Why do Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS
only highlight the ‘Statement of Faith’
of New Creation Church, posted on its website,
when they are well aware
what we have surfaced are the evidence
that Joseph Prince is preaching heresies
by what he said in his sermons
and by what he wrote in his books
– and these are found in abundance on my website.
NCCS’s response
reminds me of how AW Tozer defined false teachings.
In ‘The Purpose of Man,’ AW Tozer wrote:
“A heretic is not a man who denies all the truth;
he is just a very fastidious man
who picks out what he likes
while rejecting what he does not like.
… Heresy is the selecting and rejecting aspects of truth…
… Heresy is the selecting and rejecting aspects of truth…
Just like heresies
is about the selecting and rejecting aspects of truth,
as described by AW Tozer,
in the same way, Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS
are also involved in selecting truths they wish to highlight,
about parts of Joseph Prince’s teachings,
while rejecting or hiding truths
about the other parts of Joseph Prince’s teachings,
that they don’t wish to highlight.
Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS,
by rejecting or hiding the more abundant evidence
on my website about Joseph Prince’s heresies
that they don’t want others to know,
is, in fact, amounting to and engaging in
not just half-truth deception
but more shockingly,
the sinful act of deliberate deception.
Let me quote an example to illustrate the seriousness of it.
Let’s say a man who states in a promissory note, publicly,
that he does not hammer people or use vulgar words.
But the truth is he hammered people and used vulgar words,
and there were many witnesses to such gross acts of this man,
including his own parents.
Does it help the parents to plead on the basis
of their son’s promissory note stated publicly,
that he doesn’t hammer people or use vulgar words,
even though they are well aware
that their son did hammer people and used vulgar words.
In fact, if the parents just plead on the innocence of their son
based on the promissory note
that their son did not hammer people or speak vulgar words,
even though they are well aware that their son
hammered people and spoke vulgar words,
the integrity of the parents
would be doomed and damned.
This is exactly what Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS
do to Joseph Prince’s heresies.
By just highlighting the half-truth
about New Creation Church’s Statement of Faith
to exonerate Joseph Prince,
when they are also well aware of the other half of the truth
that he is preaching heresies
in his sermons and in his books,
that are featured on my website
is to engage in the sinful act of deliberate deception.
Period.
Can you imagine the highest Christian Leadership of Singapore,
Bishop Philip Lim, the President of NCCS and NCCS
are engaging in deliberate and sinful deception?
Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS cannot claim innocence
as every one of my articles about Joseph Prince’s heresies
have been copied to them since 2021 for the past 5 years.
So even though they are well aware of Joseph Prince’s heresies
that are delivered through his sermons and his books,
they pretend that they aren’t aware,
but chose to focus on another medium,
the Statement of Faith on NCC’s website
to exonerate Joseph Prince.
This is plain dishonesty and blatant deception,
pure and simple.
Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS are of the view
that the ‘Statement of Faith’ of New Creation Church,
posted on its website, to be compliant
with the Basis of Association of NCCS,
of which the church is a member:

