty,
His right to do what He wants,
when He wants, the way He wants,
without getting permission from anybody.”
By not accepting that God can do anything He wants,
including not healing believers,
Joseph Prince by insisting that God must heal in every case
is openly rebelling against His sovereignty.
Any preacher who rebels against God
cannot be a true teacher of God’s word,
but a wolf in sheepskin.