Are they sure about this?
Let me point out one doctrine
as stated in the Statement of Faith
on New Creation Church’s website
that went against Scripture and Historic Faith.
NCC Statement of Faith:
The Bible also tells us, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). Therefore, it is essential that when someone becomes a believer in Jesus Christ, they acknowledge their sins, recognise their need for a Saviour, and make a personal decision to receive His complete forgiveness for all their sins.
Joseph Prince is so slimy
that the way the above statement is crafted
is calculated to deceive.
It gives the impression that this statement
is related to the forgiveness of sins for believers,
when it is actually a prayer of salvation,
or prayer to receive Christ as Saviour
for unbelievers before they become believers.
Such a teaching that 1 John 1:9 is for unbelievers
as a prayer to receive Christ to become believers
is never taught in Historic Faith.
Historic Faith teaches that 1 John 1:9
is for believers to confess their sins
so that their fellowship with God is restored.
So, Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS
have obviously not done their homework thoroughly,
and is slipshod about their investigation,
as this particular NCC Statement of Faith
does not square with Historic Faith.
If Joseph Prince, Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS
insist that this Statement of Faith
is referring to believers confessing their sins,
then Joseph Prince would have contradicted his own teaching
which everybody,
including Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS would know
that 1 John 1:9 does not refer to believers but unbelievers.
In ‘Destined To Reign’, Joseph Prince wrote:
“People have taken this verse and built a whole doctrine around it when actually, chapter 1 of 1 John was written to the Gnostics, who were unbelievers. John was saying to these unbelievers that if they confessed their sins, God would be faithful and just to cleanse them from all unrighteousness.”
In ‘Unmerited Favor’, Joseph Prince wrote:
“With this context in mind, it becomes clear that 1 John 1:9 was not written to believers. The verse is a reference to the prayer that a sinner prays to accept Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. You may know this as the ‘prayer of salvation’ or ‘the sinner’s prayer.’”
So, I have proven that this NCC’s Statement of Faith
cannot refer to believers confessing their sins to God
as Joseph Prince has clearly and categorically stated
in his books
that 1 John 1:9 was written to unbelievers and not believers.
Yet, the way this Statement of Faith on NCC’s website
is crafted is so deceptive
that for the uninitiated, they would think
that this refers to Christians confessing their sins,
and this is what Joseph Prince wants them to think.
Friends, this is the work of a genius and master deceiver
– Joseph Prince.
What’s worse is Joseph Prince has also lied
about another Statement of Faith on NCC’s website:
“We do not subscribe to what has been labelled the “prosperity gospel”, and neither do we teach that all believers will be very wealthy.”
First, Joseph Prince lied that he does not subscribe
to the “Prosperity Gospel”
when he categorically preaches that the gospel
will make you rich.

“How else do you explain things like
when Jesus said
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me (Lk 4:18a),”
for what,
to make the rich poor?
No.
He (Jesus) says to proclaim the good news to the poor (Lk 4:18a).
What is good news to the poor?
That you remain poor.
I don’t think they will say that is good news.
It’s to enrich them.”
So Joseph Prince clearly teaches that Jesus said
the Gospel to the poor is to enrich them,
or to make them rich.
This is putting words into Jesus’ mouth,
as Jesus has never taught the kind of Prosperity Gospel
– that the gospel is to make the poor rich.
What Jesus was more interested
is your spiritual wealth and not your physical wealth
as illustrated in the Church of Smyrna:
Revelation 2:9a NIV
9 I know your afflictions and your poverty
– yet you are rich!
Jesus was well aware that they were living in poverty,
yet, Jesus never told them they had to get out of it
because they were cursed
– a doctrine that Joseph Prince teaches.
Jesus was not as concerned
whether they were materially rich or poor,
but He was utterly concerned
whether they were spiritually rich,
when Jesus affirmed them:
“– yet you are rich!” (Rev 2:9a)
Jesus didn’t promise the New Covenant Church of Smyrna
that He would deliver them from poverty to prosperity,
or He has come to enrich them.
Why?
Because the Prosperity Gospel doctrine of Joseph Prince
that the poor will become rich,
and that every New Covenant believer must be very rich
as Abraham was,
was never in the mind of Jesus.
Can you now see that Joseph Prince
is not preaching the real Jesus;
he is preaching his own version of Jesus
– the counterfeit Jesus!
The truth is, when we follow Jesus,
it may make us poorer, materially, not richer:
Mark 10:31 NIV
Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
Luke 12:33 NIV
Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.
Jesus, in Mark 10:31 and Luke 12:33,
teaches that we are to give up
our material riches for spiritual riches:
Mark 10:31 NIV
… “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven…
Luke 12:33 NIV
Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail…
But Joseph Prince falsely teaches
that Jesus came to make the poor materially rich.
Second, Joseph Prince lied about this Statement of Faith
on NCC’s website:
“We do not subscribe to what has been labelled the “prosperity gospel”, and neither do we teach that all believers will be very wealthy.”
Here’s the first evidence
that Joseph Prince lied in his Statement of Faith
that he didn’t teach that all believers will be very wealthy
or very rich.

It says if you are Christ’s,
are you Christ?
Do you belong to Christ?
Then you are Abraham’s seed.
And all the promises that God gave Abraham to his seed
is yours.
You have the blessing of Abraham on you.
How many want the blessing of Abraham on your life?
And the Bible says also,
and this might offend a few people.
Right, but it is in the Bible.
I don’t know how not to offend when I read the Bible.
You know some people who don’t believe, right,
Christians ought to focus, you know their lives
on like trusting God for blessings and all that,
but the Bible says Abraham was very rich in cattle,
in silver, in gold.
You know and the reason it says very rich,
not just rich but very rich,
and it mentioned cattle, silver and gold.
So that we all will know that it’s physical.
So, some people would not like that right
– that the fact that Abraham was very rich in cattle, silver.
And they would not want us to say that,
but I feel that I’d be robbing you if I don’t share with you
every part of his blessings.
It’s not just spiritual.
It is all these areas as well.
“And today, we owned the blessing of Abraham.
The Bible says, ‘if you are Christ’s, (you belong to Christ),
then are you Abraham’s seed,
and heirs according to the promise.’” (Gal 3:29)
Joseph Prince teaches that since New Covenant believers
are Abraham’s seed or spiritual children,
they have inherited not just the spiritual blessings of salvation,
but also the financial blessings or material riches of Abraham
when he said:
“… but the Bible says Abraham was very rich…
You know and the reason it says very rich,
not just rich but very rich…
… the fact that Abraham was very rich…
… And today, we owned the blessing of Abraham.”
Four times in the video,
Joseph Prince said that Abraham was very rich
and then he concluded that we,
as New Covenant believers,
will be very rich,
because we owned the blessing of Abraham
– that he was very rich.
Here’s the second evidence
that Joseph Prince lied in his Statement of Faith
that he didn’t teach that all believers will be very wealthy
or very rich.

“But we read in Romans 4:13-14 just now, earlier, that this was the fulfilment of being the heir of the world – which is not just to Abraham but to his seed. Hello, seed of Abraham, this is your promise. God did not just make Abraham rich; He made Abraham very rich. Very rich is your portion.”
In this audio,
Joseph Prince clearly said
that because believers are the seed of Abraham,
this is our promise.
What promise?
The promise that believers can be very wealthy or very rich
because Abraham was very wealthy or very rich.
So, I have proven that Joseph Prince has lied in these 2 aspects
as stated in NCC Statement of Faith:
“We do not subscribe to what has been labelled the “prosperity gospel”, and neither do we teach that all believers will be very wealthy.”
There is every likelihood that Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS
are aware of what I have pointed out.
If so, they are sinfully participating in the lie of Joseph Prince
to deceive.
Even if they aren’t aware,
it shows how sloppy and nonchalant they are
towards analysing Joseph Prince’s Statement of Faith.
If that is so,
can you ever trust the public statements issued by them?
Furthermore, Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS,
are you aware that Joseph Prince is a serial liar
when he lied that his birthday falls on the same day
as Israel’s Independence Day?

Even if you are unaware but now that you are aware,
that Joseph Prince is a serial liar
when he lied that his birthday falls on the same day
as Israel’s Independence Day,
why do you say Joseph Prince, who is a serial liar
is a Christian, and presumably not a heretic?
Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS,
are you aware that Joseph Prince is a serial liar
when he lied that Leah was a slave woman?

that Joseph Prince is a serial liar

is a Christian, and presumably not a heretic?
Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS,
are you aware that Joseph Prince is a serial liar,
when he lied that almost 10 out of 10 Ex NCC members
left the church because they had been corrected.

they have been corrected and they didn’t like it.
Corrected, instead of humbling, receiving that wisdom,
so that they can be better and profit from that,
they choose to leave and they speak bad.

when they bad-mouthed the church;

… Have you been corrected for some reason
– financial issue, sexual issue, whatever issues, Amen.
Thank you, Lord.”
Even if you are unaware but now that you are aware,
that Joseph Prince is a serial liar
who lied that almost 10 out of 10 Ex NCC
left the church because they had been corrected,
why do you say Joseph Prince, who is a serial liar
is a Christian, and presumably not a heretic?
Mind you, these are just 3 of the many lies
that Joseph Prince told
that I had already featured on my website.
What is unthinkable is that Bishop Philip Lim,
the President of NCCS,
and the committee members of NCCS
deliberately refused to face up to these facts,
and have the shamelessness
to pretend they are unaware that Joseph Prince is a serial liar.
Part 2: Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS, who have falsely said that Joseph Prince is a Christian, and presumably not a heretic,
even though they are aware that he is preaching heresies, is to bear false witness, because they have hardened their conscience to face up to the truth,
and such horrifying acts are totally inexcusable for the highest level of leadership in the Singapore Church.
Let me address Point No 7
of Bishop Philip Lim, President of NCCS, who wrote:
7. NCCS considers Elder David Ng’s open letter as an individual Christian complaining about another Christian, who happens to be a pastor.
By the above, NCCS has already proclaimed
Joseph Prince is a Christian,
and hence by implication, not a heretic.
NCCS has deliberately turned a blind eye
to all the humongous evidence produced on my website
which they are well aware of
that Joseph Prince is a heretic.
Amongst the humongous amount of evidence on my website,
let me give just 10 proofs
why Joseph Prince is a heretic,
who preaches against the Lord Jesus, Father God and His word.
Proof No 1
In a sermon, Joseph Prince said:

“So, those who advocate,
Yes, we must try our best to keep the law
is actually bringing people right into sin.”
Joseph Prince has committed a grave sin
as he is accusing the Lord Jesus, who is God Himself
for leading people into sin
because Jesus in Matthew 5:17-20,
had commanded believers to obey the law.
By accusing the Lord Jesus, who is God
for leading people into sin
is a heinous and monstrous sin
that Joseph Prince has committed!
So, how can Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS
say Joseph Prince is a Christian,
and hence by implication, not a heretic,
when Joseph Prince,
has accused the Lord Jesus, who is God Himself
for what?
For leading people into sin!
Proof No 2
In a sermon, Joseph Prince said:

“That church, and the church (Rev 2:4) left their first love.
When Jesus says you have left your first love
(Rev 2:4),
what is he saying?
He is saying you have forgotten that God loves you.
You’re not believing in His love anymore.
You’re not practising that love anymore.
And that’s the reason why you fell.
Fell, remember from where you fell.”
Joseph Prince blatantly twisted
Jesus’ words in Revelation 2:4,
from
“You have left your first love,”
to
“You have forgotten that God loves you.”
The plain meaning of Christ in Revelation 2:4,
which is simply about believers
losing their first love they had for Christ
and fellow believers,
is twisted by Joseph Prince
to mean they have forgotten about God’s love for them.
Such deliberate twisting of Jesus’s words in broad daylight
must be the work of a heretic.
The fact that Joseph Prince is that daring
to twist the words of the Lord Jesus, who is God Himself,
proves he is a heretic.
So, how can Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS say
Joseph Prince is a Christian,
and hence by implication, not a heretic?
Proof No 3
In a sermon, Joseph Prince said:

“Now I want to bring you to the question
of the teaching today, on how not to sin.
Have you noticed that trying doesn’t work?
So, why are we telling people you should be doing this.
You should be doing that.
You should, should, should.
All the shouldest and couldest and all that,
is actually putting law on the people.
Our answer must be Bible-based.
It must be based on the gospel.
The answer cannot be found in
stop sinning.
It cannot.
And God was proving to mankind that the law cannot.
In fact, the law, the strength of sin is the law.
The more you try to don’ts the don’ts.
The more you do the don’ts.
That you are supposed to don’t do it.
So, the answer cannot just be,
stop sinning.
We must look at the answer scripturally.”
Joseph Prince said:
“The answer cannot be found in stop sinning.
It cannot.
… So, the answer cannot just be, stop sinning.”
That’s what Joseph Prince said.
But, what did Christ say?
John 5:14 NIV
14 Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.”
Christ categorically told the person he had healed to
“Stop sinning
or something worse may happen to you.”
So Joseph Prince, by saying,
“The answer cannot be found in stop sinning.
It cannot.
… So, the answer cannot just be, stop sinning,”
is blatantly and openly going against
what Christ, who is God Himself said in the Holy Word of God.
If Joseph Prince
dares to go against what Christ said and the Holy Word of God
point blank and in broad daylight,
how can he not be of an Antichrist spirit
that originates from Satan himself?
And, how can Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS
say Joseph Prince is a Christian,
and hence by implication, not a heretic?
Proof No 4
In a sermon, Joseph Prince said:

“I want to drop a bombshell here.
Is it okay? Alright.
I want to drop a bombshell right now.
The word disciple or discipleship is never mentioned,
never after the book of Acts.
Paul never wrote about it.
All the authors of the epistles of the New Testament,
in all the epistles of the New Testament,
you cannot find one word, ‘disciple’.
It ended in the Book of Acts.”
“What are you?
You are not a disciple anymore.
The disciples are now called Christians.”
Now, we have it on record
that Joseph Prince spoke against discipleship
because according to him,
discipleship is no longer in existence.
Note that when Joseph Prince speaks against discipleship,
who is he speaking against?
He is speaking against the core and fundamental teachings
of the Lord Jesus,
who is God Himself.
If that is the case,
how can Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS say
Joseph Prince is a Christian,
and hence by implication, not a heretic?
Proof No 5
In a sermon, Joseph Prince said:

“It’s as much as false prophecy
if you are under the Old Covenant,
you prophesy comfort, you are a false prophet.
Okay, any more than if you are under grace (New Covenant) now,
you prophesy judgement, judgement, judgement,
you are a false prophet.”
Joseph Prince said that if a person prophesies judgement
under the New Covenant, he is a false prophet.
But that’s the very thing that Jesus did.
Jesus prophesied judgement on His people
and on Jerusalem in Luke 19:42-44,
and what happened?
And this resulted in the hundreds of thousands of Jews
who were massacred by the Roman soldiers,
which took place in AD 70,
under grace, under the New Covenant.
So, Joseph Prince, by stating that one
who prophesies judgement
in the New Covenant is a false prophet
is accusing the Lord Jesus, who is God Himself,
of being a false prophet.
So, how can Bishop Philip Lim and NCCS say
Joseph Prince is a Christian, and hence by implication,
not a heretic?
Proof No 6
In a sermon, Joseph Prince said:

“… Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
is Jesus still under the law.
All his disciples were under Law.
In fact, let me tell you this.
None of the disciples (Joseph Prince was referring mainly to the disciples/apostles of Christ)
were saved or born again.
How can they be saved?
Nobody was saved.
They were followers.
Yes.
They were disciples.
Yes.
But they were not saved.
Why?
How do I know that?
Because Jesus has not yet died.
He has not risen again.
So they were followers of Jesus.
Were they Christians?
No.
They were disciples.
Put that right.
He has not yet died.
He has not yet risen.
How can they be saved?”
Joseph Prince categorically asserts that no one,
including Jesus’ disciples/apostles were saved,
during Jesus’ earthly ministry
until the death of Christ on the cross
and His subsequent resurrection.
This teaching of Prince goes starkly against Jesus’ own words
in the scriptures
because Jesus Himself said
that Zaccheus was saved before He (Jesus) died.
Luke 19:9 NIV
9 … “Today salvation has come to this house…”
It was ‘today” that salvation came to Zacchaeus’ house
Today, meaning at the time of Jesus’ earthly ministry
and not sometime after His death and resurrection.
Next, the Dying Thief was saved even before Jesus died.
Luke 23:42-43 NIV
42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” 43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
Jesus himself said
It was ‘today” that salvation came to the dying thief
When is today?
At the time of Jesus’ earthly ministry
and not sometime after His death and resurrection.
Furthermore, Christ declared to His disciples:
John 15:3 NIV
3 “You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.”
In other words, the disciples were already spiritually clean
and truly saved
because they were forgiven of their sins
even before the Lord’s Supper, the Cross, and Pentecost
The fact that they were saved was confirmed by the fact that
when the disciples returned from a ministry assignment,
they were told by Jesus Himself
to “rejoice that your names are written in heaven,” in Luke 10:20.
When Jesus asked them to rejoice
that their names are written in heaven,
He was clearly saying they were born again
and were already saved at that moment in time,
not after the cross or His resurrection or Pentecost
but during Jesus’ earthly ministry.
Joseph Prince, by categorically asserting that no one was saved
during Jesus’ earthly ministry
until the death of Christ on the cross
and His subsequent resurrection,
means Joseph Prince had gone head-on

why Joseph Prince is a heretic,

This is because they have hardened their conscience

and by exonerating Joseph Prince from preaching heresies,

“When I read the statements made by The NCCS and signed by Bishop Philip Lim, I realised that they commented on how the complainants of heresy should have obtained the endorsements (meaning the permission) of the church leaders.
It shows he does not know what went on, on Sunday services when Ps Prince preached. He told the congregation at Suntec City and I was there and he said that he will not “entertain” poison letters.

Heresy demanded that someone had to be diligent enough to compile evidences and post those evidence in 1517 at Wittenberg against the hierarchical controlling body of the Roman Catholic Church, and that monk Martin Luther faced Pope Leo X, and his council, who excommunicated him wrongly.
We are seeing history being replayed here in Singapore – that the NCCS even dared to pick on the matter of Rev George Ong’s alleged termination of his ordination papers when the NCCS chose not to answer to the voluminous evidences of the half-truths and the avoidance of accurate scriptures and more.
My respect has increased for Rev George Ong, but sad to say, the NCCS has misrepresented the Bereans in our midst.”

Why are the pastors today so afraid to make a stand? Of course, if I were the pastor of a church, I may be tempted to find the excuse to avoid confrontational issues too.

Even NCCS has just made a stand too. So, I am sad to know that NCCS is now RUN BY a group of religious leaders who support the heretics now.
However, if you are really a pastor who needs to protect your flock, you do not have to follow NCCS. Yes, you are obligated by the law to cooperate and to follow the law or decision of NCCS; however, if the law of NCCS is to support the heretics or allow them to preach anything unhindered, you should be free to make your own stand even if it is different from theirs.
I think all pastors who know their Bible or know the will of God must be prepared for such a time like this when they must make a (difficult) stand. In fact, Jesus and the Apostles have set the example of making such a stand when the temple of God was RUN BY a group of Pharisees and Sadducees who supported the legalistic hypocrites at that time.
So, it is very likely we have to make the right stand too if we are a pastor who know that
1. we have no excuse to sit on the fence
2. we have to make a stand even if it is against the law or decision of NCCS
3. we have read the Bible and maintained sound doctrine with integrity,

Divine judgment: Scripture warns that God holds leaders to a higher standard of accountability (James 3:1) and will bring judgment upon those who abuse their position for personal gain.
Ezekiel 34 delivers God’s condemnation against the shepherds of Israel who fed themselves instead of the flock, promising, “I will attend to you for the evil of your deeds” (Ezekiel 34:2–10).
Serious personal consequences: David sinned by taking advantage of Bathsheba and murdering her husband (2 Sam. 11). While he was repentant, his child still died as a consequence of his failure (2 Sam. 12:18-19). Sin has consequences, even for leaders. Though forgiven by God for his sin with Bathsheba, his family and kingdom suffered greatly (2 Samuel 12:13–19).
In the New Testament, the apostle Paul advises that elders who persist in sin must be rebuked publicly (1 Timothy 5:20).
Loss of authority: A leader’s failure often requires their removal from a position of authority. The Bible specifies that church leaders must be “above reproach” and well-respected (1 Timothy 3:2, 7). A significant moral failure or pattern of missteps disqualifies them from serving in the same capacity, even if they repent.
Spiritual peril: Jesus issued strong warnings to hypocritical religious leaders. He called the Pharisees “blind guides” who shut the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces and made their converts “twice as much a child of hell” (Matthew 23:13–15).
Jesus also warned that anyone who causes a believer to stumble would be better off with a millstone hung around their neck (Matthew 18:6).
Failure of leadership is a grievous offense against God and God’s people: It stings, sometimes for years. It plants seeds of distrust that often grow into choking weeds that are difficult to remove. “No one is above correction. No one is above law. No one is above truth. No one is above doctrine and reasoning. If CASE or NCCS is an association that is set up with the purpose to protect the benefit or right of the consumers or Christian community, then CASE and NCCS must know the logic and the heart of the law which is set up to ensure that the purpose of the association or council is fulfilled too. Similarly, when there are hundreds of churches in Singapore, we do not think that all the churches are ‘unscrupulous’ cults too. None of us in our right mind would want to bring any acrimony or discord into the community, but when there is a complaint from the elders, pastors, reverends, and bishops against ‘ONE’ CHURCH, shouldn’t the Council (NCCS) do a thorough investigation on the ‘church’ that is being complained. Shouldn’t the Council investigate more on the complaint than the complainants?
Please use commonsense, HOW MUCH do you need to investigate on the COMPLAINANTS when most of them are Ex-members of 20 years or 30 years, active or retired pastors, reverends, and bishops?
Aren’t these pastors men of God (whether retired or not retired) qualified to present or raise a complaint against an ongoing serious issue, false doctrine, malpractice, lies, heresies, hypocrisy, unrepentance, lawlessness, or threat to the current Christian community?
I am terribly shocked and disappointed that this can happen when it involves the biggest church which still need to resort to ‘influence’, ‘people’, ‘system’, ‘control’, or ‘council’, to silence the complainants.
Please use commonsense again; how can the churches still preach the genuine and true gospel under such an ‘environment’ when NCCS will just block away any voice or complaint from the Christian community?

“NCCS must be commended for replying. Though I find it puzzling and sensed something amiss.
NCCS replied in October 2021 to the 26 complainants and had a zoom meeting with the senior pastor of NCC who welcomed the complainants to engage him directly. Did NCC got in touch with each complainant to meet him. In the first place was each complainant made aware that NCC will invite them to meet him. Secondly, did NCC invite them?
Thirdly, did NCCS follow through with each party to ensure this meeting was actually arranged. Because it is now November 2025 and it is still unresolved. Are we kicking the can down the road?
Finally, if there is a meeting, it should not be at NCC office. It can be very intimidating for an ex member to face JP and his pastors. The complainant can end up being corrected, lectured and talked down and his questions ignored.
If NCCS really wants to resolve this issue, NCCS should facilitate a meeting between both parties at a neutral venue and be present to arbitrate.
This is not a personal issue but a doctrinal issue which has to be resolved. NCC is a standalone independent church, not accountable to any supervisory body, where the senior pastor is only answerable to himself.”

5. Preaches healing via the Holy Communion for health and wholeness, when the real purpose of the Holy Communion is to remember what He did for us at the cross, 1 Corinthians 11:23-32.
NCCS seems to imply believers can have fellowship with false teachers who preach another Jesus (Galatians 1:8), another gospel (2 Corinthians 11:4) by their statement, and they will only respond to pastors and elders but not anyone else who points out the truth in the Word of God.”

“There is not a single verse in the Bible which explicitly states that It is essential (or it is a mandatory) for a regular church member to get formal approval from their own church leadership before identifying a false teacher from another church.
All believers are called to be discerning, test all teachings against Scripture, and be ready to defend the truth of the gospel. Calling out a false teacher is not the same as exposing the private personal sin of another believer.
For the latter, we must follow certain church protocol (steps) as instructed in Matthew 18:15-18 before calling out the name of the wrongdoer. But for the former which is about false teaching, it is a public matter that affects many people. Its public nature, and the potential harm it can cause, necessitates a public response. As such, it often requires public (open) identification.
This is clearly illustrated in the Bible by Apostle Paul who named specific individuals like Hymenaeus and Alexander who had “made shipwreck of their faith” (1 Timothy 1:19–20) and Hymenaeus and Philetus who were spreading false doctrine (2 Timothy 2:17).
Naming a false teacher should never be done out of malice or gossip but out of a sincere love for the truth and for the protection of others. Ephesians 5:11 commands believers to “expose” the unfruitful works of darkness (also read the parable of the “unfruitful/barren fig tree in Luke 13:6-9 for the action to be taken), not to participate in them.
When publicly naming a false teacher, we must have credible, biblical evidence to support your claim. This includes using the false teacher’s own words from their public statements, books, or sermons, and grounding your critique firmly in Scripture.
The motivation of Rev George Ong, Rev Tan Cheng Huat, elders David Ng and Dan Lim, and the rest consisting mostly of ex-NCC members is to protect the church, not to “win” an argument or gain a following.

That they have the power and authority as elected to resolve this issue. This issue has been bought before them and it should not thrown back to their members to pray and resolve it themselves.”

“Are you aware that New Creation Church recently revamped their website to include the statement of faith of that of the mainstream church? It was probably done within the past year or so.
For many years, all they published on their website is their all-time favourite statement – “To behold Christ and His loveliness and spread the gospel of grace to the world.”
Ask ourselves why NCC suddenly added all the statements of faith with all the Bible verses on their website? Will the real Joseph Prince and New Creation Church show yourselves?
Let all of us be like good Bereans to really examine what we hear from NCC pulpit or from JPM against God’s Words. To check with God’s Words and the guidance of the Holy Spirit to see indeed if NCC doctrines align with God’s Words.
Revamping NCC website can be a means to fool the naive folks out there. He who has ears hear what the Spirit is saying about NCC and JP.
Don’t leave it to any Christian leaders or Christian bodies to do it for us.”

“Fully agreed. What is happening before our eyes is passing the buck. The church pastor knows it is heresy and leaves it to his denominational head to correct it.
And the denominational head leaves it to the council of churches to correct it.
Surely the buck stops here!!! BUT the council passes the buck to God.”
